@@TheRenderingEssentials i have heard that ies lights are now supported in vision just like vray fur. What could be the reason ies lights aren't showing in vision? You discussed fur and that problem is solved but ies are still missing in vision that are showing in normal vray.
hey there, just love your videos about vray sketchup. I also render with vray vision but some of my scene always got like black pixelated blurry thing on the material. any solution? thanks !
Thanks Justin! Excellent concise and detailed delivery as always! I've noticed some mentions of Enscape in the comment section and comparisons of the 2 programs. I too think Vray (not vray vision) image renders are the best available, but Enscape's ability to export interactive panorama links for clients is incredible. Do you know if assets imported from Vray and Enscape libraries are compatible? If I wanted to have the realistic quality of Vray still renders with the perks and convenience of Enscape panoramas, would I need to build models twice, trying to get assets from 2 different libraries to look the same, or would the objects, colors and textures be compatible? Thanks!
Is there any advantage if we use Vray Vision instead of another real time rendering engine like Enscape or Twinmotion? Is there anything that makes Vray Vision better?
enscape quality looks better than vision. So as long as u have enscape u won't bother with vision much. The actual vray quality however is better than enscape. So u can do still images with vray and animations or realtime with enscape (some extra work will be required to make the model enscape ready). Or if u have rtx graphics card, try chaos vantage. That is better than enscape, quality-wise, for realtime. Vision is relevant when you don't have enscape. With the latest update vray vision now supports fur and IES lights. That will make it's quality better and maybe with some practice you could achieve desirable results with vision too. But it is not as good as the actual vray. Even vantage is not as good, but close.
@@robertbradshaw1880 you could get a student license for enscape, if you are a student. For vray i guess buying is the only option. Getting these softwares for free is illegal and you could get in trouble depending on the laws prevalent in your country, dear. But you could try to write to them and get a student license if possible.
@@robertbradshaw1880 really? I didn't know that. Now that you tell me i remember one of my cousins living in pensylvania told me she has the latest Autocad version which she downloaded for free from some website called get into my pc or something like that. I told her to be careful as it might be illegal. But it turns out it isn't, after all 😄 good for you guys!
@@TheRenderingEssentials He has a point, he means that if a good twinmotion user can get realistic results or good results with just realtime functionality, a option to render it in path tracing will make the output perfect . But vray's vision has less options and its more like a lookdev thing or for fast presentations. But twinmotion will have more high quality fast presentations and also extra quality by path tracing if needed. In other words, developing a perfect path tracer is easier than having a perfect developed real time engine.
The problem with vray right now is so many really good features in vray but no UI this old ui needs to change and take a better look it's just janky when u compare it to something like enscape . I mean I love vray sooo much but ui can be 100 times better instead of that they are increasing the feature set which becomes unusable sometimes ...
I would definitely like to see some UI improvements, especially when it comes to things like loading maps, HDRI's, etc. That said, I don't agree that they need to do this at the expense of increasing the featureset. Realtime in my opinion is just going to be more and more important - if they didn't start developing this I think they'd be behind.
One of the reasons (not the main reason) I dont use VRAY much, the icons and UI is always the same.. I didnt use enscape, but Lumions UI is the best for me
@@TheRenderingEssentials He said the look not the features and I kind of agree although it may have been because you were just using a basic model for the tutorial and not optimizing for photo realistic output. You have used both so what is your opinion on one versus the other? It seems obvious that vray is trying to go after enscape feature wise by directly copying it's functionality such as the grass naming conventions etc. It seemed like everything you showed is already done and in just about the same way enscape does things.
Hi everyone! Let me know if you've tried Vray Vision yet in the comments below! :)
Hi sir, just want to ask a question. Is it possible if i install vray and enscape on my sketchup pro 2021 at the same time?
thanks man that is very helpful, can you do a Detailed Tutorial on Chaos Vantage.
Justin, thanks man. You are the best. I wish you had discussed ies light support in vision too, though.
What exactly would you have liked for me to talk about? Don't you just import them like any other lights?

great video thank you so much! Is V-Ray vision only available on Vray 5? I have V-ray 4 I couldn't find it.
Man I wish I saw this before my thesis project
Thank you for sharing! It's a great tutorial...
Hi Justin, would you mind sharing the source of your 3D house model for follow through

been a long time vray user but have switched over to thea render cause of the speed and user experience...you should do a tutorial for it.
Thanks for this Vision intro.

HI. What is the version of Vray? (Scatter objects)
how do you compare between vray vision and enscape?
Useful detailed video. Thanks
Glad it was helpful!

Render gpu with vray vision how i can do it
kudos Skp just got beasty best
my vray vision button cant be turned on why is that so?
tnx !
someone please help me why my vray vision not responding ??!!!!
Justin, is this real time rendering experience same as unreal engine?
Well no because they're totally different programs
Yeah it's more just like a viewer u can almost edit nothing inside it u have to do everything in SketchUp ...
Pc specs please.
vray needs to realize that having a real time rendering will not offset the difference with twinmotion after twinmotion developed the path tracing.
I mean...Vray had path tracing first...right? So I'm not sure what you're getting at here

just kidding man .. love ur videos ,,,,,

Too late for vray. Enscape is so much better in terms of time efficiency
