Or when I speak hindi guys used to say “are you Nepali?; sometimes very aggressive manner;I have been travelling south east Asia for last 3 months I have not been faced such a problems Jai hind 🇮🇳

Forget about Germany/Europe, I am from Odisha and I faced Racism in Karnataka, I guess every North Indian might have faced Racism in South India more or less.
Yes u are right. Even though I didn't face when looking for accommodation but in company....God it was different. Few ppl were really good but few were so prejudiced that a sight of a North Indian will make them bitter in split second

I am from Delhi,When I was in Karnataka, it was great experience...made lot of telugu&Kannada friends as well...they did tell me however that older generation telugu ppl dnt like others a lot.

I didnt face it personally...but Bihari ppl face ABSURD levels of racism in Haryana,Punjab&West UP(and in Delhi as well..mostly frm ppl who come from these regions)...I have seen my Bihari fnds facing it on a daily basis...particulalrly from that commuity famous for showing-off on Fortuners.
I know some ppl who 'do racism' and say racist rants....from what I have noticed...thos racist rants give them a twisted sense of 'empowerment' while some o it to 'look cool'....
Haven't been to west India(Gujarat,rjasthan,Maharashtra)...but have heard fnds frm UP faced lot of discrimination in Pune.
I work with Germans in IT and my experience has been same. I have often got racist vibes from the. They will look down on us and don't expect good work from us. I have many such experiences in 3 years of working with them, can't mention it all here but yeah I also think atleast Germans(can't say about others) are surely racist towards Indians.

After having lived in Germany for over 15 years, and having lived in France and Italy prior to that, I can say, Germany was less of a racist than others. People are sometimes too straight, and that can be considered rude. But, if you had such experiences, then yes, I have to accept that you met some really rotten apples.

Come to Belgium 🇧🇪, especially West Flanders....they all think they are the most superior race ( though they don't say racist slurs directly). I have not faced any much racism as I speak the local language very well. If I have experienced something like racial profiling...I just show my middle finger & answer back in local dialect
As an Indo-Canadian, I have to say, my experience as a tourist in Munich was really very pleasant, and I got very courteous service from airport to stores an restaurants. Admitedly, I never lived and worked there, BUT, never had one racist incident during my stay.
I also had the distinct pleasure of having met very charming German girls in Montreal, who actually struck up conversation with me.
Racism is a common experience in Germany. Germans are still quite disliked in the rest of Europe. Though externally all look well and organised, there is a deep negativism and internal anger in all of europe. They keep it bottled up but sometimes it bursts through.

Racism exists everywhere, even in India. I am a brown woman, I faced the same in my childhood. From family members to friends, there were several times when I was bullied just because of my skin color. "You look ugly", "How can you become so dark while sister is so beautiful", "why are you wearing black while your skin color is dark", "wear only light colors because you are dark"....these are some common comments I got. It was REALLY PAINFUL for me to tolerate (only those who faced the same would understand my feelings 😰). I can still remember the day when I cried badly after hearing some hateful comments from my nearest one (family member) due to my skin color!!!!
But now I am confident enough to ignore such 'faltu bakwas' 🥰
Edit:- I agree with your point (got some replies here) that the term may not be suitable for me, but we face some kind of painful moments due to our skin color everywhere.

@@krunal7433 about germany. I found it extremly hard to find a room to rent. All the time german/european applicant stood out and i was dropped. They have a very subtle bias against auslanders.
@@kabtak96 This is what I am trying to tell a lot of Indians but for them India is worst than Germany. Most people here are covertly racist, they might not show it but they don't want you around. This is clearly visible when you try to go find an accomodation or a job in fields which mostly has Germans or other Europeans. They try to hide or justify this shamelessly by saying that this how Germans have social contact.
@@krunal7433 yes to my observation, most of the newcomer bhartiya log have an inferiority complex w.r.t the german standards of punctuality, cleanliness, work order etc etc. On the other hand German leute have superiority complex w.r.t their culture, race etc . Infact there is no harmony, culture or compassion kind of thing among germans. I never felt any empathy from them. They act as robots yes/no and there is nothing in between. I realized that this is not the place for me so i left germany long back in 2017

I am a Punjabi guy. I was traveling in Europe with my Gujarati friend. I am tall, handsome and light skinned. He is dark, scrawny and short.
He faced a lot more racism than me even when we were together. It was sad. The world can be a mean place.

