Hi Ina! I did not know about your son’s illness. I am very relieved to hear he is getting better. What stressful days those must have been! Thank you for sharing your beautiful and inspiring knitting ❤ Take care
Oh, Ina, I am so happy to year that your sweet son is on the mend. We all shared your anguish. Those mittens are gorgeous in that colorway. Ina, your blanket is a treasure. It looks very similar to one I made a year ago after watching your tutorial. I used the charcoal black border and used up so many scraps of mostly Holst Supersoft. It sits on our bed in the wintertime and my husband adores it. I started another one but it has been sidetracked as I binge on sweaters.
Hi, Ina. I’m so glad that your son is on the mend. The Ranunculus is beautiful… it looks good on you. I love the mittens! I like the socks too. I’m knitting Christmas socks too. Your mitred square blanket is gorgeous! I’ll check out the tutorial. The Farnham Sweater is looking lovely. The Happy socks are happily colourful. You have been a very busy knitter. I love the socks that you’re knitting from the sock blanket. I love the red striped socks. Take care, Ina❤️

Hello from northern MN, Very clever solution for the mittens and they are gorgeous.Your knitting always amazes me. Thank you and I am thankful to hear that your son's health issues were addressed successfully.
What a difficult time it's been for you. Watching your child struggle through illness is emotionally and physically stressful. So glad he's doing well. ..at least well enough to plan for his future😊 Kids!! The bind off on your sweater looks so nice. I'm always amazed to see sock blanks become something so different as they're used. I wonder if the designer has any idea what their "art work" will look like when the blank is used. Thank you for this doing this podcast whemm you had so much going on.
Thank you so much, your kind and vise words are highly appreciated! Those sock blanks are very fascinating, I guess the unpredictability of the outcome is what makes knitting with them so fun. For me at least🙌🏻☺️
Happy to hear your son is recovering at home and your heart is mending. The blanket is perfect for him. My goodness you got lots of knitting in. Glad you had that to ficus on during the tough times.
Oh my goodness Ina, I am so sorry to hear about your son’s illness and relieved to hear that he is much better. I appreciated you remarks at the end also. One of the Buddhists I used to follow made the comment, no mud, no lotus. It rang true to me. I still enjoyed your episode as always. That sock blank was so beautiful that I an see why you hesitated to use it for so long. But the socks are lovely. My best wishes for calm in your household, Eileen ❤️
Knitting is also my therapy. Thank goodness I have it always on the go. My mitred blanket - inspired by you - is slowly growing. I love working on it, in between socks and sweaters.
Grateful to hear that your son’s recovery is well underway and that you are taking care to manage your migraines. I’ve always loved your updates of your son’s mitred square blanket and the meaning that blanket will hold for both of you. Your episodes are never too long. They are just right. Take care, Ina. ❤
Dear Ina, lovely to see you back! Many moons ago I managed to happily (!?!?) accept pneumonia from a classmate of mine. I was in hospital for a week and then resting at home for another... so was she... Wonderful to hear your son is on the mend. Oh and can't wait to see your finished candy-cane-like Christmas socks, they'll be fab!
I'm delighted to hear that your son is doing better. Lots of healing energy straight to your Momma heart and to your boy. It's so good that knitting is such a comfort to so many of us.
Glad your son is getting better. It must have been terrirying to find out that he was so sick. I use knitting also for stressreliefing and manageing my feelings, too. And I really love how the blanket turned out! I have been following its progrogress from the beginning. Glad you have finished it.
Glad to hear your son is doing well and I hope your migraines are subsiding. What a supportive group of this knitting community too. Lovely knitting projects and look forward to your next video.
Gorgeous blanket. love your videos, and yes we go to our knitting for some solace. Good to hear that your son is now getting well. I come down with pneumonia if I cannot get away from fragrance chemicals. They cause me illness. Very Best Wishes to you and your son
Hi Ina, so glad they found out what was wrong with your son and were able to treat it, what a scary time for you. Congratulations on finishing his blanket, what a treasure! Loved seeing all your other beautiful knits, you are always very inspiring. ❤🙏
I am very glad to hear your son is getting better now. Isn't knitting the best to keep us calm in stressful times ? At least you have been making quite a great production. Thanks for this video.
Glad your son is getting better. All your knitting is so lovely, it's nice to finally start knitting on hoarded yarn once you get going isn't it! Take care xx
I follow you on Instagram and somehow missed that story. Such a harrowing time for you and your family. So glad to hear that your son is on the mend now. Always enjoy your company and seeing all your knits. I live quite near New Lanark Mill. Love their wool, so hard wearing, but not as cheap as it used to be. Love how you managed the colourwork on the mittens. They turned out great! I tend to knit socks too when I’m stressed. ❤🧦
Thank you for sharing your journey with your son’s illness and recovery. I’ll be keeping you in my prayers. Your blanket looks amazing, he will cherish it forever and pass it down to your future granbabies🧶❤️ Your podcast was not too long, I was able to finish one mitten and cast on its mate👏🧤💕
I'm glad your son is feeling better. We had a scare with my daughter last year that lasted the entirety of the summer. It was a relief when it was all resolved.
I’m so glad to hear that your son is recovering!! That is such good news. Your projects always inspire me and isn’t it comforting to know that we always have our knitting when life gets challenging? Sending love from Canada❤
Ina, I'm so glad to hear your son is better and healing from his hospital stay. You look beautiful as always as do your knits! Love all the stripey and scrappy socks. I'm now wanting to cast on a pair of red stripey Christmas socks because yours are so festive! ❤
I’m glad your son is doing better, that would have been very stressful. I love the blanket and seeing everything you’re working on, after seeing all your socks I’m thinking I need to cast on ❤
Hi Ina! totally enjoyed your episode and I hope your son is fully recovered. Really love the idea of a scrappy blanket that you've knitted for your son with the black border. I am thinking to use that idea, but I wonder how much black yarn you have used per each square or in total. thank you, Marina
I havent measured exactly, but I think one 50g ball of the boarder yarn will be enough for at least 15-20 squares. I am planning to knit another sqare and post a new tutorial documenting the start and finish of the blanket, will make sure to measure the amount needed there😊
Lovely podcast as always! Your are such a joy to listen too! Happy that your son is on the road to recovery and that your mama heart is ok again! Your knitting was lovely. You encouraged me to try the Italian bind off after all. Take care my friend! Sending you positive vibes ! ❤
