I started knitting when I was expecting my first child in 1966. 58 years later I am still knitting for my son, grandson, daughter-in-law, sister, brother-in-law and my husband, friends, just anyone who is willing to enjoy the fruits of my hands. Thank you for your podcast, I love your mother daughter relationship.
Fall knitting Seward Socks by Caitlin Hunter is bringing me so much joy! I love your episodes: so neat to be able to do these episodes together. My mom is 93 going on 94 in Jan. '24, still crocheting a blanket a week for Blankets for Canada: they fit a twin size bed. She has made over 800! So blessed!
I love the trailing yarn story. You two are perfect together. Like Abbott and Costello. Dianna you're the funny one and Kaity the " straight man". I can't get enough of your podcasts.
Hey Girls! I am 72 and this community is such a gift to me. I taught myself to knit at a young age and have never had any fellow knitters. My DIL learned a few years ago so that has been wonderful . Congratulations on all the new subs! I knew it would happen because you two are such sweet spirits. Happy Fall knitting, Cheryl
Well ladies, you don’t know me but I know you (I know you understand me 😂). The last week or so you have spent a lot of time in my living room on the coast of Maine soaking up the wood fire, sipping on coffee, knitting and chatting away! I have enjoyed listening to your infectious joy of this craft. You are both so real and easy to listen to (whether you are intensely caffeinated or not 😆 ). Your projects are amazing and your relationship with each other reminds me so much of me and my Mum 🤍 I’m enjoying working my way through your episodes and being part of your community’! P.S. You recently mentioned in one of the previous podcasts (I know it was from fall 2023) about wooly worms. We call them wooly bears and there have been a ton especially around our church. Ours are telling us it’s going to be a wild winter. I’ll leave it in the Creators hands but it’s still fun to see ☺️
I so love listening to your podcasts, the both of you are so calming for the soul. Been knitting for about 30 years, I am 59. Socks are my go to projects.
I am surprised by how much I've been enjoying knitting hats lately! They're mostly Musselburghs and Classic Ribbed Hats. I've been knitting on different sweaters--right now, the Susurrus and Ranunculus are my most active sweater WIPs--but the hats have become my relaxing knitting the last few weeks. Congrats on the milestone!
I made 4 Olive and Bean sweaters for my little granddaughters. I chose not to do the colorwork on the sleeves. I was worried their little fingers would get caught! Love you two! I told my husband "I would knit with them!" 😊
Congratulations ❤ I love you ladies. I am self taught left hand knitter at age 60 ( since January 2033) I am excited to knit All the things. Baby blankets for my grandkids are my favorite
Great episode ladies. I loved both garments you were wearing. I've had the Festival sweater on my to do list for awhile, you've given me the urge to get movin with that. Your yarn selections and colors are so good. Thank you for all the inspiration. Congratulations on 3000 subscribers.
Congratulations on 3k subscribers. A true testament to the joy you bring us all. And Dianna thanks for the chuckle as I picture your yarn entanglement lol xox
It’s me again! You just spoke about someone who is 80 knitting! I’m living in northern Virginia now but was from Nashville originally-my husband is a retired Air Force fighter pilot and we are still durable and thriving. I’ve been knitting since 1954-yes-I was born in 1940-so you can do that math!! Haha! (I was born in Hopkinsville but only lived there til 2 yrs old. I began spinning last year and love it too! Hoping to meet you guys in person one of these days! Your podcasts are amazing! Sending hugs!! Angela❤
Hi Diana and Kaity, all your finished objects are so nice! Kaity I love the colors in the socks you are working on, they are so pretty! And Diana I can totally identify about the yarn story in the coffee shop!!!! I have done things like that throughout my life and since I went back to college in my late 40’s I remember feeling so self conscious around all the young students it would be even worse for me. It was fun to hear your story and laugh, it’s good for us. I wish you both a blessed and fun week!!!
Omgoodness congratulations on 3,000 subscribers! The 2 projects that are bringing me the most joy right now, a hat I’m knitting for my husband’s Christmas gift, Jason’s cashmere hat and a cardigan I test knit a while back, Latte cardigan . I’ve been enjoying y’all since the beginning and I’m so happy to see how far you’ve grown, but I’m not surprised because y’all are a pleasure to watch and knit with.
