I am at 7am watching over my daughter & looking for videos to help & this is the perfect video! It made me more comfortable to try this with my little one!❤
I’m taking care of my little 11-month-old granddaughter while her parents are on an extended trip. She caught an awful cold and her head is so full of snot! I came on UA-cam to search for some help and found this video! What a huge amount of snot you got out of that tiny little head! I’ve got to give this a try. Thank you!!
Thank you so much for this video, very informative! I’m going to try tonight for my 4 month old 😄 Side note to other mamas out there, make sure you don’t use menthol vapor rub on your babies before 2 years old. The menthol could close up the airways on your baby. Vicks does have a baby version of vapor rub that is safe for babies older than three months ❤
Oh my gosh! How scary! I put it on my chest for my baby a few nights ago cause he has a cold virus and knew not to put it on baby but I thought it was because of the actual stuff on the skin or something, not because it could close up his airways!! Thank you! My friend just told me to put it in his bath next. Glad I saw your comment. People can be so ignorant. Thank you
This video helped me out so much! I have to give my daughter a rinse for the first time and i just wanted to visualize how it’s suppose to happen and you gave me so much more!❤️ thank you so much for this video! P.s. Yes she went nuts, but I think she’s understanding especially since she is fast asleep and can peacefully breath.
Thank you so much for taking the time to show and TELL! I’ve watched so many videos where they just show and freezing the video a gazillion times just doesn’t cut it. Thanks, too, for breaking down all the tips slowly and thoughtfully. In other news: Your baby is precious and a Superstar for being so understanding and patient. Good job, Mom!!
You guys are all so brave! 👏 Since she was born my daughter always had a predisposition to choke on liquids (she's 18 now and still chokes on saliva even, every once in a while), I would have never even considered doing something like this with her, but it clearly seems to work wonders! Congrats!

You covered everything i was thinking of asking . Good job on the vid. Im going to try it tomorrow wish me luck.
I did it last night he slept like a king . Snored all night long 2 in the morning i was shopping for everything. I couldn't find something like your Syringe then again i only went too cvs had my mom help me out
@@Titobro310 doesn't it make you feel good that there is something you can actually DO that brings relief for the little one? ....also, you can buy just a normal syringe, and cut the tip of it off, and then file it down with a nail file.
@@sparrowcoloratura yes im so glad i did it. My little man thought it was torcher lol. But he slept like a champ. I can hear the clean nose as he breathes. I do recomend using that Syringe cut off the tip and Filed down tips. And only 2 ounces at a time. Its ok if you dont finish the 2 ounce at a time. The one i bought was one you get from the store for adults, to flush it out. Therefore, not knowing how much im shooting of the water preventing him from breathing. Making him swallow a bit of water but its safe for baby . Just a bit at a time. Try to time it, if they are screaming. When they scream out thats when you do it . You can try too guess when hes/she going to breath in,then you stop.

I never leave comments but this was so helpful for my 14 month old !!! I was searching for a video with actual details and instructions . thank you so much !!
Thanks for this. My little girl has the flu and bad congestion. I was trying to find anything that would give me visuals on how to do this and a really good breakdown of how to do it also. This has been super helpful and I can't wait to try it and help her get some relief from her congestion.
you are amazing!! Thank you for sharing . My cousin is a respiratory therapist and this is what she does for the little ones to help them breath better.
This is the best thanks. Like you so many videos didn’t explain anything. And web research is hit and miss after several dozens of articles. Only thing I’ll add, in the Vicks rub additional tip is state (though should be obvious) to only use baby vicks brand. Reg Vicks can cause severe seizures on babyish to small younger children. A few ingredients are changed between the two.

I do this on my current 4 month old, which is actually easier because they don't fight you. It's so much better than using the Nose Frieda bc it doesn't irritate their sinus cavities and it's much faster and more efficient. Both of my kids absolutely hate the nose frieda and it takes forever because of how much they fight. The nose rinse is super quick and gets everything out. Good luck to all you moms out there!
