I wish these companies would work on their branding a bit more, they all have terrible names and logos. Just pay someone to come up with something more creative, not just ask the cleaning lady for a brand name.
I've had the San Martin SN0144 with the orange dial for a couple of weeks now and it is absolutely phenomenal. During the sale it'll most likely be priced just a little below 300 bucks and for that price it is a no brainer.
I just received the Addiesdive 'Longines' 36mm VH31 with the mint dial as you showed. For $54, I just couldn't NOT get it! I must say, this one really shocked me. The dial is absolutely astonishing. Your photography actually does do it justice. It catches light like crazy. The hands and indices are fantastic. It is also extremely light on wrist. I am wishing more manufacturers would use the VH31 Quartz. It does a good job of mimicking an automatic movement. It also allows for a much thinner case design (always a good thing IMO), it's far cheaper, and makes the watch lighter, not to mention it's trouble free. All good things.
I bought a watch from AMZWATCH lightly used for my last milestone birthday. Don't wear it as much as it deserves, but not afraid to, either. It's stunning . Good taste, Sir.
I have that Cadisen AD8230M with the grey dial and can add a couple of points if you dont mind. It's a very attractive watch and the dial appears black in low or artificial light but a beautiful dark slate grey sunburst in strong or outdoor light. Its lovely. I also like the bezel for its 24 hour (13-24) and half hour indicators with a lume pip at midnight. Its not a GMT bezel as some other reviewers have stated. The finish to the case is all over brushed which is also nice and can't fault the NH35 movement running at +9 secs p/d on my example. The case back is solid and screws down with 10atm/100m WR claimed, it probably is. The crystal is sapphire and the screw down crown at the 4 o'clock (or 16:00 if you prefer 😁) is signed. It really is a stunner... Once you finally get that pesky little blue sticker off the crown. Unfortunately it isn't all plain sailing to happyland. The milled clasp is quite difficult to engage when closing and it sticks closed when opening, although to be fair, this has improved a bit as I've been wearing it in. The bezel is very sloppy. Bit of backplay and is quite loose so it turns on its own while wearing it. This means you have to set the thing everytime you check the time which is rather irritating. As it's a 24 hour feature and not a GMT it doesnt really need to rotate so I guess a tiny dab of super glue would resolve that but it doesnt scream good QC. The most annoying problem is the pushpins in the bracelet. There are arrows on the inside of the links to indicate which way round they are fitted but sadly most (but not all... Aaaargh...) have been installed the wrong way meaning the resizing tool splits the pin prongs and jams the pin in the link. It does eventually come out with a degree of force and some large pliers but doing this has caused some scratches on the link sides during removal. I'd suggest using a jewellers loupe, a magnifying glass or a close up photo to have a shuftie at the pin ends first to figure out which is the pin loop (the end you tap) and which are the prongs (the end you don't tap). Don't rely on the direction arrows. First time this has ever happened to me, and I've resized many pushpin watch bracelets, including Cadisens. Might be an unfortunate one off but again, indicative of poor QC. If people can put up with or work around these foibles I'd recommend the watch, just coz it's a really nice looker... If not? Well, y' pays yer money etc. Hope this is helpful.
Bought in most recent Ali sale Sugess S423 with Seagull ST1901 and for £140 it’s utterly amazing. I’m lucky to have huge wrists so the 51mm l2l sits well but for my first Sugess I’m blown away and may start looking outside San Martin….but SMs new distressed model is 🎉
Thank you so much for all your reviews on these. Excited about the upcoming 11.11 sale. Have you ever reviewed any of the RMALTI watches? They have some really nice looking Grand Seiko 40mm homages with Linen dials that I have my eye on. Would love to hear your review on them. I apologize if I missed the reviews.
I absolutely love watches, the high end watch brands are out of my budget but the MAMACOO has literally an almost duplicate of every single watch on the market . Always a great but no matter your budget.
The San Martin is the pick of the bunch but I wish they offered it in a no date option. The cadisen also would look good if it had the correct bezel, but I have seen versions that do which is confusing.
Fan of the channel! Suggestion / request: would you please make a video on what you believe to be the best picks for complications,? For instance a video on your wishlist for perpetual calendars. A video on your picks for minute repeaters (yes I found one!) . Moon phase picks. I think your experience with the brands in general and your values (quality, originality, price) would be highly appreciated!!! Thanks for the great vids.
I couldn't find that anyone else has reviewed it yet, but I do love my new Baltany S2081. Must be a new release? 38mm Dirty Dozen style, but with a Sea-Gull ST17 auto movement, sm seconds, AND DATE.
I have a quick question. Do you have to wait until prices drop in an AliXpress sale, THEN add it to your basket? Or if it's in your basket already, then the price drops, will it still go down automatically? I've not used AliXpress much. Thanks.
Bought Cronos chronograph immediately after your review and watch is absolutely amazing, 10/10. Makes me wonder why should I ever buy any entry level mechanical chrono for like 1-3K $ (I don't count st1901) just to have a brand name and expensive to service movement when you can buy literally 10 of these Cronos and alike chronographs for the money with even better finishing and looks. Watch looks more premium than hamilton mechanical chrono yet you can swim with it and bash it around for 1/10 of the price. (Not comparing it to high end chronographs though 😊)
I like a lot of them. Wish we could get past this 39mm standard though, they just look too small on my wrist, just counts a lot of really nice watch’s out for me. Bring back the 41’s.
Splurged on a rifle, but it's always great to see the latest and greatest watches. Addies on a roll for sure - they just need to do a Watchdives and change to a decent logo.
It's sad that watches that look good cost over 1k+. AMZWATCH watches are REALLY well made, and it just shows how a brand name on a watch can make its price 10x higher. I understand that if you look under a microscope, you'll find the difference, but just how many of you really inspect a watch at that level when you see someone with a watch?
That first Addiesdive GMT looks really good but damn that logo ruins it for me...they should have just gone with the name like the other ones. But think i will try find a nice Murph homage in the next sale and some watch parts to build somthing and that would be fun to see you do in a video aswell =)
Gary, my man, I haven't watched your videos in a while because I never know if the watch is one I will find interesting enough to watch a video! I clicked on this one because I know what it is about, but at least show the dial in the thumbnail for the others!
I own several Addiesdive watches and they truly ARE in another league as far as how well they are done. I got several comments the first couple times I wore my AD2059.....it is that good.
@@gilbertoflores7397I have one of the AD and tbh the bracelet is actually quite good. I mean comparing this to a 500 dollar watch (like my Bulova surveyor) is nuts in it self. However, it is up there with bracelet comfort. It is a cheaper bracelet but way better than even entry level sekios. Just my two cents. The reason it’s so cheap is because it’s…well chinas work environment. They pay their workers nothing and work 7 days a week usually. As well, they’ll get ya on shipping and tariffs sometimes.
Different for every country, some have none and some have high tariffs and I can’t list them for each country…people know their own tariffs and it’s up to them to take them into consideration
Don’t get me wrong; really like your videos. However, using the word “quality” with these Chinese pieces of junk is laughable. I’m not sure if you’re being sincere in that regard or simply trolling. These are replicas [what we used to call fakes] that are simply stamped with goofy brand names to avoid trade infringement.

