I'm glad I found videos, we also have a 1980 version of that but looks more a-team like and not as tall, same basic layout originally until a started changing it. We love ours and put on a good 8k a summer in BC, Canada. Now saving for a fancy new motor and transmission with overdrive. Have not even used my Harley since I bought it two springs ago. I put in all solar panels and dry cell batteries, runs the ice maker, blender, radio and lights. I think I might look at a low voltage AC option if there is one out there. Thanks for the videos and will keep watching.
You bought the van! Yay! It looks great and you're doing a wonderful job with it. I can't wait to see where you go with your new wheels/home and what you film for all of us fans to see. I've been following a fairly new UA-cam channel that is taking off by leaps and bounds called Creativity RV. Robyn has TONS of great information on full-time RV life.
How long is the van? How is it trying to find street parking when in cities? How is it having the windows- for temperature control and privacy? Would you have preferred no windows? Would you have reconsidered an RV or van with better mpg?
I love the windows when I am out in nature with a good view. But I have good black-out curtains for sun and privacy. It's a challenge to park sometimes that is for sure in the city. Logging roads are my favorite and pretty easy. The mpg is a big downside. I'm considering a smaller van withe better numbers. It's 21 feet long.
Old vehicles can really do great man but people don't want to to spend any money on it. I have a 2005 chevy astro van . It may look old but it sill does its job. It is really sad to see people dumping a good car!!! Happy trails!!✌✌
cant wait to see your journey, hope you get many happy miles and smiles with your van, i'm 1/3 in on my 'new' van conversion, but finances slowing me down.....
checkout these guys...vancity van life and taylor tzaman ...another couple young fellas like you doing the van life full time ...good luck with your adventure !!!
That's awesome we have the exact same Van !!! I live in Ladysmith !! I really like mine too ! " Skāl " means cheers in Old Norse !! You should call it the Challenger !! Like the spacecraft !!
That's incredible! I've never found anyone with the same van!! And I just happen to be in Nanaimo with the van at the moment! I liked you walk around video, but would love to see what you've done with the interior if you are doing more videos.
Awesome Ride! Did you ever think of showing the videos of what you did fixing it up like tutorials? I think it is valuable knowledge to have to show people who may be thinking of the same project. Keep it up and if ever you're around Montreal QC let me.know! Safe travels!
Would be sick if ever you need parts, you can go to Kenny U-Pull (I think there is some in Ontario and Quebec) and any scrap place where you can take parts off are really awesome and great for videos! Looking forward to seeing it!
This is the 2nd video I’ve watched... the first video was this van dying and getting towed. Do you think the friend that helped you initially would be able to assist in the repairs if it’s that’s the path you’re leaning towards? Dave
think of 100+ gas as just maintenance cost, so for a apartment on wheel is hard to beat. I could have brought a apt with a ocean view, but taught hard and came to the conclusion the far away ocean is going to be no big deal in a yr. and I just be stuck here till I die. Nope. Going to build up a van to be normal it every comforts I need and more. So take your time and think your choices hard, as I promise you later you find a better way to redo it. I had to redo mine with light weight wood. And a better multi uses layout
This is now the "way of the future". Mark my words, property values will stall due to so many choosing the vanlife approach. I've been searching for something similar, and they ate NOT easy to find, are they?
The alternative living movement (including vanlife) is growing rapidly that is for sure. I agree! They are not easy to find, you are right. It's about to get a lot harder to find these.
We have a tiny campervan conversion and are in preparation to do Malaysia to UK either via China or India. Your rig is a dream to own but we lack options here in Malaysia. Growing our channel in hopes to grow the #vanlife here so eventually market opens up to have better more affordable camper options. 🌏 #GotVanWillTravel #24HourTravellers
you should have got a diesel van or swap a used diesel engine in it. Older gas engines are very fuel inefficient. Diesel engines are much more fuel efficient and a lot more reliable. No spark plugs or coils to fail in the middle of the road and the engine in general is a lot more durable
Talking of which, that's the thing that would put me off living in a van. Either going in essentially a bucket in the van or continually looking to find toilets. Invariably some right nightmares.

Hey Jeffrey, I'm definitely thinking about that. It'll be a mix of tutorials and adventure videos I think.

I love your channel!!!
Goodluck Bro 👍

Give your van the name of a mighty Roman warrior. Someone who went everywhere and conquered everything.
haha LOVE it! The name would be a lie though:( Definitely haven't been everywhere! haha
Sweet van!! Looking forward to following along on your travels :)
Hey! I'm glad you checked it out! Thanks for following along tinabeane!!
1:21 my dream view every morning 😍💗💗
Love finding those hidden gems to wake up to!

It's a pretty great set up and vehicle that's for sure! Loving it so far! Are you looking into living the van life too?
Nice
You are so underrated
Thanks Claudio, I'm glad you likes the videos!

so, Watching your videos I assume you're from the province of Alberta, however, I am trying to figure out Edmonton or Calgary?
Nicely done! I'm originally from Edmonton (where I bought the van).
Just found the same one. Is it worth it?

hey do you still have your suv?

P.s. Inspiring So Inspiring...
I'm glad you think so Gigi! Thank you!
where is the patreon?
It's at the bottom of the description:)
New subscriber here from Western PA. Looks awesome man. I would love to do that someday. Safe travels to you!
Awesome! I'm glad to hear you are liking some of my content Marc, welcome!
Is that food you are eating "Numatic Fanatic" approved?
What happened to all vanlife videos?😢😢
better than flushing your money for rent making a landlord ultra rich
That's my thinking.
You’re not flushing money, you’re getting shelter in return. If you really want to stick it to the man, buy your own real estate.
Talking of which, that's the thing that would put me off living in a van. Either going in essentially a bucket in the van or continually looking to find toilets. Invariably some right nightmares.
......notta rocket scientist......but, i figured that out already.......🙋♀️
Landlords dont get rich off of one tenant. Montage, property taxes, and hiring real-estate company to manage, is expensive.
that is not stealthy better a sprinter hightop
name her Sally, not sure why but Sally sounds good,
Love it!
Justin? More like Bus-tin. (nope, that wasn't as funny as I wanted haha)
Love it! haha
Not
Did you come out of the closet? 3:46
It's NOT Van-joo-ard. That's how you spell Vanguard, pronounced VAN-gard.
