Your channel is one of my favourite true life channels. Had such an impact on me that I no longer talk to my mom, it was the video about the boy getting raped in the forest and burnt alive. By a miracle sent by Allah/God the kid survived and died later as a adult. This video brought out my inner suppressed rage and pain. I cried and dribbled in rage and pain, I felt to die, destroy the world, resentment towards my child abuser, rapist, torturer and his pedophile buddies who watched me being raped and tortured, each one smothering me with a pillow until I passed out, making me touch my toes, drowning me over and over, I was literally in and out of madness without knowing it. But at times my inner madness would reveal itself. So many times I tried to commit sucide, didnt work out. Was going to kill my mom while she slept with a massive Rambo knife which was super heavy for my 10 year old hands. I still feel disgusted with myself that I was watching my mom sleep, watching her body rise up and down as she breathed. I stood their what seemed like forever observing my mom, Thinking I'm a bastard you brought into this world without a father, raped taken advantage of by a filthy pedophile homosexual who had a girlfriend. But to me any male who sexually rapes another male is a homosexual. I am muslim now since 2009. My God saved me from becoming a monster. Because I wanted some serious payback. Suppressing my rage subconsciously without realising it, led to many random rage moments. Some how I never killed anyone but hurting a lot of people in those moments. Was getting out of hand. Found myself in front of judges a few times. My cousin told me I have been crazy since we were kids, and the only reason why I became a muslim later in life was because I was batshit crazy. He was wrong about me becoming a muslim because of being batshit crazy. Hardly trust anyone. I kinda resent my mom for giving birth to me. Not feeling good about saying that. But I feel that you are decent individual I can let it out too. I thank Allah/God I am not in a insane asylum or locked up, I love people and the world. But in reality their is a whole lot of fuckery that face plants back to reality. That's why I love your channel. You bring that reality free from BS delusions candy
Neither does a broken jaw, strangulation, or the concision (he did hit her until she passed out several times). And those are the injuries mentioned. Wouldn't be surprised if there were a few more broken bones and internal bleeding since the bed broke from the attack. Even giving him THE MOST GENEROUS scenario possible, he shouldn't be considered a human being.
No you don't understand his defense he "fell on her head and popped her eyes out" like for real I thought I couldn't find dumber lawyers than the one from Amber Heard
@@Axairu I think that just shows how little the lawyer had to work with when the only alternative explanation is that the assault was actually more like an episode of Happy Tree Friends.
Thing is not only did she allow this to happen when she took him back and lied to the cops but she also put her kids in danger.. what kind of mother does that.. yes it is said but I don't feel sorry for her.. how about if he would have done something to her kids instead . They would be the victims.. she was not..
How he was even let out of prison the FIRST TIME he brutally assaulted someone by stomping on there head causing them brain damage is a big indicator how screwed up the justice system is
Aw but he seemed to "grow up". Poor guy just needs some counselling for his anger issues. She even lied to police and social workers to protect him, so he must be a good guy really.
@@toidIllorTAmI Congress? This is in the UK, not the US. And situations such as this are not atypical in that country. In any event this would not have been a federal crime in the US so Congress would have nothing to do with it. It’s a matter that is the purview of the individual states. And you may rest assured that had he damaged someones brain in say Texas, Florida or Alabama he would not have been treated with such kid gloves.
I have listened to so much true crime over the years, it takes a lot to get a visceral reaction to a case nowadays. This is the first case that made me feel ill in a long time
@@katieh8186 I've watched stuff about that one. It's fucked, but what's more fucked is after l learned that one I found like two other cases where the women died the same way
You literally took the words right out of my mouth. I became physically ill and extremely nauseous hearing how horribly he tortured her. It’s absolutely horrific. That hasn’t happened to me in a very long time. I just can’t even imagine what she must have gone through- and still does to this day.
This is the only case I’ve ever sat through that I felt physically sick just listening to. How anyone could gouge someone else’s eyes out and still call it “their fault” is beyond me.
Yep, my stomach was churning, holding my face and eyes while listening to it. I have sat through thousands of crime docos and this one was traumatic for sure
Pretty sure that's one of the traits of a psychopath, they see it's their victims fault so they are the innocent one. A lot of it is down to the mental health of (in this case Shane) the one carrying out the act. Yes he was evil from one point of view, but from his own POV he was right.
