Community college couldn't even help me understand these problems better than I do now. I feel more confident now to take my exam tomorrow. Thank you for making this most helpful tutorial video. You have no idea how much more better i finally get math now.
I LOVE LOVE LOVE YOU!!!! Thank you for thoroughly explaining everything and being so clear and consistent. I wish I would of watched this a few months ago. But regardless I am glad I watched it now --I feel so ready for this exam. :) Thank you again. xoxo God Bless you and I hope you keep on teaching!
Thanks! We are so glad you enjoyed the videos. Don't forget we also have a great NES Study Guide available on our website at www.mometrix.com/studyguides/nes.

She is so thorough and makes things so understandable. I am on Khan Academy and some of it is confusing me. I failed the math/science exam twice (barely failed by 2 points) and I need to retrake the third time and pass to do student teaching. I think I am going to do well!
This is amazing! I just skimmed the video for now, but will watch this in its entirety over and over before my test. My only gripe is that when you do graphing equations, or you do geology, you work the problems out, but you don’t have the picture of the graphs or figures, you just work out the problem. Having those figures would help. This is still amazing and it’s very helpful. I suck at math. This is the only test I have left to pass, and I keep failing. :( once I pass this final test, I can student teach for my English degree :)
We are glad you enjoyed the video. If you'd like a more complete NES review, check out our study guide at www.mometrix.com/studyguides/nesinc.
i watch this video in 2021 .. madam You are the best Teacher
This seems way simpler than the test I took. Oregon’s 304 test feels like a 452 test

you are an excellent teacher, in question #9, you sort of breezed through sq root of 625...what technique do you suggest for finding sq root of 625?
For more information on square roots, here is another video from the Mometrix Academy: www.mometrix.com/academy/square-root-and-perfect-square/. Hope this helps.
do you have a video for the math basic skills test
We offer thousands of free videos on our Mometrix Academy. You can search our entire library by either test name or topic at www.mometrix.com/academy.
On the 15th problem, it could be 6, or it could also be -6 since you're taking the square root.
In this problem, the only answer choices are 4, 5, 6, and 7, so you would choose answer C which is 6. If you'd like more NES review, check out our study guide at www.mometrix.com/studyguides/nesinc.
On question #13 why did she switch the inequality? It was answer d. You switch when the variable has the negative sign, not the number. Am I right?
When you multiply or divide an inequality by a negative number, the inequality sign flips direction.
Is this for math 304? or middle school math?
It could probably be useful for both, but it is chosen especially for Math 304.
@@MometrixTestPrep Exactly, the test I took was WAY more complex than this
These videos could also be used to help people who cant get to sleep ?
why multiply by 3?
Can you please tell us where in the video you have a question? We'd be happy to try to help.
I had the same question on number 14. They multiplied by 3 to the top equation because they wanted to cancel out the 6x in both equations to begin the process to solve for Y. Essentially they needed to get rid of the x term because with an unknown variable it is impossible to solve for other variables. Hope that helps!
why only 25 questions? the test on Minnesota has 45

Im here because I failed my test.
Which test did you take Yenni? Was it the NES 304? I need to take the NES 304 and if that test is anything like the video above, I shouldn't have a problem.
I thought the answer in question no. 6 is choice b - 61. Why because you are subtracting -3 from -64 and not adding. The rule is subtraction of integers is keep the -64 and change - to + operation and the -3 becomes 3 so -64+ (+3)=-61.
