1) She gets drafted by the Indiana Fever, and doesn't sign
2) she takes the Big3 deal, and plays out the contract
3) She then signs with the Indiana Fever for the final 10-15 ish games of the WNBA season.
It's like a 1989 David Robinson Delay, and 1995 Michael Jordan Return, wrapped up into one moment.
And, if she leads them to the playoffs, even better.

Online 2 games interfere with the wnba season. She can get an exemption for prior basketball commitment for those 2 fames. Similar to what girls get who come back late from playing overseas. Plus its an Olympic year. If any year is ideal to do it its this year.

Clark’s brand and endorsement deals are already in motion; State Farm, Nike, Gatorade, Textile company in Iowa, and many others. She is already generating 7 figures, and she has not yet played one professional game yet, so what is Draymond talking about??. I tell you one fact, she is a bigger attraction than he is, that we know for sure.
He’s saying that the cash grab here would ruin her brand. If you don’t care what happens to her brand in the future because she’s already set for life with the money coming in right now, then go right ahead. Otherwise, if you care about your brand’s longevity, then you should fire your manager for pursuing a shortsighted deal. Draymond makes exactly that point.

You're right that she will still continue to get money through her brands but if Caitlyn gets dominated by old washed up vets, at least that's what the Internet calls them, the perception of her will change. Now not by actual hoop enthusiasts that know she's great but by people not that attuned to basketball, women's basketball in particular. Caitlyn's whole appeal to those types of fans is that she is just as good as the men. They say she can shoot like Curry. And so bc of that many of these fans are now starting to watch women's basketball at least in some capacity. And you need these fans to continue to watch in order to grow the women's game.
But if she goes to the BIG 3 and gets humiliated sure most real basketball fans, the one's who like both the men's and women's game, won't care but the casuals may take it as that she was actually never that good and so then go back to not having an interest in the women's game.

WNBA players are super skilled, but the physicality just makes it next to impossible to compete with men. That’s not a knock on players like her, she’s legit! But it’s weird how much people suggest mixing men’s and women’s basketball.