When a friend tells you to stay away from a guy because he's violent, stay away. People with known history of DV don't change, if anything they get even worse. No one can change a violent and twisted person. I'm not even surprised by the sentence-6 years for beating and gouging her eyes out smh. This is the UK with the very lenient sentence. He made sure she will suffer for the rest of her life, I think that warrants a long sentence. The same with acid burn victims, the monsters who did it to them were only given 10 years. A lifetime of suffering and scars and the punishment is a measly decade. He will be released and do this again to another woman.
Very true, for the most part. Abusers usually have serious mental problems of their own, and in most cases the abuser will refuse to acknowledge them. There _are_ abusers who eventually _do_ realize they have an issue and get help, but they are often few and far between. I'm usually not a fan of overextended prison sentences for first time offenders, but since he was definitely a repeat case and he shows absolutely no sign of remorse, it should have been more harsh for the safety of the public.
I don't think people who say these type of things actually know how abuse works. Its a strange situation were the door was open and you are willing to go but you don't because you been through so much and you just want to be happy. God himself could of came down and told Tina to leave that man alone. She chose not to. As an adult you have to understand what choices are. Tina chose to statement as she was blinded she still told shane that she loved him. Its a horrible state of affairs when abuse is introduced to a relationship. I'm just glad she survived. She is truly a strong lady
Umm the US Justice system is bad but the UK and Canadian Justice system is absolutely atrocious. UK will let murderers out in 10-12 years and Canadas most notorious case for me is the one where the released a guy after 2-4 years who decapitated and ate pieces of someone on a bus.
@@griffiththechad9483 dude I can't believe you looked at the country that has more people imprisoned than the rest of the world put together and also legally uses said prisoners as slaves and can think that's better
The scariest thing to me is that he kept telling her she did this to herself. This man literally feels he is not at fault bc she angered him. That disconnect when people cannot acknowledge their behavior or wrong doing is terrifying to me
She got a life sentence, and all he gets is “life” with parole after 6 years? Disgusting. No remorse, no empathy. Pure evil, psychopathic, and he will damage or kill again. Bless her for her strength and strong soul.
Our sentencing is pathetic!!! 6 years means that until he is released, she will have to endure the stress of reliving that horrendous event again & again, every couple of years! Testifying at parole hearings is so much more than 1 day. Most victims stress & panic for MANY months, writing & rewriting their impact statements. Parole boards have already decided what they are going to do. Victim statements make little to no real difference. It’s just cruel!! 🤬
Over here in USA I am as lib as they come but I am also grossed out by UK and EU sentencing. I could rant and rave about cultural differences , quora has plenty of article covering it. What I will finish saying is they POS should have gotten attempted murder, and over here that can be 25 years. Torture is another crime. Its like they are afraid to put people in prison for violence in UK/EU.
Yep, I’m a Brit and it’s pathetic! He will end up killing someone for sure. I heard there is a new register for abusive partners, I hope this is the case but if so he’ll probably change his identity and find a way around it. His sentence is a joke, I’m for rehabilitation but some people are just too dangerous.
Oh god, this is definitely a gruesome case. I'd say it's one of the more disturbing cases you've covered. People who destroy someone's eyes while they're alive is absolutely monstrous. There are some stuff worse than death and this is one of them. 13:50 "I'm not the evil person that everyone has made out, I'm actually very chilled," He will hurt more people if he's let out because he doesn't even take responsibility for what happened. Maybe I'm just cruel but he doesn't deserve a chance for parole, he doesn't deserve the death penalty either, he deserves to have his eyes gouged out and spend the rest of his life in jail.
Yeah, right!? That line really gives me the chills and reminds me of every abuser I have ever met. They are always the good guy and it's always the woman's fault. I'm sorry but no, only pure evil presents itself like that
Yeah, I feel you on both this case and the eyes thing, that's always bothered me too. This video was a particularly difficult one to get through, there's something even worse about this one. The complete lack of remorse and justification is terrifying, and he just seems to love hurting people. This guy is a violent psychopath that will be out on the streets too soon. Okay, time to go watch an hour of funny cat videos.
Bluetiger, sweetie u are not being cruel by any means. This parasite deserves to stay in prison for the rest of his worthless life. He is a huge threat to society. He is right where he belongs. The nerve of this scumbag to tell her, it was all her fault is the cowards way out. U are absolutely right, one of the inmates should gouge his eyes out of his head, and then some. He is a perfect example of a coward, and a worthless pc of 💩. Have a great day Bluetiger, & God Bless.
