Another great car! Talk about bring back memories! I was a rookie in a Chrysler Plymouth Dealer when those were new. I almost bought a six Pack GTX until I found out the insurance was going to be more than the car payment! Yeah Lou, This car looks like the '70 GTX that had a story in one of my Mopar magazines many years ago. This story involves a Vietnam vet also with the same B5 blue and the 440 SIX BARREL. Part of the story was when he was in the driveway with the hood up and his dad noticed that part of the throttle linkage was not hooked up, so the owner hooked it back on and went for a spin to see what it was for, so he nailed the throttle and in split second the GTX was going SIDEWAYS!! Thought that was a cool story. Thanks Lou!

At 9:45 when he starts it up, if you look at the air cleaner, you can see the sun come through the air grabber as it opens.
    He paid $4040 in 1969, adjusted for inflation, that's $28,646 in 2020.
I don't know how these guys do it, I buy a new car, and it never fails, within six months it's got a scratch or a dent, or something, thank goodness for guys like him.

    Goodday Lou,
You hit this one way out of the ballpark.
Firstly Thank you Harry for your service & may you have a wonderful Thanksgiving Day 👍.
Absolutely a stunning colour combo, just highlights those beautiful B Bodies & the 1970 GTX is my favorite.
B5 blue, black vinyl roof, white interior, dog dish hubcaps, centre console, &
440, 6 barrels what else do you need in life.
Harry spec it spot on, & that story waving to the Camaro absolute gold.
" I was Colour Me Gone " in my words.
    Great video.
Your number 1 Fan in Australia
Louis Kats from Melbourne Australia ☺ 👍 ❤

We took my grandpa's 59 Belvedere on our first family trip to the U.S. back in 1965. That was his last Plymouth before he switched to Pontiacs and Buicks. My uncle had a very nice 64 Fury and then a 71 Satellite Sebring and a 78 Volare. My dad's only Plymouth was a 77 Volare Premier wagon with fake wood on the sides. We don't talk about that car much... too painful to recall all those factory recalls!

  • @Jhihmoac

OMG! What they used to call "Strip Mod Ready" GTXs.... The best kind, too! Like the Roadrunner of 68 and 69, this car put emphasis on the drivetrain and suspension, and everything else was either bare-bones, or close to bare-bones! In fact, in 68 and 69, you had to specify the GTX to get all the sport "goodies" like the mags, highback buckets, sport paintjob, console, A/C, etc... That all was NOT available on at least the standard 68 Roadrunner!
