In my opinion this type R is such a great upgrade in terms of design compared to the previous Gen. Kudos to Honda for bringing such a good looking car!
The Type R FL5 looks wayyyy hotter and beautiful, the colours are just "chef kiss" 🤌🤌. I was a bit disappointed when it first came out, but now I've grown out of it
I had a 2018 Si that I found snow tires for on steel rims. That was a blast to drive with the LSD in the snow. Traded up to a 2023 Type-R that hopefully wont see snow duty for several more years. 😁
Honda civic type R , after one year of use ,I recommend the best future loaded ,i the best options performance wise looks good thanks to the Honda team for lunch .
Interesting to see the differences between the European spec and US spec. US doesn't have power folding mirrors, the SOS thing on the roof (i dont remember what it's called). Auto start stop, US version also shows whether the passenger seat airbag is active or not by the USB. Shift knob boot looks like its suede or Alcantara, rear seat looks like it is suede, or Alcantara. Shift boot is leather in the US and rear seat is cloth. Trunk flat kit is only road flares, In the US it has a tow hook, and flat kit/tire pump combo. Maybe there's an upgrade package in Europe but thats what I notice between the video and my new boost blue Type-R. 😎
I was just going to type out the exact same thing! I knew that the standard steering wheel and shift boot in Europe come in alcantara finish, which is much better IMHO than the leather ones that come stock in the US. I want those back seats!! They look much more premium than the cloth ones we get 😍

Beautiful car, giant leap forward in defining the Type R marque. I've owned a 98 ITR myself and loved, loved, loved it. However, you are dumb AF if you pay the dealer's $15k - $20k "market adjustment" for a 23 CTR, all of which literally evaporates the moment you sign the papers.

Anyone dealership trying to sell this way over the MSRP price run away as fast as you can. There are some states where you can get it for the original price but it takes patience to wait especially with not to many out there, that is why they are trying to rip consumers off, that’s Honda’s fault for no producing more of these cars when Honda knows people want them. Just don’t buy it and you will see how Honda will be forced to drop the price.
Honda need to seriously up their game in the 0-60 and top end department for their civic type R's. More displacement with bigger turbos, perhaps 4wd...idk..but if you wanna out do the RS3's or golf R's etc then a change is needed instead of wasting such potential.