It would be fitting but then again an eye transplant means just the cornea, once the globe is rutured and especially in injuries that Tina suffered, there is nothing that can be done to restore her sight. He’s a monster!
The part of her vomiting and dedicating on herself broke me...that's what animals do under extreme stress and to know a human being did this was absolutely heart shattering. This entire situation is terrible...please take red flags very seriously. What a disaster... Shane..and his lawyer deserve nothing but pure hell.
Stop being childish. So annoying when people say that. It’s their job! I’m sure majority of them don’t like these people they have to represent, but they have to feed themselves and their families.
These abusive an brutal crimes get pathetic sentences here in the U.K., and I for one am sick of it. Stamped on a man’s head!!!! That’s psycho red flags from the start. What he did to Tina is beyond cruel, like acid attacks. He can’t be rehabilitated, leave him inside to rot.
@Circle 28 He got a minimum sentence of 6 years, for a full sentence of life in prison. This simply means the prisoner can apply for parole starting 6 years into the sentence, but unless parole is granted he'll be in for life
@@mistythemischievous2013 slap on the wrist life sentence!….after 6 years could start applying for parole if “it’s” been a good boy in prison. British law can be very unfair, complicated and expensive…. If I was Tina’s family member and “it” ever got released I’d have to see a minimum of the same damage done to “it” and no doubt end up doing more time in prison! Fubar!
The fact that he was granted a minimun of 6 years in prison with a chance of another appeal afterwards is disgusting. This monster should never be let out in society ever again.
Maybe they did that just to mess with him every time he's eligible for parole. Make him feel that his freedom is right before him before snatching it away in one fell swoop.
Anyone who does such a horrific act to someone should have the exact same done to them they should be forced to walk in the shoes of their victim to make them realise the despicable crime they have committed.
Right!? How the hell can you have your eyes gouged out from a fall!?!? You would have to have a hell of a messed up house to have that happen. Even then, how about the broken jaw and other injuries?
@@change4better326 i grew up in a dv household upto the age 10 its not as black and white as some ppl think. Ppl in a dv relationship aren't just physically abused but mentally to the point and in some cases s*xually to. Victims make excuses for their abusers actions and blame themselves to the point they become dependent on the abuser. Some reach their limit and walk away from their abuser, sometimes the abuser finds a new victim to control and leave the previous one and unfortunately some are killed and another thing its not just adult females that are abused in dv relationships adult men are to which is mostly by female partners
The *ONLY reason I made it out of the DV fight with my ex-husband* was to say "I'm sorry, this is all my fault"..it of course was not my fault BUT me saying that stopped him..as soon as he turned around I ran for the door, and fortunately my big gruffy next door neighbor came to my aide..5yrs with this man and he treated me like a princess..then he just snapped in the last 2 months of our marriage..the point is, SAY WHATEVER YOU HAVE TO SAY to stop the fight..then when it calms down, RUN!!!! I did divorce my ex-husband..as soon as my neighbor showed up I called guy family members to come sit with me as he packed his stuff up at that very moment..I knew I could never trick him like that again..I never let him set foot in our house again..I got VERY lucky..I can't believe I made it out alive that night..this is the very short version of those events..for whatever it's worth, I wanted to share..say what you have to say, even if it's not true..then get out and *NEVER go back!!*
Agree with you. Best thing is to play along, plan your escape and just f-ing escape without telling him, like when he´s at work. Had a friend who did that in 2015, she arranged a flat in secret, he went to work and she pretended to do the same. As she watched him leave she went back and awaited the moving company she had ordered, took her stuff and jyst left. Blocked him on EVERY media, changed nr and went under the earth for about 2 years. SHe managed to escape in one piece.
you'd be surprised at just how manipulative abusers can be. she also may have been thinking of how difficult leaving would have been on the kids being that she'd already left many other men in their lifetime. plus who knows how scared she was of what he would have done to her and the kids if she left. I'm so proud of her for continuing to fight through what happened to her. shes a very strong woman.
Technically that is not the job of a lawyer. The U.S. justice system and especially its Hollywood version make it look like the attorney and prosecutor play this verbal tug of war over the accused's fate, but in reality the attorney is to make sure that if their client is innocent, that they be declared so and if their client is guilty, then they be given a punishment not more severe than deserved by their actions.
Defense lawyer don't blame the victim. They usually just want to get their client a good an d fair plea deal. And also I think criminal justice is very important

