We were fortunate to have summered in Wildwood Crest every year. Best gift my parents ever gave me and where I realized that I could never live more than 5 minutes from the beach.
I miss my youth so much 😢. Can't believe that I didn't know of Wildwood's music scene. I was a bit too young, I guess. (1962). Now I live in Vegas and it is NOT the same without the ocean and boardwalk.
Grew up in Cape May in the 80s... Miniature golf, pool-hopping, skee ball, meeting Summer friends (and Winter pen pals).. we'd have to get someone's Mom to drop us across the bridge to the Wildwood Boardwalk, and get someone else's to pick us up
For me a California boy it was the WINTER of 20/21 the pandemic in full force I rented a huge house for me and my dogs from September thru April. A magic 7 months it was, we had the place entirely to ourselves...well... except for the happy ghosts from summer days gone by that were every where!
Is this part of a Hofbrau Restaurant? There was a nice family restaurant at the boardwalk w entrance on the side street. People lined up down the side street to get in for dinner. Can't recall the name.
Wildwood is a place of tradition. A true community. I love how much of it has remained the same :)
I been going down all my life 65 long years lol 1974 worked at Aqua Circus across from Sportland pier. Nothing like Wildwood love it

I was born and raised in north cape may, I worked on the wildwood board walk in the 70's while I was in high school
So glad to see them repairing all the vintage wildwood architecture ❤
I absolutely love this video. I performed at the Lucky Club in the 1970s. Great memories.

They should keep as many off those hotels as possible.
Let’s not forget “jam session” in north Wildwood. Apparently it was pretty popular in it’s time.
You were lucky if you could get in.
