This PanAm series is getting published VERY late and sporadically lol! It's been fun reliving some of my best days on two wheels while editing these videos. Whats your favorite road in Colorado? Bonus points if it's unpaved because I want to hear ALL about it!!
Watching these camping videos really want to make me step out of my comfort zone and try motorcycle camping. Looks like fun and a real learning curve. Keep them coming Staci!
@@silveriojohanhaha well my voice is the same in all of my videos no matter the motorcycle being ridden. Luckily ADV content is here to stay, it’ll be sprinkled in with all the other stuff!
Thanks for stopping in at the Basecamp of the Rockies, Gunnison CO! We have 3000+ miles of forest road and BLM road in our county, and the adventure and beauty are REAL. Come back and ride with us. You can sample some of the roads on GunniMoto.
I love your vids Staci! Great film quality, great sound, great voiceover and beautiful music, and even a history lesson or two. 😊 They could be two hours long and still be interesting and entertaining. I always smile and have a great time watching, and i also get hungry 😉 Just keep up the great work! Much love from Norway! 💖😊
I am thrilled to find your channel. One of the few times I appreciate UA-cam’s algorithm. This video made me happier than most only because I am always happy for people to discover Black Canyon of the Gunnison. My family had lived in OK most of my life so spent a good deal of time in CO because it’s close. We had been all over the state but I had NEVER heard of Black Canyon of the Gunnison. I did a geology field camp in southern CO and we spent 7-10 days driving the whole state and studying the geology. Holy cow!!! So many beautiful places to see but Black Canyon was jaw dropping and I couldn’t believe them (and still can’t) that I had never heard of it. THANK YOU for introducing these wonderful places to a group of people who will appreciate them up close. P. S. I could not stop myself. The reason the Black Canyon is so deep and steep is because the water cuts through metamorphic rock, which is much more resistant to weathering than sedimentary or igneous rock. 😂
What a great job you did on this episode. I'm going to be taking that road this summer on my cross country series. You are really producing quality shows right now, lady! Way to go!!! Stay safe, sweetie and enjoy the ride. 😊
Loved the Black Canyon NP and that campground is a hidden gem. Had the whole place to myself! Couldn’t believe something that amazing was empty. The (short) walk in is totally worth it. And the ride down to it is great. Definitely the best time of year to ride CO. The 92 is a good one.
The scenery of the views you filmed is just beautiful. I sure hope that one day I'm able to ride there and experience that area of the country. Well done!
Spent a couple of says at Black Canyon four or five years ago, coming from the Springs. Had a rental Street Glide and took it down into the canyon. Park Ranger thought I was crazy since it’s so steep. 😂. Thanks for helping me relive that trip!
Awesome video, so great to hear you narrate, no one does it like you. Your breakfast and dinner looked so good. The views were spectacular for sure. Thank you for sharing 😊
The Black Canyon of The Gunnison is one of those places that once it gets in your blood, you can ride it over and over again and never see the same things twice! Traveling up the dirt road is what we call, "Earning Your Turns!" as the road to the bottom and back up again is one of the better kept secret roads around my back yard. Thanks, Staci so much for visiting and really showing off our little corner of the world! Check out Grand Mesa some time, Cedaredge and the rest of my backyard! Wicked awesome video!
Great video - thanks for introducing me to this national park. Been by it many times but never stopped in. On my list now. Ride safe and keep the cool content coming!
Just amazing scenery! So glad you used a drone to capture some of beautiful countryside! I’m just amazed at the tasty food you cook at your campsite, you cook better than I do at home! 😂 Absolutely wonderful videos and certainly makes want to get out and travel some of these places!
Great video, wish I had seen this before finishing my ride through Colorado 10 days ago. While traveling on Hwy 50 eastward, I pass through Gunnison, had a minor engine light issue while going over Monarch Pass and stayed the night in Canon City before stopping in at Outpost HD in Pueblo for an oil change. Will have to re-visit later in October.
Man o man I love your videos and your camping breakfast made me soooo hangry lol i love that you wear the gear and do not chit chat the entire time on the road but dub in comments perfectly timed. A great example of moto vlogging... I am a bit too old to take on the pan american but have friends that love them. Keep up the great work!
Milk Stout for the win! I love that you're reliving these moments and putting the videos together so long after the fact. It inspires me to do the same. I am so behind in my editing that I gave up on the projects. I haven't posted a full-length video in almost a year and I miss it. I'm going to blow the dust off those projects. Great work and those views are amazing!
Totally get it! I have over a dozen videos to edit that are over a year old at this point. It was hard to deal with originally, as my OCD insists things get posted in chronological order. But I've slowly began to realize that most people are okay with seeing things later rather than never. Blow that dust off!!! :)
@@ridetofood Thanks for that, Staci! Glad I'm not the only one. OCD + ADD + Perfectionsim = No Complete Projects for me. I'll get out the chisel and start chipping away! ✌️
So happy to see this going up. You told me at AdvFest23 that you had some good stuff to post and it doesn't disappoint! Mario's is a favorite and I lived in the town where Left Hand makes that Milk Stout. Good stuff as usual! Thanks Staci!

I’d rather buy one new and have a warranty + not have the anxiety of wondering why someone sold it. Worked in dealerships for many years and saw many nightmare used motorcycles come in on trade. Most people do not take care of their bikes the way they should 🤣 Anyway - can’t afford one right now so I’ll own one when I can!

Words from an old man: enjoyed the peace and solitude on your motorcycle and a country road. At this time of your life, a time to learn… “When you look out of your eyes, at nature happening out there, you’re looking at you. That’s the real you. The you that goes on of its self. ”A Conversation with Myself Alan Watts…… Now that I am in the sun set of my life. The place I go to for solace is my motorcycle on a sunny day down a country road. I flew out to Colorado and rented a Jeep and drove Last Dollar Road a couple of years ago. Amazing drive. What month/days were you there that you filmed this? The snow capped peaks and aspens with full color look absolutely amazing and I’d like to plan my next trip at the right time to be able to see all this. When I went it was mid July so it wasn’t this pretty. Other areas with cool off road trails you should check out is Grand Mesa, also in that general area.