People who stomp on someone's head should never be free in society again. This guy was a monster to so many people and just got away with it. He should never be on the streets again, there will be more victims because he blames everyone but himself.
I’ve stomped guys faces in fights before, but only because the fight wasn’t over yet. I would never hit or kick someone when they’re already unconscious. That’s just evil 😈

She actually got another partner after that and that partner abused her as well. I read online that she suffers from serious p.t.s.d and is very afraid of new relationships. To have suffered that and than to have another abusive partner after losing her eyes just totally pissed me off. I think she's better off staying single.
this case is insane because 1) she was literally directly warned about him after he had already smashed someones skull and 2) in the states he would have fried in the chair for his crimes but they're treating him like a troubled teen
The US has the highest levels of re offending rates and highest prison populations in the world, so there justice system is not the standard to go by, it's literally statistically the worst

Something about Eye violence is particularly gruesome for me. It's one thing to hear stories of disembowlment or dismemberment but a whole 'nother thing when it comes to eye torture. Its the only thing that causes my stomach to do flips.
It is of course revolting to loose one's eyes to senseless violence Not only would the result look gruesome, but also imagine never be able to see again.
Yeah it's very uncomfortable to listen to stories like this. I never want to be the victim of a predator, never ignore warning signs, give no excuse for predatory behavior..
I think eye violence is so hard to listen to is because firstly, it could happen to you. Secondly, once it's happened that's it. No going back. You're now blind. And on top of that, it's to do with the fact that eyes are all squidgy. Here's a fact. The only part of a human body that's the same size from birth to death, is the eye. It doesn't/can't grow. That's probably why kittens and puppies look so cute. They've got a little head but big ol' eyes. But anyway, this geezer who blinded her, is a total bastard.
I found myself whispering things like "holy fuck" "what the actual fuck" to myself watching this. This is one of the very rare examples of a case so disturbing that it's caused me to writhe around in absolute terror. I wanted to scream when you described Tina's "runny nose". I feel so incredibly fortunate after watching this. My ex husband tried to do the same thing to me in 1984. He came home drunk and picked a fight. He outweighed me by more than 100 lbs. He got me on my back with his knees on my arms so I couldn't fight back & started trying to strangle me. I pretended to pass out, evidently not very well, because he started screaming, "You aren't unconscious!" and dug his fingers in the corners of my eyes. I came unwound and managed to get him off me. Thank God a neighbor had heard him screaming at me earlier & called the police. They started pounding on the door about the time I got out from under him. They wouldn't arrest him because they didn't see him do it, even though the whole front of my shirt was bloody & (I found out later when I saw a mirror) my head looked like a volleyball. They did give me a ride to my sister's house, but as I followed them to the car, I heard one of them say, "The stupid c**t will probably be back with him by tomorrow." People suck. That wouldn't be good for people who have been falsely accused. It does happen unfortunately. A woman may say a man is violent because she wants the kids to herself or because it will entitle her to more money in a divorce. Case in point: Amber Heard. A victims statement carries a lot of weight in court, if she were unable to admit she were lying, other evidence wouldn't hold up against her statement

Even more insane is that the sadistic monster who did this to her got such an infuriatingly light sentence. Why does someone always have to die before a psycho has a chance at getting the deserved sentence?
I was eating a banana while watching this too. Luckily tho I finished eating it before that part of the video. This is one of those cases that make your stomach turn!
They gave him life with a minimum of 6 years and he was recently denied parole so hopefully there’s a chance they will keep denying his requests for parole and be kept in prison for life.
@@spectersz3395 It's frightening who we can get involved with and how he had her constantly forgiving him. I expect she was afraid of him as well. I'd like to read her book. I don't know if she lives locally anymore but I do hope she has a good life with her children. I hope he never gets out. He'll never change.
Never has one of your videos made me feel physically ill. When you mentioned the nerves coming out the nose I felt like actually vomiting. That man is the definition of evil. The only people punishment for him is torture, no life sentence or death sentence is enough. Typically I play video games while watching UA-cam, like your videos. I actually had to put my controller down and just sit there due to how absolutely disturbing this story is. Jesus fucking Christ.
"..Shane had accidentally fallen on Tina, causing her eyes to gouge out." The defence team wasn't just evil for taking the side of a violent psychopath, they're even that super dumb for using cartoon logic to excuse the monster from his heinous crime.

Won't it be possible for defender lawyers to review the case first before rejecting or accepting the client? Or do they just have to agree on whichever defendant they were assigned to so they have to come up with anything insane but somehow still "convincing" enough to prove their client isn't in the wrong, even if it involves a plaintiff's severe injuries that couldn't be easily caused by an accident?

