The silliness was so great. Oh I miss the days when I used to go dancing every weekend. My preeminent dance partner for the past 30 years keeps whining to me that it would hurt too much. We both had our backs blow out years ago but to me it's pain worth suffering through because of what dancing does for the spirit of heart. I walk daily 3 to 5 miles listening to music and dance quite much of that time. I'm sure people driving by give looks of comical confusion because they don't hear the music I'm hearing and they are definitely not feeling what I feel. Without music the walks wouldn't mean as much. Dancing offers freedom of spirit allowing us to soar above life's stress.

When my back was bad, I could keep it from seizing up if I could go dancing 3 x week. My PT said that was a bad idea and not to go till she told me I could. 4 days later, she worked on me for an hour and couldn’t work it lose. She told me to go dancing before I returned.

Just imagine the joy you are spreading to those fortunate souls who get to see you randomly dancing along to your music 😊😊😊 Keep dancing!! It keeps you young, even if it hurts-Especially if it hurts!! It keeps you limber, it keeps you fit, it keeps you soaring through the music, and it keeps you joyful!!! Unfortunately, the man I married does not dance- his only fault (that and snoring)- but that's ok. I dance enough for the both of us. Keep dancing, Sir, keep smiling, and keep sprinkling your JOY. Thank you for the smiles this morning!! I wish you and your dance partner much love and many more happy years together! 💝💕

This Jack & Jill was a wonderful find for me! I truly enjoyed watching all these amazing dancers and was pleasantly surprised to see Robert Royston putting on his best dancing, acting, he’s the entire fun, happy ,upbeat, complete dancing package ! I used to take his classes whenever I could, especially workshops and I have missed dancing so very much! All of you wonderful dancers in made me happy for a while today! 😊 watching brought back happy dance memories of going out dancing knowing other dancers would be there to, I miss the learning more and more dances, learning everything I could, going to workshops, competitions , etc. It’s been way too long, maybe too late. These dancers are pros and that is why they can connect and follow leads so perfectly and the men, their thinking ahead, dancing and leading abilities- just perfect. It’s hard to follow each man’s leads as some feel so different than others, and these pros know how to showcase their lady as well as let themselves shine. I wish I was still young and my husband at the time would have started lessons with me like I did his hobbies with him. I’m not sure how I found this video either but I’d love to see more and more! With all bad things out in the world watching these pros dance makes most people happy! We need more happy!😊

I was 13 to 15 years old we became very close he is the only man I have ever been able to dance with that I didn't lead. My late husband and I danced. By it was very hard because I always tried t
Lead which I know is wrong. butPepsi some way kept me from leading. He left without telling me. But after my aunt died they found letters from him to me telling me when he got back. He would look me up. But I married at 16 know what happened to him

@@lilliancornett9135 No, I don’t. I was only 15 to 17. All I wanted to do was Dance. We were not allowed to date the Young men. A buss picked us up at our school, and then Delivered us to our Front door. I personally never dated any of them until I graduated.
I did date a Very Fine Young gentleman from Randolph Air Force Base in San Antonio. He was, by far, except for my Husband, the Most respectful young man, that I dated. When he got back from Germany on a tour, I was already engaged to my husband. Him and four other young men, always stayed at my house when they came into town. My parents had built me a bedroom and bath at the back of the home. To get to that bedroom you had to go through my little brothers bedroom. So they had two bedrooms and a bath all their own. It beat going to Galveston and sleeping on the beach. My little brother would sleep on the couch and I would sleep with my mother, my father worked-overseas. When they came in from their dates, which was usually Saturday morning, mother would cook for them and also cook a big dinner.
Lillian coronet, That was a long about way telling you that no, I do not know what happened to the young man. I’m 84 going on 85, and I enjoy telling my stories. I will tell you that the gentleman from Randolph Air Force Base did come back and my husband, we were engaged, took me to see him, at Prince’s drive-in, which wasn’t too far from my home, as he had called me on the phone, to Tell me he was there and they wanted to come by the house and probably stay there. This all happened in the summer of 1955 and my husband and I were married on December 31, 1955. We were married for 63 years and raised for wonderful children before he passed and I could not have asked God for a Greater life. We were truly blessed. I still am. I’m living in an assisted living facility and Winter Park Florida. Yes they took this Texan out of Texas, but they can’t take TEXAS OUT OF ME. I’m NATIVE BORN.
I pray I didn’t bore you. God Bless Mary

Do it - start NOW, in your home, solo if you live alone. Look for dances you can go to at community centers and dance studios. You can find dance tutorials of ALL types online. I've danced MANY 'genres' - from ballet to Balinese to flamenco to African. Some local restaurant/ bars offer lessons earlier than when people come to dance: country/western; salsa; etc . Found weekly swing dance at a local community center. In recent months am inspired by UA-cam videos to learn SHUFFLE DANCING - check that out; there are many tutorials. USE YOUR BODY WHILE YOU HAVE IT 🥰

I have read a lot of these comments and one of the biggest questions was how can the dancers dance so well together when they haven't even practiced together. I have danced (not this well) but with many partners and I understand how they do it but I couldn't explain it. To me it's more like a feeling that you get to get the rhythm with your partner. I have to give you the utmost complement!!! You described it right on the money! Like a jam session!! Start out getting the feel of your partner or the other players then if you know and love what you do it turns out beautifully!! Again thank you! If people were confused you explained it very well!!

That is the most fun I had in a long time, dancing in my kitchen all by myself. My love was dancing when I was young, Parents were ballroom dancers, but hard to find partners in my generation. I am 63 yrs. and now painfully disabled, but worth every pain to dance with you all for the length of this video. Keep it up as long as you can, nothing is more beautiful and enjoyable. Mrs. Meade, you go Girl.

Can’t stop smiling just watching this, I even heard myself go “woo!” at some point 😂 Gotta say first and fourth couples were my favourites, but there was something special about the first bloke, the cool was just dripping off him. Ana the snappy back bend things from the last lady, wow! And the blonde lady’s low low turns! There are some pretty original and gorgeous moves here, such personality in it from everybody, I almost expected a moonwalk to appear. (I thought I was just joking and then it happened! And it must be hard to follow what the leader is deciding on, and also to be the leader as he’s kind of choreographing as they go. Amazing. I adore dancing where the man gets as much focus as the woman. How about those unexpected lifts for Melissa Etheridge!

Amazing to watch. Dance is the universal language of happiness, exercise and just plain get over the blues in your life move.. Even if you don't know how to dance just move the body to the rhythm in your heart. It is jubilation that knows no limits to the happiness that is hidden within. No need to go to a class just move to the rhythm within. Celebrate life.
