This is the second collaboration I have seen with the both of you in as many days. A day or so ago I watched a new video from Eric featuring Oz, now this older one popped up. Great to see as I am a fan of you both. Keep up the great work and content, and Eric, nice to see you back around again, I always look forward to your videos! 👍🏼👌🏼
You guys need to do this more often. Excellent and entertaining diagnostic process. Hoping to see some more videos like this. Thank you Eric and Oz for your hard work! 👍
Wow! My husband gets so mad at me when I have a problem with my car... (2000 Lincoln LS) I get on you tube and hunt for videos for hours, I make playlists and take notes and then I search message boards and then I try to tell him what to fix... (He is a very good mechanic... He fixes Diesels and Simi Trucks, Tractors, Dozers, Backhoes all that stuff on our 🚜 farm.) But I like to know random stuff... And I like to tell him what to do.... Hahaha! Thanks for this video! I have this exact problem and my Torque Pro app and OBD2 ADAPTER weren't telling me nothing... So of course I couldn't tell my husband What to do this morning! Now I can! Hahaha! I'm loving it now!
One thing about these cars is that they have to have a full charge on the battery... Also when you have to recharge a dead battery or if you ever have to remove the battery positive cable, you have to reset the security system or the car won't start... Its a fun process... They did list it in the owners Manuel though!
Absolutely spectacular! I loved the collaboration!! This was one heck of a diag.... but in the end you guys prevailed! I'm jealous of you Oz, got that awesome Pulsar! Great tool! Big hugs guys! 🤗🤗
Refreshing to watch someone who actually knows how to diagnose and troubleshoot a circuit! How many times do we see people just throwing parts at the car? And the wire across the fuse? WOW! Not only were they lucky the car didn’t catch fire but what a great way to fry computers and other expensive components! Kudos for an awesome video!
It's a discontinued tool made by ipatools.com. They are working on a new version of the tool that afai doesn't yet have a release date. Keith from new level auto has some awesome videos using it as well. The new version is rumored to be digital instead of analog and have some sort of bluetooth to it? I'm excited to see it.
I have the snap on Solus pro as well.mines slow because I haven't registered it but it's ancient lol i Bought it in 2012 when I graduated from UTI Houston. Ive Been watching you and OZ content and hope to learn the diagnostics side from yall. You guys are the best diagnosticians I've seen.
I really needed this main video I'm having similar problems same car.... yall helped I want more with this car & the electrical shortages please !!! Thanks awsome
Tag team videos always entertain well! The interaction, discussion, and SHARED thought processes really help the viewer to understand what's going on! Nice video guys!
You guys crack me up lol Oz eating ships sitting down on the job 😂 great job guys this was an awesome video and good teaching of how a component can be short to ground. Nice job.

I have a 2005 Lincoln LS..3.9 v8...having trouble with transmission..sometimes won't reverse..other times it will...(shudders)...really love the car...would hate to get rid of it...any advice??
Thank you I do have a question to can you guys explain to me how that test works when you hook up the test light and you’ll find out it was a short to ground I’m not sure how that works yet can you explain that to me how do you hook up the test light thank you👀🌿
Good video ... speaking of fuses ... Mr. Weber has an interesting video comparing cheap online fuses to OEM quality fuses.... Be informed and be aware "Automotive Fuse Comparison with a Milli-Ohm Meter"
I got a 06 LS V8. I have a similar problem, sitting in my driveway for almost two years. No crank or click, just lights in the dash. Could it be I need to replace the starter?
I need assistance with my 2004 Lincoln ls v6 similar issues, but it runs well, the alarm randomly comes on, the approach light stays on, had to take fuse out,
I agree. Nice video. You got really lucky with the maf being the cause. Luckily it wasn’t one of the solenoids or the harness Inside the transmission. Good find. Good thought process. Nicely done! What kind of maf will u get? Used? Reman? New Oem? New China?
Eric you two guys are the best. Saw that horrible fix on a Paul Danners premium video. What are people thinking. YIKES👍 good video can you let us know if it fixed the problem.
I need to know if I change my fuel filter on my 2002 Lincoln LS v8 and it still runs for a little while and then shuts off I crank it back up it runs then idols down then shuts off! What could be the next problem
Maybe you guys could help me. I have the same thing that happened to my car. No start and warnings. Cant connect to the ecu with scanner. Checked all the fuses with a multimeter and none are blown. Not sure where to go from here. Thanks in advance!