Hello Ladies, Congratulations on 3K! I have to say I really enjoy listening to the two of you, such a lovely Mother/Daughter duo and you can see the wonderful bond you have. Thanks for sharing your time and knitting with us 🌻 I am knitting a baby sweater for my anticipated 1st grandchild and am so excited to be knitting all the tiny things ❤
I’m the new, really old knitter!! 😂 I’m finishing my second of my socks. This is my first ever project of any kind. I dove in with both feet and I’m not getting out. Congratulations on 3000 subs. 🎉
I love watching your videos, my mother lives to far away, but when we are together we crochet almost every minute. Currently I am working on my first ever knitted socks and a pull over sweater.
So glad to see you and all your projects! The story about the yarn at the coffee shop is hilarious 😂😂 I am knitting my first color work piece…a hat….we’ll see how it looks!
I’m so glad you’ve reached 3000 subscribers because that means more people are getting to enjoy your sweet podcast! I have stopped all my other knitting because I saw the Roadrunner cowl by Mary Ann Lammers on A Lovely Yarn podcast and then saw the Diana colorway of Malabrigo Rios at my local yarn store the same day. It is a beautiful fall colorway, so I am knitting this cowl to wear for fall.
Hi Kaity and Diana, congrats on 3000 subscribers! I’m working on a Night Shift shawl in fall color-changing yarn and it’s squishy and really is bringing me joy. Thanks for another great episode 😊
Congrats on the 3K subscribers. You ladies are an absolute treasure to watch and learn from. I love to have a podcast on for company when I knit. I am a busy Mom with three kids and it's hard to make time for knit nights etc. I have a lovely LYS and the ladies there are more than amazing. However, I's hard to visit them during their hours and I am glad to have the podcasts to give me company. Only a fellow crafter gets what we are passionate about :) With fall here I am getting socks knit for the family and also working on two sweaters, to be ready by Christmas positively.
I look forward to spending time with you guys every time you post an episode. Right now I am working on fingerless mittens so I can still knit at outdoors events this fall. Congratulations on welcome 3000 subscribers to your community. See you next time!
Congratulations on 3000 subscribers🎉 I am knitting an Alastair cardigan for my 4th grandson right now - as I knit, I pray for the person I am knitting for 🙏 I love your podcast and your sweet relationship

Hi ladies. Congratulations on 3000 subscribers! I am crocheting two blankets for grandchildren for Christmas. Thanks for sharing your knitting with us.
Jag har ätit lunch och stickat på Joel sweater av Aegyoknit under tiden jag lyssnat och titta på detta avsnitt. Ensam hemma så jag har kunna hänga med hela avsnittet utan att avbryta. Mycket trevlig stund, stort tack😀🙏🍁🍂
My fall knitting plan is to make the sheep camp sweater. I’m going to Rhinebeck for the first time on Saturday (so excited!!!) and planning on buying yarn for it there so it’ll be extra special and full of memories 😁😁
Congratulations on 3000 subs! I love watching your podcasts. I’m knitting on my Killer Queen cowl for one of my fall projects. I am loving it! Thanks for all you do. Happy knitting!
Congrats on 3000! What a great achievement and well deserved. Your podcast is so enjoyable and my mom and love watching together. We knit together and yarn crawl together, but knit different items. She is a Major sock knitter and makes up her own patterns. I knit everything or anything that catches my eye.😊 I did get her to join in a KAL for the yarn crawl we just sent on last month. It was a shawlette. I had to go the extra the step and make a mini one for my maltipoo. 😂 She became the star on the yarn crawl. Looking forward to your next podcast.
Another great episode ladies. Congratulations on 3000 subscribers, very exciting. I’m knitting a Musselburgh hat and DRK everyday socks. I wish I had someone to knit with. My daughter has no interest in my hobbies so I’m hoping my granddaughter Pippie will knit with me. She keeps telling me that I should do a podcast. She said “grandma you would be so great at that!” I told her she would have to do it with me. She’s only eight. I did get her to start sewing. Who knows maybe I’ll get her knitting too.
My fall knitting is the Catrina Slipover that I cast on while watching this podcast. I enjoy your FO’s and have knit many of them. Congratulations on reaching 3000 !