Just gonna go out on a limb here and say that gouging out a persons eyes when they were previously asleep and no threat to you is kind of the thing an evil person would do, I literally found this story's article while trying to find out information on eye gouging for a villain i'm writing
this story is so sick, i cannot imagine the strength tina festered. goodluck with your writing, i know this is an old comment, but i love seeing other writers doing research!
i've been binging your videos for a few days now and this is the first case where i genuinely felt myself wincing. this is so hard to listen to especially as a young woman getting into relationships and meeting new people. more people should listen to these as some cautionary tales.
Okay, you did it! True crime veteran here and for the first time ever, I had to stop listening. Apparently I have a tolerance limit and you helped me discover it 😬
I’ve been watching, reading, and listening to true crime for a long time. Absolutely nothing I have come across thus far has created the absolute terror and illness I felt with this case. I normally use random true crime videos as background noise as I drift to sleep, as I was literally doing with this one. But omfg I cannot. I feel so horrible for that poor woman. The description of the eyes and the nerves… *shudder* just wow.
When I was 19 I was in a relationship with a guy who didn't have a job but had a lot of money, if you understand, and one night we had a bunch of people over. Someone asked if this guy "Buff" could come by. I said I don't know who that is. At least 4 or 5 of the guys said they knew him, good guy, vouched for him. I said fine. He showed up and the reason for his nickname was immediately obvious. This was not an ironic name like a fat guy called Tiny. He was buff. He was extremely polite to me, like formal, which was a bit weird. My twin was at the party came up to me and said he was kind of weirding her out. Kept being a bit too invasive and pushy about her dating status and stuff. I said I'd keep an eye on him. A little bit later, I watched her take a circuitous route to my bedroom, like she was trying to disappear. I watched him follow her. I was already up and moving by the time he made it to my bedroom door. I watched him just open it without even knocking. I moved faster. By the time I got to the now closed door and opened it, he had her in the middle of the room, hand wrapped around her bicep, and was shaking her like a ragdoll. I was obviously already really upset so I just flipped the fkk out. I shouted at him to get his fkking hands off her. He let go and had his hands up, saying I was misunderstanding what was happening, and they were just talking. My sister took the opportunity to run out of the room. I lost it on him. I was berating him and insulting him as I followed him out the door. Now, my bedroom door and my bathroom were at the hall near the door, so no one else really saw this all go down, they heard me shouting and some of the guys came, but I was just kicking this guy out to them. They didn't understand what he'd done. Which was be a disgusting, creepy, violent piece of shit. Anyway, a few days later I was coming back to my building and saw three or four girls in the entrance, I knew everyone in my building. They were there for me or possibly one other guy on my floor. They were standing there, as the phone rang, but no one answered. I wanted to go in but I wasn't going to open the door for them. I asked why they were there. The one girl said that "some sluts" had sex with her boyfriend and they were there to fight them or some shit. I was like.. Um you're at the wrong building. There's no one here like that. They were actually really nice to me. They left. I went in. Saw all the missed calls. They were there for me? Turns out that guy had gone around saying he had sex with my sister and I at the same time. When he really assaulted my sister. Omg dude. He fkked with the wrong one. I basically ruined his entire reputation in the area and because I'd met his girl (who was his baby mom too) and she liked me, I told her the truth and she believed me, she said he'd put his hands on her too. He ended up leaving to the other side of the country. He was arrested for running a hijacking scheme. He'd flag down cars on the highway pretending to need help, and then he'd beat the drivers up, rob them, and steal their car. Guy was a real piece of shit. He died in a car accident out there when he got out of prison. Well deserved death. Years after I last saw him, I heard his name be brought up from a guy from my city. Buff. They were talking about how he was dead. I said that guy was a piece of shit. He said the first time he met the guy, it was after I had a hand in destroying his reputation, he was involved in some chop or something, guy went to meet him at one of the seediest motels in the area. He went in and Buff was smoking crack while a girl gave him head. Didn't stop. It was like he set it up so the guy would come in to see it. He said it was fkking weird shit and he was immediately ready to gtfo. Buff asked him if he wanted to use the girl. He said uh fkk no and left. Piece of shit. No question. Guy had no respect for women at all. I did notice retrospectively that when I initially heard his name, it was only men who vouched for him being a good guy, he reserved his depravity and violence for women. Piece. Of. Shit. This guy in this story is cut from the same cloth.
You just described my ex to a fucking tee. Down to the smoking c4ack getting head asking dude if he wants in (im not even lying) he's in jail tho not dead yet
Oh my god, this video was hard to get through. Eye stuff is especially hard to listen to, my eyes hurt just thinking about it. I hope her and her children are doing alright. I can't imagine how fucked up my mental state would be if I found out that that had happened to my mom. Especially if I saw it with my own eyes.
As sick as these criminals that you cover are; I love when you have stories of victims surviving. It’s rare, but it gives me hope that pos people like shane can be put on blast for what they really are. Maybe with this story we can save someone else. True crime might be a distraction for some people; but it’s more than that for me.
I will never understand how the courts always seem to find a way to let these people go just for them to continuously repeat the same things that got them locked up to begin with. Only to ALWAYS end with someone losing their life at their hands. Disgusting
I shuddered hearing the "your eyes are hanging out if your skull" part but I almost gasped hearing about pulling her own nerves. Such a gross and horrible injury inflicted on her for absolutely no reason
I have a friend, who is the victim of domestic abuse. She left him several times, but once he switches from maniac to maniac with the thinnest sheen of apologetic, she takes him back. Over and over again. Most others have dropped her, but shows like these have taught me, that you cannot let the abuser win. It is all part of the game to isolate the victim. Always keep a hand extended. Try to build up the victim's self-esteem. Keep regular contact and check if the person is overdue. It is very frustrating, but the human mind is so fragile... Edit: Did he notice how ironic his "chilled"-comment is? The events are chilling, he is an ice-cold freak.
