Hi Mike, Never apologise mate, you have done nothing wrong. I don't think it really matters what content you produce, once people like you for who you are, they are keen to see all aspects of your life. Your the star, not bush craft. I'll watch anything you and your Dad produce, it's all great content.

This is your 2nd channel. Thank for your unneeded explanation of the video content as of late. You see Michael there are many, many videos on UA-cam that do similar content, camping, building, woodland management, remember you are the reason why your subscribers love YOUR videos! We want to interact with you! The explanation of where you have been proves you care about others. So I, like so many others will look forward to your next videos, what ever you choose. Congrats on your move back home and your growing family. Oh……say hi to dear old Dad for us! Love from your followers here in USA! Thanxz

Three words that will resonate with all parents: Children change everything. Life happens while you're making plans, and children come first always. Time with your children is never wasted, and everything else is secondary after your family, including your viewers.
Keep being a good father and husband and son, and everything else will come as it should. Keep up the good work and good life.

I became a dad with our 1st in 2019 and it changes everything. Absolutely everything. For people with a standard 9-5 job, it's tiring, but doable. People have been doing it for a long time. There are systems in place for people with normal work hours, but youtube is an animal that always needs feeding. It really is a double-edged sword that has provided you with success and the freedom to create what you want and enjoy, but also has given birth to this animal with an insatiable hunger. I'm 32 and a dad with a wife and a mortgage. I, as well as the majority of your audience, understand and realistically think you don't have to apologize for having a life outside of youtube. Enjoy your family, enjoy the content you make, and enjoy life. Thanks again to you and your dad.

As a subscriber of less than a year, I'd like to mention that I like your new content! I subscribed just at the time you bought the woodland, and I've loved this series. Camping is great, but now that niche is no longer a niche and there are so many videos out there. But I haven't seen anyone else doing the woodland management like you are. Please don't apologize for being who you are and for evolving. I like watching because of you, and to be honest, (just for myself, I don't know about others) but I'm not interested in watching how to build another fort-type dwelling. I can go back and watch your old ones if I want to.

I'm not personally a fan of the van camping, I prefer the outdoors and the wildlife, but I don't expect you to change plans for me. I enjoy YOU. I love the way you care about the woods, about the wildlife, about your viewers. One question. Do you plan to do more collaboration with Dustin on Bushcraft Tools? Last time I saw you together you were planning a project? No apologies. This fan from Iowa, USA will remain super loyal. Peace.

I've enjoyed you since the first Bushcraft Camp and I guess I'm a "super loyal fan". I do watch, because 1) you keep things clean 2) you do fun, outside, wholesome things always with a "teaching" kind of touch. 3) your Dad comes along which increases the enjoyment! Far as I'm concerned, when you do what you're interested in, I'm 99% of the time interested too. That's why we follow. Love to your beautiful wife and your daughter and son and of course to your Dad and through him, to your Mom. Thanks for making this video, Mike.

Having only found your channel during the lock down. (I think your pallet shack/shed build or the one where you spent a night in it was one of the first videos I watched). The lack of a certain content didnt bother me as much personally. I knew you had very young children so it was kind of expected that some things would be dialled back or videos would be fewer and far between for a while.
There is honestly no need to apologise. When you have kids, they become your priority in life and everything else gets put on the back burner. Meanwhile I've been hanging out with your Dad at TAFishing. He reminds me of one of my mentors when I was much younger who introduced me to fishing.

As a dad of 4 of my own and a foster parent as well, never apologize for prioritizing your kids or family. Me and my 4 boys love watching all your videos and you've made a trove of content that is not only informative but as a dad I appreciate, kid friendly as well. Watching your videos have inspired my kids to go play more in our woods and engineer with things they find in the woods. From someone that did UA-cam stuff for a little while for my farm and the low quality I could manage to make, the effort that you put into content is extremely high and time consuming, and finding that extra time as a parent is hard. As many wise folks have said to me throughout my life you have to prioritize things according to importance: God first, Family Second, Career third... everything else as needed. Excited you have the opportunities because of making these videos and that your work is paying off. Thanks for all your hard work and knowledge sharing and I wish the best to you and your family.

I really appreciate you and the content you create for your audience. A healthy work/family balance is necessary for all of us and I’m happy you realized it before you just burned out and disappeared from UA-cam. It’s so weird how we feel we ‘know’ the people we follow when we actually don’t-and it really is none of our business about your life outside of the virtual world. But I do appreciate the update-and will follow almost no matter the content, because I have enjoyed you, your personality, your Dad, your dog, your woodland-and especially your interview with Nick. Another different and yet similar video to your original content.

Having kids changed everything you dont need to explain that buddy, we had are first when I was 35 and our second was in 2019. Since then everything is all changed, balancing work and life got more interesting.. I ended up doing a fixed shift pattern for a big yellow taxi service and weekends are mainly night shifts. Yes working nights every weekend sucks but I get to take the kids to swimming lessons ect during the week. Look forward to the series where you teach the kids bush craft