This is the second time I have binged watched all your podcasts. You are amazing and I love what you knit. I would love a family member to knit with but I don’t. Keep the great podcasts coming….big hugs Sue from UK XXXXXX
Congratulations on 3K🎉 I think that you two ladies are the only people who are surprised that you are at 3K!! The rest of us have known since the beginning. I’m knitting for myself, a novel idea, and it’s the Irma Hat in Juniper Moon Moonshine. I’m also knitting a Classic Ribbed Hat by Purl Soho and a Flax by Tin Can Knits for my grandson in TN….size 1-2 in Malabrigo Rios. I also just wound Findley in a pumpkin color and an Antique colorway Angel lace from Life in the Long Grass for a scarf, Flummery. Keep on knitting! Thank you again for deciding to podcast and for producing such a wonderful podcast!❤
Love watching your podcast. The two of you are so sweet and Knowledgable. Working on musselburgh hats for gift's as well as socks. Looking forward to your next podcast💕
I finished my first ever Ranunculus for the knit-along! It was so fun and fast to make. I would definitely make more! Right now I am working on a Granny Square coat in fall colors. 😊
Congratulations on 3000 subscribers! That's amazing. I'm so, so glad. Your podcast brings me so much joy! 🥰 I love your Ranunculus sweaters! Thank you so much for hosting the KAL. I've knit one already and I can hardly believe it. It came together so quickly! I absolutely love it and I'm planning to knit another one. I'm going to use it as a reward cast on for finishing some gift knit projects. 😁
Congratulations on 3k subscribers🎉Wonderful to spend some knittingtime with you two lovely ladies tonight❤️ So much inspiration! I am knitting on some dr.who socks for christmas. Knitting 3 pairs for my husband and two oldest sons😅 Be blessed and happy fallknitting🧡🍂 Love from Anne 🇧🇻
3000 … wow! How exciting! I love you ladies and your sweetness. Always a joy to watch. I’m currently working on my second Kerr Sweater by The Creabea. I’m loving it even more than the first.
Hi I’m knitting on Steven Wests MKAL unfortunately I’m only on clue 1 and clue 3 comes out today. It’s been so fun discovering you through Amber at her podcast. I’ve watched ever since. I love the interaction between Diana and Kaity, such a respectful, loving mother , daughter relationship. Your inspiration is terrific too. Thanks for all you do
Congratulations on 3,000 subscribers! Fall knitting bringing me joy -Felix pullover, fall vanilla socks and baby sweater for new granddaughter! Love your podcast l!
Started my Zweig by Caitlin Hunter as my autumn project. Main colour is a tonal charcoal. The contrast colour is a beautiful Miss La Motte yarn in the colour "fiery autumn". It really is the perfect autumn colours in own skein. I love it!
Such beautiful new things Love the inspiration I am trying my hand a socks! I am not sure they are bring me joy - but lots of laughs. I am sure if someone were to video my face as I was encouraging the yarn to go where I wanted it to go it would be very entertaining 😂
Washing tip: I soak it in warn water with no rinse wool wash, then place in a delicate laundry bag and spin it in the washing machine on spin cycle only. Then hang it on a hook with something with weight on it. I actually use a power drill, it hooks perfect on the skein. Then ready to go next morning to use. Hope that helps.
Congrats on 3000 subscribers. I haven't started my project yet because I'm waiting for the yarn to arrive. But I'm looking forward to knitting a "cahdigan in geen" (his words) for my 2 year old grandson.
Hi ladies, I have several projects on the go right now - a baby blanket for a gift, and some gifts for my kids and grandkids for Christmas. Thank you for your podcast. Your makes are all so beautiful. All the best! Sheila
I think your sound is great!! I love the sweaters ... very nice!! Love the socks so much, too! Keep up the great podcasts, love you both. sending love, hugs, prayers
Congratulations! 🎉❤ I wish my mom and I had lived closer to each other, and we could have knit/crochet together. I enjoy the bond you two have ! I knit the ranunculus sweater and still haven't worn it. I used bamboo pop and am not sure I care for the drape. My fall knitting I'm enjoying right now is The Hinterland Sweater...love it! Also knitted charms from Susan B Anderson!
Hi! Thanks for keeping me company! I'm trying to finish the Fig Cardigan that I started in May! Sinc then I have finished a whole bunch of things. Congrats on hitting 3K!!
Enjoy your podcast with a mother and daughter 💗. I am knitting the Anker Cardigan. I’m sure I will love it when I am done but my brain is planning my next project. This is taking forever. 🧶
Congratulations on 3000 subscribers! I’m sure your site will continue to grow and grow because you are so genuine and your knits are fabulous. Diana, I can’t wait to see your finished Mariechen. It is gorgeous so far. I am knitting the Close to you shawl and am going to start Marie Wallin’s Ennerdale Cowl next.