@@quin7046 With him again, after briefly wanting to kick him out for cheating again, but then she couldn't do it, because he was so "distraught" thinking the other woman "baby-trapped" him. My partner grew up with a violent alcoholic father and hated that he nearly turned into him. Tina is such a beautiful woman. Listening to this story had my stomach churning because I've had one of my eyeballs pop out of its socket due to a bacterial infection, but just knowing how terrifying and painful it is makes my heart go out to Tina. Losing vision in one eye had a profound effect on me; I can't imagine losing my vision at the hands of a partner I'd invested that much time into. My thoughts and prayers go out to Tina and her children!
Can I ask you something? What was the last thing you saw before you lost your vision? My ex boyfriend used to jam both his thumbs into my eyes and I would see what I called “the bright white spiders.” I believe it was bright white flashes of veins I was seeing from the physical pressure on the backs of my eyes. Did you see anything like this in the eye that popped out? Terribly sorry to hear this happened to you.
This case is sometimes mentioned in conjunction with Kelly Ann Bates' because they both feature similar injuries and abusive partners, but I've never actually heard a video detailing Tina's story. Its amazing that she survived, she is no doubt a very strong woman. Its hard to listen to but its important to spread awareness.
The absolute terror this women must’ve had knowing that she was trapped in there with this monster, can’t see, and her kids are in the house when all of this is happening! Not knowing if he’s gonna hurt the kids next and not being able to see anything is absolute horror. I hope he rots in jail and I hope this women has a long happy life with her children ❤
Important relationship advice: wait at least a year before moving in with someone or considering them a serious committed romantic partner. Even if you’re in love now, you DON’T know what they’re really like until after the initial buzz and infatuation of love is over.
Honestly, at the rate this stuff happens, I'm scared to be in a relationship with anyone, ever, at all. To the point my relationship advice might as well be "don't even fucking bother with it, or if you do be in a position where you can leave at any time, and never tie yourself together with them by merging accounts, signing a joint loan, or marrying. The odds any given relationship will be abusive is just... way too high."
Yeah just be cautious ladies, AKA if you are dumb enough to get into a relationship with a guy you know is violent good fucking luck idiot have fun acting like all men are horrible after what's gonna happen.
I feel worse for her knowing he can apply to get out after 6 years. Shes blind living in fear knowing a nutcase can get his freedom that quickly. I don't have to guess where hes going to go when hes out. He was still blaming her while sitting in jail.
I think why this case hits especially harder than anything else most of us have ever heard, is because we’re hearing every, gruesome, torturous detail she went through- coming directly from her, the victim. So she is able to describe everything in its horrific detail. Whereas most times unfortunately, the victim has usually been murdered, so they can’t speak for themselves. But even so, this one takes the cake- gouging someone’s eyes out is absolutely medieval- brutal. And then being strangled nearly to death so you can’t even scream because your voice box is so damaged.. Jesus Christ.. And she lived through that for HOURS on end before getting any type of medical treatment. What a survivor. I wish her and her kids the absolute best in life. She deserves it.
My god what an horrific case. This poor woman and her children. After what this animal did to her, he should never be allowed to walk the streets again. Sending love and light to Tina and her children ♥️
I’ve never heard of this case, what a truly terrifying act of DV. Shocking that he even has the opportunity to apply for parole. Should be life for a life .
Let me guess, she went back to him right? Visits him every week in prison? I don’t feel sorry for women who choose to have this kind of man in their lives, especially when they have children, it sucks what he did, and he’s exactly where he belongs, but she needs to be in a psychiatric hospital to, to figure out why she went back again and again, and again to the situation.
Though Tina made the terrible mistake of staying with Shane. Even after his actions were proven to be Psychopathic & Sociopathic. Did nothing to deserve this, its insane to think all the excruciating pain that Tina went through.. Was all because she Voiced her thoughts of what could potentially happen to her children involving CPS..
No, it was because she dared to defy or question the actions of a violent sociopathic control freak. What action she was questioning was irrelevant, as he was prepared to go to that extreme whenever she next displeased him.
Not the terrible mistake of staying with him. She made the terrible CHOICE to get with him to begin with. And of course , has him all up in her house, with her babies (and I'm guessing that was right away too). I really hope she has learned some stuff from this, cuz she had extremely poor judgment!
Tina is so incredibly strong. I couldn’t even begin to imagine the pain. I hope her and her kids are doing okay and that the pos that did that to her never sees the outside of his cell ever again
I hope someone out there in the world has the courage to do to Shane what everyone knows needs to be done. Do it slowly. But first things first. Take his eyes. Ears. Tongue. Nose. Leave him with one sense. That sense is pain.
Leave his eyes for a while so he can see himself being disfigured in the mirror, then remind him he'll never look like the Shane people see in pictures. And all the time reminding him this is his fault he's going through this, every day. I'd take a long time to let this one end because of all the victims he's left to die.
I absolutely PROMISE if I ever end up with a life sentence in the same correctional facility I will make it happen. I cannot forget this case the rest of my life and I’m the rare person with the stubbornness, boldness, and ferocity to actually do it. Granted, it’s highly unlikely I’ll ever be in prison but my vow remains steadfast...
I have never heard of this case. I cannot imagine the pain and fear Tina felt at this psychopath's hands. I am utterly speechless. That man should pay for what he did for the rest of his miserable life.
Man, without a glass eye she has to actively keep the one eye shut. Which doesn’t just happen naturally. You have to consciously do it. That’s such a strain. Honestly I will never be able to understand how some people are able to endure the amount of excrutiatimg pain she was in. God, before my root canals when I had 2 broken molars and two others that needed root canals as well, the amount of untreatable pain I was in legitimately made me consider just dying to make it stop.
Yeah, I was like that with a burn once. I was literally on fire for a bit. And 24 hours later it still felt like I was on fire. Agony. If someone had offered me a gun I'd have taken it and topped myself to get away from the pain.
When somebody tells you not to have anything to do with someone, believe them. These aren't people who can be changed. How they are now, is how they will always be, even if they suck you in with being loving at the beginning of a 'relationship'. Don't ever think that you can be the one who will change them. No one will ever change them.
I'm a firm believer that there should be an evaluation of people like this. If during the evaluation, the crimes committed are of a certain severity and there is no doubt about who did it, the accused should not get the privilege of having their rights protected. In order to have human rights, you should be required to actually act like one.

