I'm planning on diving again in that spot when September rolls around and weather starts warming up... I'll be looking more for kina and green lip mussels next time 😁
Heck thats four fingers? The kina and kutai be fat then. I better Google map the place from the birds eye view. They be plentiful there . Where abouts again??
@@tanioraaura1274 It's the pile Bay reef, sortve between pile Bay and camp bay, south side of lyttelton harbour. I've dived here twice, but always is hugely challenging due to murky water, can only see about 1m, sometimes less than 1m.
yeah on 3/4 throttle it gets on a plane and jumps from about 15kmph to 25kmph, and on full throttle gets to exactly 30kmph. Couldn't get it faster than that. I'm not too concerned about top speed though. I've ordered a hydrofoil for the outboard, which should get it on a plane quicker and easier.
thanks for having a look. I'm not a super experienced diver/fisherman so a lot of what you see in my videos is me going through a long learning process. I haven't been doing this for years and years like other guys. But when I do make a vid, I try to make the vid a really good one, and tell a decent story, kinda going for quality over quantity.
Loved the intro! Kia ora
Yip be a bit of a mission diving there.
Good on you.
Just leave those kina alone aye
More for me.

Awesome, thanks for the shout out! We're finally back from another trip and will be posting a short video soon :) Looks like you could hit past 30kmh!

@@KiwiKaimoana The sweet spot for me is 25-27kmh like cruising speed and comfortable without going all out on the throttle. :)
Awesome video bro, Deep South production sent me here, not disappointed at all 👍
