If there was a time machine only I had access to return to my childhood yrs when such cartoons, toys and life experiences wow I would whole heartedly love it.
As late as 1990 you could still buy Thundercats action figures in stores in original packaging at original prices. They are very hard to come by these days in original packaging and are very expensive if you find any
December 1985 was a memorable Christmas for my brother and me. Thunder cats was the theme that year and we got 80% of those figures including vehicles.Even the female characters. The attention to design and detail was a fresh change from He-man toys. Every character was crafted perfectly. Blast from memory lane!! Thank you Michael for an amazing video!
Love your history of videos. They are so well done. From showing the classic toys, the research you do, your narration voice, your humor, the video clips you include, the little crossovers here and there, just quality work!
I just found this channel was searching for bar arcades and saw your video of a bar arcade called pin up arcade bar. Really enjoyed that video . Gave me memories playing at Fun Land Arcade in the early 90s on Yonge Street in Toronto.
This was so good had to watch twice! Excellent work on the editing with Toon clips N the Tcats commercial break inserts during youtube ads was coolest most unique edit ever made. hahaha hahaha bad ass!
21:43 Boy, The tongueasourous. That boxart too. What anime was the guy who drew this watching?! Although, glad it happened to that piece of human filth.
I so wish we got skytomb and all the lunatacks and how about the rat star? Or that robotic hachiemon? It seems the launatacks always get left out of the fun
Nice review! These were forbidden fruit as a kid, my Mom’s “nothing demonic” stance on toys extended to Thundercats via Mumra. These were extraordinary looking toy back in the 80s and hold up today. I’m impressed that the eyes still light up. Galoob: “G” is for “Quality”
Man, I am with you on the Mandora thing. One of the best characters (AND vehicles) on the show, and should have had a toy. I always wanted Chilla from the Lunataks, too. There were some badass women on Thundercats! I'm hoping Super 7 will right these wrongs, after all these years.
Yeah Mandora was awesome, she was kinda like a female mix of a kid friendly version of Judge Dredd & a full human version of RoboCop. And yes, I know Judge Dredd's design was the inspiration for RoboCop's design, mostly the helmet. She should definitely have gotten her own toy too & her bike as a vehicle accessory as well! I could definitely see Mandora in her own spinoff, but make it more gritty like a story you would see in the sci-fi/fantasy magazine Heavy Metal.
Did the bad guys always unite against the Thundercats or were there some 3 way battles in some episodes where two different bad guys fought each other and the cats?
How is thunder cats related to masters of the universe or are they I always see stuff with the two together or is it just collecter that enjoys both I'm confused I always liked the but was to busy buying hemans lol
How did you type that?
@@ryanangelastro504 It's one of the custom emojis for channel members.
Hooooooooooooo!!!
These figures were almost art. Beautifully done
Editing in this video is top notch! Had me cracking up
The overall design of this toyline was pretty unique. The vehicles and action features made these villains stand out from the rest.
Haha, I loved seeing Safari Joe get his comeuppance.
That's why your toy retrospectives are the best.
Okay, let's add Mandora to the list of badass females of the 80's who didn't get a toy, e.g J. B McBride, Arcee and Crystal Kane just to name a few.

I remember distinctly several Luna Lasher being on the clearance shelf at the Zellers at Cloverdale Mall in Etobicoke well into the 90s

The mail in mum ra was my first and last experience with mail in proofs of purchase. I’m still happy about it 35 + years later
Sucks that Mandora didn't get a figure. She was one cool space cop. Sucks that the Lunatacks were screwed too.
Let's hope Super 7 gets around to making them someday.

That's my favourite cartoon my generation the thundercats love the animated series from 85,to 88, the era a classic cartoon retro.
Driller on card is currently going for $3800 on Ebay.
Great video, the villians look so good, well designed characters. I really enjoyed watching this video. You're so awesome and you rock Michael.
I used to have my he-man figures fight with my thundercats and villians. Nice review and nice collection
Borrowing Mumra's fortress to transform Prince Adam and Hotrod is pure gold, man! Only us 80's kids are that meta with toy lines we grew up with. 😂
I Love Mumra....
"Give me the might.

8pm here in Perth. Cup of tea. In front of the heater. Good timing Michael!
Awesome video, Michael! I had no idea there was such a variety of Thundercats characters. That post-apocalyptic Third Earth was a rich place!
Great video Michael. The villains had a great lineup in this series 👍
"Safari Joe does it again!"
Even as a kid I thought the Mumm-ra figure looked like Mike Tyson.
All excellent

The fist pounder I had that when I was a kid and if I would had known what I know how I would still had that
Great video. Brings back good memories
Thanks, glad you enjoyed it.
Superb vid once again Sir✊ Remember the episode "Jakalman's Rebellion " when he enlisted Molemaster & Driller? Pure Classic~ Much Obliged
Agree with you about Mandora. Why no figure of Willa (or Nayda) either? So many appearances
First time seeing this video and loved it all !!!
Great Video!
Amazing collection 🥰🥰

Great video my friend. I loved how chunky the toy of SSlithe was. He was the real chunky monkey not Monkian!!! Love to you and Luana.

Haha, and "Fun!"
Slithe was one of the few toys to survive my childhood, until my own kids broke him. Only Hun-Gurrr is left now.
enjoying these "Hitory of's" as usual!
I subscribed because of the Dusty Rhodes reference. Jim Cornette is taking preorders for the first and only Midnight Express action figure boxed set.

Those toys are the cat’s a””. Quotes in case the kids are watching!

There's a 100% COMPLETE Mamutt on Ebay for 230$ plus 10$ shipping. Sounds good to me.
Damn this guys channel is memory lane.

@@MichaelMercy that is completely fine sir, thank you so much for your response
Is it just me or does the Tongue-a-Saurus’ roar the same as rodan’s from the godzilla series?
@21:48
Was there a Driller action figure as well?
20:46
Where do you find all these retro toys. I had a lot of them but lacked the foresight to keep them
I don't anymore. These were all bought 10 years ago before vintage toys got expensive. They used to be old junk nobody wanted anymore.
How many hours of viewing did it take to get those screen bites ?
Well, everybody loves goats.
Evil mutants 🆚 thunder cats
Why does Mumm-Ra remind me Aku? XD
Thundercats! HOOOOOOO!!!!!
Old school toys are better than today toys like what the f..
