This the most mind blowing Crappie episode I've heard.🤯🤯 Because I hate fishing shallow but need to learn it. I'm gonna have to book a trip. Is someone willing to go out on another person's boat to do it? Squirrel convoys is HILARIOUS 😂😂😂❤
@@crappieconnection I actually put in a call to Huckabee today but know the guy is busy. I need to see about booking a trip but I want to book a trip with a Guide for them to take "MY BOAT" into the shallows so I can know it's possible. Hell the price of admission would be paid by seeing squirrels eat mayflies...
I despise it. I suck at it. I don't catch many fish around the spawn. Those are my 8-15 fish days. I would have to experience it to grasp it. Its 100% an art. I envy people that can do it. Ughhh... 😖😤😡🤬🤣
In alabama just about every tree that has a mayfly nest in ot has a squirrel in it and I agree with Todd ive seen crappie hitting top water eating mayflies but bluegill love them to and bass but those blue gill are fast as lighting they eat most of them what the squirrels don't get lol good show fellers 👍
I believe crappie being shallow all through the year, I question the squirrels eating mayflies. Great show and keep up the good work! Have learned a lot from watching and listening.
I really enjoy the Crappie Connection, but this has been the most informative for my areas to fish. Would have liked to know if Travis used rods that are the same length or if he staggers them? Living in Florida I only have Black Crappie, this gives me another technique. Regards, Marv
Always seems like minnows die to fast in summer. I hear people talk about putting an ice chest the day before inside or even placing in freezer to sort of giving a prechill before minnows get in it . Also placing a frozen bottle with the minnows. Seems like that would work. But also makes me wonder about going from one extreme to another
Thx Fellas!! Great video
Appreciate it

It’s going to happen.

If your on Table Rock in the fall. You’ll see squirrels swimming across the main lake.
That’s wild!!

They are definitely a lot of work to deal with in the summer

Uea, I have been able to keep them alive in my bait box, but not long after they hit the lake water, they die on me.
