Awesome video, I totally agree with you about the acceptance and people's attraction when driving. I know because I own KITT too. As for driving with the guildwing it requires practice after a long while is now just natural to drive but I most say that the KITT used for the show had to be modified so he would be able to drive it easier by moving the seat back a little bit further. You are a little bit tall and that can be an issue when driving. It was awesome to see the filming locations and hear your comments. Us Knight Rider car owners that live in LA are so lucky to have all these locations so close, sometimes we just feel like the lone crusador, lol. Any way thanks for making that cool video. #FotoRider
Yeah if I could have moved the seat back further it would've probably been fine! So many Knight Rider filming locations here in LA, hard to pick just one episode for this video! :) Thanks for watching!!
If I knew you wanted to make a video I would have help you so you don't have to rent it. Maybe just cover for gas, 😆. I do rent mine normally for some filming but currently I am doing some upgrades so perhaps for the next time it would be ready for a project you might have.

I still have a Firebird 3.1 V6 (totally original, not modded in any way) from this era. A pain in the ass to work on and to keep on the road here in Europe (hard to find parts and the ethanol fuel likes to eat fuel pumps, lines, injectors, etc...). Totally impractical car, but still comfy and oh man still has the look after 30+ years. Unbelievable but cool that such a car can still be rented in the USA.

Thank you!! :) :)

@@cesarhilario09 Nice! Thanks for the offer! Would love to know what upgrades you are making?
@@HelloRoad is my own version of KITT to add functionality because KITT in the show the buttons in reality didn't do anything. I am wiring the upper console and installing the lower console. I'll keep you posted to meet and show you the upgrades then you can decide if you would be interested to use for a video.
Very nice replica
DON"T push the turbo boost please :P
I still have a Firebird 3.1 V6 (totally original, not modded in any way) from this era. A pain in the ass to work on and to keep on the road here in Europe (hard to find parts and the ethanol fuel likes to eat fuel pumps, lines, injectors, etc...). Totally impractical car, but still comfy and oh man still has the look after 30+ years. Unbelievable but cool that such a car can still be rented in the USA.
I thoroughly enjoyed this!
I had a 1989 Pontiac formula. Loved that car.
When the made the new knight rider show I could not get into it just for the fact they used a mustang
Yeah. That car was pretty ugly! Only one super thing about that new show was modern yet classic music theme.

well Pontiac doesnt exists anymore so....
@Ibri from Rev7 Or a GTO?? Sorry I'm from Ireland so don't know for sure the situation there with ye lads. The GTO with the same body as the Monaro would have made a nice enough looking car for the job I would think.
It wasn't ALL about just the card style ... but about the AMAZING and AWESOME things KITT could do ... so you dislikers stick that in your cars tail pipe and smoke it (at least puff on it anyway) 😁😁😁🤪🤪🤪
Igaz hogy egy kukkot se értek belőle de IMÁDTAM ezt a sorozatot!!A Pontiac a kedvencem!!!!!
A, poniac trans am ,model , from ,1982.
What a beautiful replica can’t wait to restore mine to oem when I’m older any prius owners can just F off I’ve herd enough from you guys I love my 305 V8s and always will
10:19 - Jeremy Clarksson gets beaten.
😂
That's his comeuppance for punching a BBC producer
Just wanna say thanks to you. Brought back so many childhood memories. 👍👍👍👏👏👏
i was born in 98 and this show was created 19 years ago before iwas born and thankfully my local tv channel used to show this
best time in my life 80 s I am 80 s kids we had best life ever knight rider scanner light amazing era
Nice! Now I want one. I wish my parents had never gotten rid of our trans am with tan interior back in the late 80’s. I could’ve inherited a TV legend. :(
"and, it's not fiber glass, either, excuse me" 😂
Sorry, I had to pause the video to make this comment. Now I'm building a replica in the UK so the first half of the video was nothing new, but dude I gotta say, the way you over layed scenes from the show with real life video from today is insane! Never seen anything like it 👌 so cool man 😎
Thanks for watching, really glad you enjoyed that! I'll try to do more with other car-focused TV shows. :)
I've always wanted my own K.I.T.T.
It looks like the Hero car from the 2nd season. I like how Mr Daniels signed the steering yoke.👍
Love how they took out the button pods behind the steering wheel but didn’t fill the huge gap between the steering wheel and the dash
I loved the sound kitt had on acceleration sounded like a supercharger wine. Such a cool car. Like to see a kitt with a 6.0 V8. I loved the 89' formula 350 firebirds.
Just wondering what happened to the semi trailer where kitt used to drive in and out from.
The filming locations footage is perfectly synchronised with the original scenes!
My first car was an 89 Firebird Formula. Very similar to the model used for KITT. Best car I ever owned.
Nice!!! :) :)
I have an 86 black basic Firebird. It is for the most part my daily and even though it needs some cosmetic work and it's not in pristine condition, I get people who comment about it all the time. I do plan on restoring it completely one day. I love the car and hope it lasts me indefinitely!
This "then and now" is amazing!
Thanks for watching! Glad you enjoyed the vid!! :)
I hate cars, but KITT is just damn awesome from front to end.
The sound of the scanner going back and forth, I will never forget that, it's bad-ass.
Damn, stopping anywhere with that car with the scanner on must be so cool, especially at night.. aw man what I would give to drive that car in the dark and see people's reaction.:D
I would love to see someone make the Viper Concept car from the short lived Viper TV show.
Эххх сколько мы ждали в свое время каждой новой серии)) Cool!!
Awesome vid as always! I remember regular car reviews complaining about that steering wheel, glad that future never happened
Thanks for watching :) Yeah, it's totally fine when you're going straight, just don't ever turn!