Yes Inga washes her knits ❤ and I do want to try to do it since it is practical in a sense. And 3000 ❤❤❤❤ congratulations 🎉 you guys do deserve it and I am about to cast on a test colorwork Ian so excited about and finishing another jumper test knit in cotton alpaca blend I have so much fun I am in sleeve island
I'm enjoying knitting Alicia Plummer's 'in Stillness Drop bottom up sweater for Fall. Although it's spring here in New Zealand 😊 I discovered your podcast through a recommendation from another podcast... Mainly knitting ... and have been binging on your episodes. Just caught up I really enjoy listening to you both sharing your joy of knitting. Thanks ❤
Congrats on 3000 subscribers!! I love your podcast and all your makes. I am making a basis vest to wear in this hot flash stages of life ha ha. I have been knitting since I was 9. My mother taught all her daughters but I am the youngest of 10 and it stuck with me all these years. Have a wonderful week ahead. Thanks from Canada 🇨🇦
Hi ladies. I am in Southwestern Ontario Canada and enjoy your podcasts very much. I am knitting Leslie Friend’s Friend to Friend shrugs for gifts too. You may enjoy Yarn Ink which is another mother-daughter podcast originating in Boston I believe. Congratulations on your new subscribers!
If you have a steamer, that frogged yarn can be steamed straight. What I've done is wrap it around a large cutting board and then run my steamer over it. It's worked for me to be able to knit with frogged yarn.
I love knitting while watching your podcast. I really wish I could get my kids to knit. I taught my hubby but he said it wasn't for him. Now he is learning crochet but I think he will be putting it aside soon....it's easy to get frustrated at first!
Congrats on 3,000, that’s wonderful!!! I am SO excited it’s finally Fall. I love knitting hats and shawls for Fall 😊. Thank y’all for such a great podcast ❤
Love to watch your podcast❤️ perfect mother-daughter duo in knitting community. Ruska Cardigan, just finish my test knit for Sarah @s.knits and couldn't be happier 😍
Congratulations! Enjoy your podcast! I am on my 3rd "Little Opa" sweater for my grandsons; hoping to knit one for each of my grands. I also am so proud that last week I completed a men's "Front Porch Sweater" for my adult son. It's knit it in Sandnes Garn Peer Gynt which was so nice to work with. This is an all over cable sweater, which I had never knit before. I couldn't be happier with the pattern and the finished garment. It looks quite complicated, but actually once you grasp the pattern it knits up very quickly and I can't wait to gift it.
Congratulations on 3k subscribers! I’m looking forward to Fall knitting on an Attic 24 afghan, Barbie pink sweater for granddaughter and several other projects!
Fall knitting.....I've almost finished my second City Limits Sweater. Five different colorways of sock yarn that are marled and faded together. The colors blended are very much fall colors but on the cool side. It makes for a warm sweater when you use 2 fingering weight yarns together. I want to make one for my husband with camouflage colors.
I have been loving watching your podcast. I found it through Amber from the Lovely Yarn. I had been in a garment sewing stage for the last year and a half and hadn't knit anything for quite some time, but watching her and you both has given me the itch to pick my needles back up. So I'm working on the Felix cardigan (which I thought was very fitting as our two year old son is named Felix :) ), as well as a pair of socks for each of my parents for Christmas. First time making socks and I'm getting to experience both toe-up and cuff-down because of the patterns I chose. I'm really enjoying them and see many more socks in my future. There is just something about handmade socks. Thank you for your podcast and I hope you keep it up.
Hello ladies.. Congrats on 3k !!! I too only started to learn to knit a few months ago, I am 63 years young. I am working on my first pair of socks. I am using Paton Kroy zebra strip. So far so good.
My fall knitting has commenced with a big bang. I'm working on the Yume by Isabel Kraemer and playing a serious game of yarn chicken. I am even going to have to spit splice the strands of yarn that tied the skeins to get one more round for the bind off! Happy knitting to both of you. Love the podcast so much.
