Pressing in and towards the 1 oclock with the support hand changed the game for me. I always found the dot vertically (supposedly the hard part) but always had the dot walk left or right on my draw. Now it's just natural dot goes where I'm looking every time. Great technique.
@@cellmix1365 pressing forward on the support hand drives the firearm into the dominate hand which results in a much more consistent horizontal dot alignment. That's what I think is happening but I'm not an instructor or a pro. I find that it's usually one hand I'm being weak (not using proper technique) if the dot is not centered.
Grip is great only I prefer the left hand thumb resting against the frame and not sticking out randomly or riding the slide gives a bit more purchase on the firearm
I used to be the same, but tbh that thumb never stays there after the 3rd or 4th shot for me. All pressure is coming from the meat of my hand, not the thumb.
Scott, taking a class with you is literally a “life-goal” for me. I live in Rochester, NY. Are you able to tell me if/when you have a class anywhere close to me?! I’m REALLY hoping there’s something I can make in 2024… 🙌🏻
Eric B. & Raklm; yes sir!
I gotta give this...2 thumbs up 👍
Is there a larger video to learn from?

How does this technique help with the horizontal alignment of the dot if i may ask

It’s a reasonable question. If you look at all of these shooters their thumb is exactly on the other side of the ejection port.
And what exactly would you recommend for left handed shooters whose high thumb will block the ejection port?
I would suggest you learn exactly where ejection happens and stop worrying about it.
Perfect aim all the time !!!
Saving up for his class now....

I'm sure he has a website where you can find out all that info.
I’ve seen Jedi reference this in a few videos. Anyone care to explain? I’d love to make it to a class but they sell out too damn fast!
Really interested in your opinion on the new line of vortex pistol optics (defender ccw/st)
It works.