I don’t think ripping out someone’s eyes counts as “self defense” Absolute monster of a man, may he forever rot

@@jameswrappner4624 dude. Same. The part when she pulled out her optical nerves on accident 😱

God himself could of came down and told Tina to leave that man alone. She chose not to. As an adult you have to understand what choices are. Umm the US Justice system is bad but the UK and Canadian Justice system is absolutely atrocious. UK will let murderers out in 10-12 years and Canadas most notorious case for me is the one where the released a guy after 2-4 years who decapitated and ate pieces of someone on a bus.

They should remove his eyes so he spends his entire sentence blind and alone.
How does life= 6 years? Should be at least 50 years.
I heard there is a new register for abusive partners, I hope this is the case but
if so he’ll probably change his identity and find a way around it.
I'm sorry but no, only pure evil presents itself like that
Yes, this one just hits different 🥺
Yeah, I feel you on both this case and the eyes thing, that's always bothered me too. This video was a particularly difficult one to get through, there's something even worse about this one. Why does someone always have to die before a psycho has a chance at getting the deserved sentence?
I was eating a banana while watching this too. Luckily tho I finished eating it before that part of the video. This is one of those cases that make your stomach turn!
I was eating as well, I felt nauseous.
They gave him life with a minimum of 6 years and he was recently denied parole so hopefully there’s a chance they will keep denying his requests for parole and be kept in prison for life.
@@williepearl278 Let's hope they deny for as long as possible, yeah :c

Never before has a video in this series made me feel physically sick!
I remember this at the time. Locally everyone was horrified. There is some crime around but nothing on this level. It was sickening.
same. i feel like im gonna vomit
@@spectersz3395 It's frightening who we can get involved with and how he had her constantly forgiving him. I expect she was afraid of him as well. I'd like to read her book. I don't know if she lives locally anymore but I do hope she has a good life with her children. I hope he never gets out. He'll never change.
Especially her pulling on her optic nerves… made me feel like gagging. Poor girl
@@AJ_1namillion It must of really played with her head, waking up to being in that horrendous condition. He's just heartless. Bless her.
This story made me so nauseous. The human capacity for cruelty is never ending, it seems. I hope Tina finds peace and contentment someday.
Same! I actually thought I’d throw up and was about to turn it off

Right there with you. I was so very close to throwing up.