😂your dropped yarn ball story gave me such a laugh! I did the same thing at an airport and a stranger had to say “Excuse me, ma’am, I think you dropped something” I just about died that day with embarrassment. If I were you I would’ve been temped to break the yarn and walk out like I had no clue 😂
Congratulations on achieving 3,000! I LOVE Copper Corgi! She displayed at a Knitting Pipeline Retreat years ago, Georgia or Maine, I forget. But she is delightful and dyed some yarn specifically for me. Lovely yarns! Most recently I finished The Jane Cardigan which I love. Currently making stocking stuffers of Purl SoHo’s Double Thick Potholder with their Sunshower Cotton. So nice! And I don’t particularly like working with cotton. But this is so soft! And some Gnomes by Susan B Anderson from scrap yarn. Enjoying the easy patterns for now while watching my fav podcasts!
Hello ladies. I’m from BC in Canada. I really enjoy your podcast it’s very refreshing. Very kind! Congratulations on 3000 subscribers. I am sure that number will grow! My mother in law is almost 95 and she’s still knitting! Never too old to knit! I’m just finishing up a No Frills sweater. I’m doing a test knit for a child’s sweater. I just finished my Super Simple Summer Sweater. I’m just about to cast on a Felix as I love yours. And of course a ranunculus for my daughter! Look forward to your next podcast!
Congrats on 3000 subscribers! I am enjoying working on knitting the Peninsular Vest by Ailbiona McLocklainn right now ( and praying I have enough yarn!). Happy knitting, Yaël
Another blessed episode. I was sad to see it end. My joy yarn base mostly comes from crochet and am looking forward to working on a couple of Solid Hexi Cardis from Craft and a Cuppa this fall for granddaughters. Currently knitting socks which gives me a little angst but going to try this time a very simple heel construction from Autumn Acorn, or maybe an afterthought heel. Thank you, ladies!
I started knitting when I was expecting my first child in 1966. 58 years later I am still knitting for my son, grandson, daughter-in-law, sister, brother-in-law and my husband, friends, just anyone who is willing to enjoy the fruits of my hands.

Thanks for all you do
First time watching and ready to go back and watch more!!!
I love it!
Such beautiful new things
Love the inspiration
I am trying my hand a socks! I am not sure they are bring me joy - but lots of laughs. I am sure if someone were to video my face as I was encouraging the yarn to go where I wanted it to go it would be very entertaining 😂
Heyy 🙋♀ How wonderful to see you back - I hope you are keeping well and doing good 💐🙏💖😍
Washing tip: I soak it in warn water with no rinse wool wash, then place in a delicate laundry bag and spin it in the washing machine on spin cycle only.
I have been working on my Felix Pullover and a bunch of accessories for Christmas for my co workers. It's been a busy knitting and crocheting fall!
Hi ladies, I have several projects on the go right now - a baby blanket for a gift, and some gifts for my kids and grandkids for Christmas. Thank you for your podcast. Your makes are all so beautiful. All the best! Sheila
The fall project that is bringing me joy is the Eva Cardigan by Petite Knit. It's very easy and works up quickly.
I’m making bean & olive for my girls and I knit the body much longer than the pattern calls for. Yours is beautiful!
Although it's spring here in New Zealand 😊
I discovered your podcast through a recommendation from another podcast... Mainly knitting ... and have been binging on your episodes.
Just caught up
I really enjoy listening to you both sharing your joy of knitting.
Congratulations on 3k subscribers!! 🎉 I’m really enjoying spending time with you ladies and catching up with previous videos! ☕️ Hugs from 🇧🇷 (Brazil)
I am knitting the Autumn League sweater. Enjoying it very much. Really enjoy your podcast!
Congrats, love the podcast. It must be nice to have someone to knit with, as this is a solitary craft. I enjoy watching very much.
Congratulations on 3k subscribers! I’m looking forward to Fall knitting on an Attic 24 afghan, Barbie pink sweater for granddaughter and several other projects!
I just love watching the two of you together. Another great episode!!! I hope you try to take the sleeves out and love your sweater as a vest 💖😘
Ooh congratulations on having over 3k! 🎉
My favorite Fall knit right now is my Geogradient MKAL. It is so much fun!
Love listening in to your chats ❤ it makes me want to convince my mom to pick up crochet again ahahah
Enjoying the easy patterns for now while watching my fav
podcasts!
Always look forward to your podcasts. Congratulations on 3000! Working on my ranunculus while watching.
I am knitting the Storm sweater by Peiteknit. Love watching you guys! You are so much fun! Thanks!
Fall knitting projects……hats….very portable…..would like to start a Ranunculus…..inspired by the both of you
Knitting a Morton cowl extra long for my grand daughter. Really thinking about knitting a ranunculus again! Christmas knits in the planning phase.