Racism अपने भारत में भी कुछ कम नही है । भारत के लोग यहाँ एक दूसरे को कम या ज्यादा जाति के आधार पर आंकते है और इस जब इनके साथ विदेशो में ऐसा होता है तो बुरा लगता है । बचपन में मैं भी सोचता था कि लोग हमसे नफरत क्यो करते है , लोग दूसरों को सम्मान से बुलाते थे और हमे तिरस्कार से । लोग कहते है कि जातिवाद खत्म हो चुका है लेकिन इस सवाल का जवाब वो ही दे सकता है जिसने इसका वास्तव में सामना किया है । इसी जातिवाद के साथ हम बड़े हो गए लेकिन किसी के लिए नफरत दिल मे नही है उम्मीद करता हूँ कि हमारे भारतीय समाज मे जातिवाद का कलंक जल्दी समाप्त हो जाये । Yatri डॉक्टर की वीडियो पिछले एक साल से देख रहा हूँ , और आपके स्वस्थ जीवन की कामना करता हूँ । 😊😊

@secret thunder GAMING abe chutiye, almost every European countries had colonies. If not in India, then in Africa and other parts of Asia and South America. Whole Europe and America is built with loots from India and Africa. They judge us from our skin colour not whether we are Indian or African.

When i was coming to canada i had connecting flight and had 12 hour stay in frankfurt airport ....and i was wearing my big nike sneakers ...even though i was not the only one who was wearing those sneakers there were other white people too...but the airport security made me remove both of my shoes ..just because i looked different..😬

When I was a student in Europe (many years ago), I also had a classmate who was a Kashmiri Pundit and quite fair-skinned by Indian standards, and we used to often travel together. By contrast, I am a dark-skinned South Indian. Very strangely, my friend used to face a lot more racism in Europe, and repeatedly so. By contrast, I almost never faced any racism despite being dark-skinned There were many occasions when a Security Guard or Immigration Officer would let me through without any questions, but would almost always stop my friend for questioning. Only later did we realize the reason for this. Unlike India, in many European countries being dark-skinned is not seen as bad. In fact, many European girls like to go out with African men. They even have African models. On the other hand though, the Europeans were much more negative towards people of Arab/Pakistani or Muslim religion because of the association with terrorism. Only then we realized why my Kashmiri classmate would always get stopped or face aggressive questioning (because they thought he could be Arab or Muslim). But as a dark-skinned South Indian, it was obvious I was not a Middle Easterner or Pakistani, and most people used to be much friendly and warm towards me. Also, as mentioned in my earlier comment, in fact I have faced much more racism in my younger days within India itself mainly in North India (where people used to openly call me names due to my dark skin). But in my 25 years of living in the West, nobody has ever called me such pejorative names as the North Indians (to this day the North Indians and Pakistanis have similar attitudes and are hypocrites in this regard, because they are the first people to complain of racism when they themselves go abroad). Fortunately, the people in South India are much more cultured and polite.

@Fight Club - And to further add to my response above, I thought I should also share some actual statistics with you. Inter-racial marriage rate between people of African origin and British White is 33%, while inter-racial marriage rate between Indians/Pakistanis and British White is just a mere 5%! This is official Government published statistics. Hopefully this tells you something, as it shows who is accepted more by the ordinary people of society. We Indians (particularly North Indians) often tend to have an exaggerated notion about ourselves.

Mai 5 in a half years se Germany mai hu. Par mujhe nahi pata yha sabko koi ajibsa problem hai mujhse ajib behaviour hai inka... Kyuki mai indian hu. Maine bohot face kia h aur abibi krrai hu...ye log bohot e ajib hai. Kbi kbi woh galat vibe se e smjh ajaega.