Unfortunately this video is worse
Its traumatic
That Chris and Channon case was probably the actual worst one for me, this one following.
"..Shane had accidentally fallen on Tina, causing her eyes to gouge out."
The defence team wasn't just evil for taking the side of a violent psychopath, they're even that super dumb for using cartoon logic to excuse the monster from his heinous crime.
@Bass Player it’s 6 years minimum, he was recently denied parole and I assume that’ll continue. Hopefully he will stay in prison for life
@@harrietxo2310 This is the UK Parole board we're talking about here. Just keep an eye out for him in a few years, when he's rehoused under a new ID somewhere in the country! I'm sure we haven't heard the last of this fella!
Some lawyers have to take cases if they’re defenders. Maybe they deliberately cocked it up
Won't it be possible for defender lawyers to review the case first before rejecting or accepting the client? Or do they just have to agree on whichever defendant they were assigned to so they have to come up with anything insane but somehow still "convincing" enough to prove their client isn't in the wrong, even if it involves a plaintiff's severe injuries that couldn't be easily caused by an accident?
@@GlassesnMouthplates its a job lol cant just decide u dnt like a case and not take it and that mentality is counterproductive because its folks there accused of worse who maybe innocent but some know it all lawyer refused the case because of how they felt about said charges….
I'm a simple man. I see a new Case Almost Too Gruesome to Mention, I click. Never disappoints.
I’ve heard a lot of true crime storys in my life, but this one almost made me cry, specially knowing how is it to be in an abusive relationship ..
Wow. Great job, Sister!
You just described my ex to a fucking tee. Down to the smoking c4ack getting head asking dude if he wants in (im not even lying) he's in jail tho not dead yet
Your a real one!!!
Thanks for telling your story......what a great sister you are.....👍
Your a great guy but u said "piece of shit" so many times in this story 💀😂
Oh my god, this video was hard to get through. Eye stuff is especially hard to listen to, my eyes hurt just thinking about it. I hope her and her children are doing alright. I can't imagine how fucked up my mental state would be if I found out that that had happened to my mom. Especially if I saw it with my own eyes.
Yeah I could hardly get through it
Eye stuff is the worst 😞😞😞
What did your God have to do with it?
yeah literally. my whole body feels weird now 💔 and i keep closing my eyes cause that’s how much this case bothers me. i feel so bad for her omg 💔
@reddfvgu6016 your parents are brother and sister
As sick as these criminals that you cover are; I love when you have stories of victims surviving. It’s rare, but it gives me hope that pos people like shane can be put on blast for what they really are. Maybe with this story we can save someone else. True crime might be a distraction for some people; but it’s more than that for me.
I will never understand how the courts always seem to find a way to let these people go just for them to continuously repeat the same things that got them locked up to begin with. Only to ALWAYS end with someone losing their life at their hands. Disgusting
So called human rights and leftism thats why.
I shuddered hearing the "your eyes are hanging out if your skull" part but I almost gasped hearing about pulling her own nerves. Such a gross and horrible injury inflicted on her for absolutely no reason
i am completely desensitized to this genre but this story.. this actually brought tears to my eyes
@Reddf Vgu i think u need english lessons & a psych ward
How is your friend now?
@@quin7046 With him again, after briefly wanting to kick him out for cheating again, but then she couldn't do it, because he was so "distraught" thinking the other woman "baby-trapped" him. Apparently, the other woman having cheated on him, while he was cheating on my friend is somehow pitiworthy? I don't know. It is sometimes really difficult to understand.
I sometimes try to gently suggest therapy, but she has an extremely negative view on it, claiming it's just for "crazies".
@@JuMiKuBy the time they've hit you for the first time, they've shown their caring, loving, protective side and you've fallen for them. Every time they hit you, it's followed by guilt and apologies. My friends and family got sick of seeing me black and blue plus I had a heroin addiction. They turned their backs after trying really hard to get me to leave.
I'm still with him but it's been a long time since I've been abused in any way. He hates himself for any violence he used on me but I had violent tendencies as well. I can't JUST blame him. I've had stitches in my cheekbone under my eye, bruised spine, broken ribs, a patella popped out in 2 different directions etc etc and every time it's cold or rains and I'm in pain due to damage, the guilt shows in him. We've been together 30 years.
Every victim of abuse needs a friend like you, matey❤.
Edit - I've been abused in every way since young but not just by my partner. It's been a recurring issue in my life since I was little. I guess I became numb to it. Especially after drinking and using drugs at an early age. My partner grew up with a violent alcoholic father and hated that he nearly turned into him. I admit that when he, or anybody, moves their hand too quickly or stands up suddenly, I cringe and I now suffer from extreme social anxiety but I need to fix myself. I've never blamed anyone else for my downfalls.
@@nelliesilvers1210 I'm really sorry. You deserved so much better. From your comment I can see that the self-blame runs deep. You never deserved it. At best, both of you deserved help, but I kind of doubt he is still in pain to this day.

What a horrific time to go through. I can relate on a small scale. I had an abusive person in my life that left me with many lifelong injuries. None to your severity. I am so sorry you had to go through that and live with the reminder everyday. You have proven you are a survivor. You are an angel.

I'm used to gory details but this really made me squirm. Horrifying!
I listen to true crime to relax, but this almost made me puke
The absolute terror this women must’ve had knowing that she was trapped in there with this monster, can’t see, and her kids are in the house when all of this is happening! Not knowing if he’s gonna hurt the kids next and not being able to see anything is absolute horror. I hope he rots in jail and I hope this women has a long happy life with her children ❤
Out of all stories that ended up in death or dismemberment this actually disturbed me the most. I can’t even imagine this happening bro omfg
Important relationship advice: wait at least a year before moving in with someone or considering them a serious committed romantic partner. Even if you’re in love now, you DON’T know what they’re really like until after the initial buzz and infatuation of love is over.
How about not date someone IN THE FIRST PLACE who you've been warned had stomped somebody's head in and given them brain damage?!! 🤯
I think it's like... what, nine months? That it takes to get to know a person?
Another tip. A single mother is a huge red flag, especially with 2 baby daddies.
I feel worse for her knowing he can apply to get out after 6 years. Shes blind living in fear knowing a nutcase can get his freedom that quickly. I don't have to guess where hes going to go when hes out. He was still blaming her while sitting in jail.
This is the first case I’ve watched that put me into a panic attack. I’m sick and so sad for her
I can't imagine what Tina Nash goes through every 2 yrs when he's up for parole.
This is the first case you've posted that actually made me physically sick
I’m from the UK and had never heard of this. This is absolutely horrific. That man is a danger to everyone!

I’ve never heard of this case, what a truly terrifying act of DV. Shocking that he even has the opportunity to apply for parole. Should be life for a life .
As heartbreaking as it is ... to any female suffering from domestic violence, don't risk your health with these abortion leftovers.
She wasn’t suffering. She went back again and again and again. Have a think.
I listen to these stories all the time and this is the one that had me wincing and cringing. I hope he never gets out of prison.

@Jesse Lee how pathetic do you have to be to victim-blame someone who literally had their eyes ripped out? do you not have any hobbies, or a job?
I hope someone out there in the world has the courage to do to Shane what everyone knows needs to be done. Do it slowly. But first things first. Take his eyes. Ears. Tongue. Nose. Leave him with one sense. That sense is pain.
Then tell him it's his fault.
