I just discovered your channel - love it! Although I make primarily wood furniture, I've been able to use your tips and techniques in my endeavors. I would love a "shop tour" video sometime if time allows. Always looking to poach new ideas that are "outside the box" from what I do. Thanks for passing on your knowledge!

The calipers and the spray gun are surprisingly cheap ! The palm sander is not bad, either !

I know it's probably not as exciting to make these types of videos as the longer step-by-step builds, but I really appreciate this one!!! I'm newish to making props and I need recommendations like this. Also, I loved the out takes!

Before I even clicked on this video I knew the X1C would be number one. It’s been an absolute game changer for the entire hobby. I can’t wait until we get an XL version.

OMG loved the bloopers. I always wondered how you tubers made flawless vids. Turns out they don't. Just really good editing. Thank you for the behind the video bloopers.
BTW I'm sure you have heard this before. But you sound a lot like Casey Kasem.

Best ever tool for me is the Dremel. So many uses. I'm curious about your new printer, though. I've heard lots of people recommending that brand. I still love to hate my Creality.

Actually, there is more than 3 ways to use calipers. I'm sure you already know of these methods. I figure due to simplicity to the video your making here, but for folks who do not know, here are a few more fun methods. Besides using the stem to measure the depth of a part for inner diameter hole you can also measure the depth on the outside as well plus a different way as well. The part you have holding in your hand in the video, the step between the larger and smaller diameter tube, to measure on the outside step for depth, have the two blades laying down on the tube surface with the blade on the left, in the the crevice of step. Pull the calipers out till the right blade that checks inner diameter holes is laying over the top edge of part. This will get you the number you need as well. Also used calipers are great for scribing as well. You can use a strait edge as a guide to follow the path with caliper tips to the correct length. Another thing is, if you drill a tiny center hole, you can use the caliper tips that are generally to check inner diameters as a scribe for making circles by putting one of the tips in the hole and the other to the radius length you set to make a complete scribed diameter. Also using the outside angles of the blades to mark with a pen on your part for perfect angles. I use them everyday and are an integral part of my job be at work or on my hobbies.

Typically I use paintable caulking since it can be feathered out with a damp sponge or rag.

I have a California AirTools compressor. It’s really quiet and not crazy expensive for the smaller CAT-1p1060s.

Still minor league here, can't go all in on anything like that printer lol... So my 5 would be: hot wire foam cutter, glue gun, heat gun, palm sander, paint gun. 😏🔫
