Poor Sister Benita, juggling all those patients and scrambling for beds, doctors, trolleys - everything. She looks so tired but is still cheerful.
In the US, hospitals pull 24 hour shifts.
😊😊😊
@@AshleySpeaks4U That's madness 😢 In no way can anyone be fully alert after being on their feet working 24 hours straight. Which is when and why mistakes happen.
do they have an assistant medical director in that emergency department? they need to hire one if not, and also call in the medical director to start seeing patients if they aren't already in the hospital
Yeah that’s normal for an an and r sister !! What’s your point ?
A beacon for the world our NHS xxxxx
My left lung collapsed when I was 12, I was use to asthma attacks but that was whole new level of pain especially in my chest and back. Now almost 40 and it I can still imagine the pain
idk how these nurses can keep their mental health strong. cause I'd be squeamish and probably faint or cry etc.
im sure being squeamish and faint-y is the least of emotions, imagine the guilt, anxiety, depression, and sheer existentialism these people face every day. These people truly are heroes who face some of the worst aspects of human life, every day, and still come home and be a mother, son, daughter, uncle, father, etc.
To some degree, it's a self selecting group. People who are drawn to medicine are generally people who aren't very squeamish. Plus they eventually get used to seeing it after a bit
in jan 5th 2023 i was rushed in hospital stepping hill in stockport and i was in resus then hd unit then in for 5 weeks my oxygen was crashing they contacted my hubby to come back and say good by i wasnt going to be ressusated and 15 hours later i woke up i was in 6 weeks i lost use in rightleg nerve dammage the nusrses and doctors were amazing but the admin just dont talk to each other i was disharged and a week later they rung my hubby and said your wife is being discharged he said which wife they said what do you meen he said well my wife is sat hear in her chair bin home a week so say no more but nurses and docks were amazing ty
"Longstanding joint problems." Fantastic unintentional pun.

A asthma attack is nothing to mess around with 😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮
I haven’t seen any new episodes. I really miss this show.
Good evening everyone ❤️🙂⚘️🏥.
The opening montage seems to have the melody of Heart of Gold by Force & Styles underlying it, which is kind of random...
The Doctor is nice 😊
Dalton is so cute ❤
Sure hope his asthma is being controlled I have it it's a lifestyle changer for sure
why do they do the blood gass test in the wrisrt it realy fecking hurts they put it in and wiggle it round i go to they ventalation unit every 6 months and they do it in the ear lobe you dont even feel it
Omg yes they do I've have em I suffer from asthma and COPD n CHF it's Painful just watching 🤢 I remember that pain
He should have a nebulizer at home, to get the good meds fast.
I worked for ophthalmologists for years and emergency doctors never worked on anyone’s eyes. They would send them to our offices, day or night, to be seen. If it was really bad our doctors were on call for the hospitals. I’m just a bit surprised she messed with that guys eye.
We never sent patients to the doctor’s office in the middle of the night. We have called them into the ER prn.
@@CathieWhitlock I said that our doctors were on call to the hospitals. But if the patient’s eyes weren’t very bad, they were sent to our offices. One guy was hit in the eye with a baseball bat and he was sent to our office from the hospital. That’s the type of injury that would be sent to us. If it was a car accident the doctor would go to the hospital.
Yeah they don’t need they have done emergency medicine specialisation they are experts and almost whole their life to be a doctor if you how to be one so you shut up
What is the difference between a sister and a nurse? Aren’t they both nurses?
And a registrar, consultant and doctor. Aren’t they all doctors?
They are all doctors but a consultant is the expert and senior.A registrar is studying to be a consultant
@@lyndapet1 thanks for replying 👍🙏🏼
A sister is a senior nurse that also has like management responsibilities. A consultant is the most senior doctor, registrars are also senior but not expert level yet
It's it just the massive wait? Why are these young adults just discharging themselves only to end up back in the A&E, is making me crazy. They are so impatient.
If you go AMA ( against medical advice) your insurance might not pay for your hospital visit.
@@CathieWhitlock In the UK one does not pay for medical service.
What is does “A & E” stand for ?
Accident and emergency
Really difficult to hear and understand a lot of the conversation.
Why do they call the nurses sister?
Nursing in the UK started with religious sisters (nuns, first in the Roman Catholic and then in the Anglican church), who started and ran charities and hospitals. They've kept the names for a certain role, I believe supervisory.
Sisters are the ones that run the department as a supervisor in the UK 🇬🇧.
I also have ehlers danlos and POTS. Just took a fall in March and am still recovering. ❤️🩹
Best wishes.
Feel better soon💖
I’m so sorry dear!! Hope you get well soon ❤️ (I have POTS which has caused me a few tumbles, but, very thankfully not Ehlers Danlos.)
@@hollymiranda0826 thank you, hope you are getting along ok with POTS during the summer. And thanks to the others for well wishes 🥰🫶🏽
Hope your doing well ✌️♥️ from usa
Dalton is young and not smart . People die from asthma attacks.
Ich bin schwerhörend. Daher leider zu leise für mich.... schade😢
Can you put on close captions?
Tea trolly??
Benita has no business touching that man’s injured eye!