I wish these companies would work on their branding a bit more, they all have terrible names and logos. Just pay someone to come up with something more creative, not just ask the cleaning lady for a brand name.
Specially "Cronos", right? 😂😅
The cleaning lady gotta eat too 😅
Addiesdive most likely has the worst one.

Completely agree. Wally Merck sounds like an old white trash man with no teeth. Just name it something French and they would be better

Some nice choices and glad that there are now more quartz offerings.

In few days I should get mine, but i knew that mint dial will be extremely bright watch so I ordered grey dial.
yeah and it looks great on a dark burgundy lizard leather band - not into small watches but with this dial I just can't not wear it
Today I get mine. Don't believe in auction description lug width is 19mm not 20mm like they claim.
Is there a short version? Lol
Quartz movement in most watches is a big + actually
great close up shots!
Please Addiesdive make a 40mm version of the Green dial one
I bought a watch from AMZWATCH lightly used for my last milestone birthday. Don't wear it as much as it deserves, but not afraid to, either. It's stunning . Good taste, Sir.

Hell of a list Sir! Thank you. This sale is going to be bonkers I think. That new San Martin is high on my list!

The Proxima watch is the only one I would buy .

a little to large ;-)

@@SingleTrackMined OK, cheers. 👍
Why does the Cadisen have a 24 hour GMT bezel when it isn't a GMT movement?
I really want the AD2066 in green but can't find it in stock to ship to the UK

I agree i bought a beautiful tandorio dive watch recently for a great price 37mm nh35 ,even my wrist is small the watch dial looks very small
Totally agree! I’d be buying a few of them if they were 41/42mm.
Im the opposite from you. I want smaller watches. Thin 36-37mm watches fit my small wrist perfectly.
Yup this downsizing has been a frustration. I've bought some, but they seem a bit ridiculous, like wearing a kid's watch, lol. 45mm is my spot.
No
San Martin e Proxima incredibili.
I'm genuinely impressed with how close MAMACOO were able to replicate every aspect of this very very goofy looking classic watch.
Splurged on a rifle, but it's always great to see the latest and greatest watches. Addies on a roll for sure - they just need to do a Watchdives and change to a decent logo.
They have yet to perfect fake gold or gold plated.
The Cadisen was specifically designed for Americans to teach them how to read the time like the other 95% of the world do.
😂
Trump: "95% of the World doesn't even exist....... doesn't exist!
THERE'S NO ONE... that knows it better than me!" LOL
Nuts
Guaranteed for ....😂
Shame about the logo or lack thereof on that Proxima. Needs a bit more visual weight at the top of the dial.
Sizes in future videos please.

Thanks, I’d love to show the watches but honestly it cripples the performance
Cronos should remove the date window from the panda chronograph.
The Casisen is not a diver.
GMT bezel and small indices…
Before even clicking to play this video, I am really hoping that there are no diver style watches included.
Afternoon!
Afternoon! hope youre good
Yes
Nice collection of sub 40mm ladies watches
The cadisen looks like a half hearted attempt to re create the seiko navigator gmt.
That dial on the baltany is a beauty but two tone watches are not my thing and the gold coloured bezel looks a bit trashy to me
