You are right when you say that this discrimination and profiling will probably never go away. Even though I am an European citizen, being a person of colour, I feel that there certain prejudice from authorities and some people in many countries even within Europe. I know that it is easier said than done, but don't let it get to you. It is not enough for countries like India just to be the fastest growing economy, but to ensure that this wealth and prosperity trickles down to all citizens. Until that happens, one has to choose whether one should travel to a country that makes you feel unwelcome. Either put up with it if you can or hope that things may change if a lot of travellers share their experiences in public forums.

Even though I am an European citizen, being a person of colour, I feel that there certain prejudice from authorities and some people in many countries even within Europe. I know that it is easier said than done, but don't let it get to you.
It is not enough for countries like India just to be the fastest growing economy, but to ensure that this wealth and prosperity trickles down to all citizens.
Until that happens, one has to choose whether one should travel to a country that makes you feel unwelcome. Either put up with it if you can or hope that things may change if a lot of travellers share their experiences in public forums.
Well India has more rich people than many European countries combine. But when the lowee income class adds up to it , it becomes so little. If you even compare middle class indian per capita to few eastern European countries, ours will come out as high because Indians have assests like Gold and Lands in huge amount
