- This video showcases Sonic Adventure 2 with harder boss Fights. So far the Egg Golem and the Biolizard boss fights are revamped. There's also a new level layout for Final Rush.

They do be looking a bit more chaotic than usual that's for sure
I absolutely LOVE Shadow's animations in this mod.
Also see the modder has adopted sega's habit of putting speed up shoes in the most unusable places.
Hoppy gave me these bosses and the Final Chase mod when I said I was bored in my discord.. lol thanks! Pretty cool mods overall, SA2 bosses are kinda jank even originally so adding in some (kinda jank) extra obstables is a fun time. Really like how the biolizard has some extra objects to attack when you want to.

@DryParatroopa I kinda forgot there were stages there I haven't completed, I know I did most the speed stages, think I got the mech stages and some treasure hunting ones left.
@@sonicovertimeThe last batch was Final Rush, Wild Canyon, Prison Lane, Cosmic Wall, Dry Lagoon, and White Jungle. Have you done those? There's not a video on them, at least.

Biolizard hurts my soul. I'm so used to using the invisible wall to control my speed while making the orbs easy to dodge, take that away and I'm crying.
The Final Chase one is actually spectacular
This doesn't feel like "Bosses but harder" but moreso "Bosses with extra objects to make it easier."
I make it look abit easier, as I memorized every object layout in the biolizard. For example I had to memorize that the spring launch is after the 3rd spike on the opposite side of the invincibility or the rocket only works a short time after hitting the switches.. This took about an hour though to get the run. It's moreso different I suppose but I definitely wouldn't say it's easier by any means. Besides Egg Golem that actually might be easier, but it was kind of easy to begin with. (again it's just kinda different but the mod name is brutal bosses. xD)
The Biolizard is already a pain in the ass
Oooh Sonic Adventure 2 got new bosses but harder! Awesome gameplay!
As an SA2 player, I can confirm that these boss battles is for veteran players.
Note: I liked my own comment, there has to be a balance between things.
These actually look Easier
Biolizard no (as it's literally the same with added spikes) and the extra paths are really tricky to get down actually, that part of the video took me about an hour. but the egg golem kind of. If you got the spike pattern down it's actually probably easier. You do lose in One hit though.

my first instinct looking at the harder egg golem is to light speed attack the head when he headbutts
That was my initial thought as well, but sometimes it would be a little tricky as it would hit the neck behind it and go down. (since in the og you start from the bottom and go up.) It's doable but a spin dash kind of seems like the easier option.
Final chase doesnt look harder, it looks more annoying.
The rest are okay i guess, just kind of eh. There's a reason the boss design is so good for these games and the added difficulty isn't synonymous with "improvement"

I did it to reset the audio processing. If I didn't die there wouldn't have been any voice clips. mods life
