A RARE CLASSIC - 1960 Cadillac Eldorado Brougham Restored

- This recently restored 1960 Cadillac Eldorado Brougham has its original 3 carburetor V8 engine. With many of these original 101 Cadillac Broughams either been destroyed or modified the exact number that exist today is not known. The Eldorado Brougham is custom-designed and custom-built.
It has very advanced feature of comfort, convenience, luxury and performance known to automotive science in 1960. Cadillac Air Conditioning, Cruise Control and Automatic Headlamp Control are standard equipment.
The owner, Don McCullen saw that it’s the electric sliding rear vent window that first caught my eye at the 2018 EyesOn Design Car Show in Grosse Point Shores, MI.

That is a gorgeous car and a very special Cadillac. FANTASTIC! 😀
Such a rare car! When the rear air ride suspension acts up, the rear of the car can actually lift above the center of the rear wheels!! Got to drive one many years ago and that windshield wraps up above so high, one can almost see straight up in the air! It was either the 59 or 60 brougham nicknamed the Jacqueline........
Would have liked to see more of the car and less of the faces.

I know it appears that I met the owner after I opened the door, but actually he showed me first how to operate that amazing window. I thought it would look more conversational in the video to have him "happen onto the scene." I won't do that again! Thanks for your great catch!

The owners not kidding the 59 60 eldo broughams are among the hardest most expensive classics of the 50s and early 60s to restore slot of lead and chrome work involved with these cars I love em along with the 57 and 58 broughams
Sadly from 2030 on all combustion cars including classics will be banned
from public streets in entire EU and Scandinavia :-( In Germany the
Green Peoples Party gave order to shorten fuel supply from 2025
on by reducing all conventional fuel stations to only one state operated central gas
station per city or county. Now they want to slow down all the gas station fuel
pumps from 20 litre per minute to 2 litre per minute...From 2027 on in
the EU certain car spare parts will be banned too....as exhaust systems,
turbo chargers and even some engine and gearbox oils...California and
New York will do the same from 2027 on.... So no investments should be
done in oil burning cars any longer....They even created a new kind of
crime here, called emissions and smoke crime :-(//
