That reference to a growth of a tree is brilliant and totally in the vibe Gojira is giving.
absolutely agree. thanks for checking it out!
Thank you for the great content! Cheers from Croatia! \m/
thanks so much! love Croatia =-)
absolutly man! and actually magma is like the highest branch of them all becuase the album sounds so spacy and atmospheric (i find a lot of connections to 'the way of all flesh')
That moment when your favorite band is inspired by the music your country creates ! Proud.
so awesome!
think they meant Indian as American Native Indian ;) or maybe both.... shit xD
maybe XD
@@franlovelsimic8421 Both is great
Saw Gojira and Devin Townsend play in Toronto in... January 2013, I think? Best show I've ever been to. I still get chills thinking about it.
wow that sounds awesome!!
I saw them yesterday with Devin Townsend and Opeth at Red Rocks! They were okay.
What a great opportunity to see those three bands at Red Rocks! wicked!
Ok? Lol they are great
They seem like the greatest guys ever.
They are indeed.
They literally brought fire to the stage at Red Rocks Amphitheater. 30 foot tall flame-blast explosions on their breakdowns. And they also made a red moon rise. Legendary.
Mark Fonzen would have loved to see them at RR!
Ive seen Gojira 5 times now, this was their most epic show in my opinion. The improving, the fire, the moon rise.. I think if they release a full video of the show, everyone will agree!
I flew all the way from Wisconsin to see it, and I had my high expectations exceedes ten fold.
Mark Fonzen oh man that sounds awesome! You are true!! ✊
I saw this video back when it was released in 2017 and I’m in it singing and headbanging. I didn’t remember they talked so profoundly about their mom in this especific video. I’ve lost my mother to cancer 3 years ago and Magma was very important to me and it is what they say, for them playing is therapy and for me watching/listening is as well. So thanks to whoever made this edition and put me in there with my idols, sharing the same feeling of losing someone and still enjoying life ❤️ Danke!
They should do a documentary like the Mastodon one. That would be interesting to watch.
as always, one helluva video! Gojira is awesome, especially live!
Moonspell67 thank you :-) we ❤️ Gojira 🤘
As a palm tree I am deeply offended by this video
I've heard Mario talking about the portuguese roots of their mother but Joe always referred to her as "american". This was the first time I heard him talking about the Azores, their ancestors and the influence it had on Magma. I thank him for that. : )
So French guys in a Japanese named band draw inspiration from Indian music
And they are being listened by thousands throughout the world. Globalization in it's finest representation.
Song at the intro?
That's a song called "Tanerthos" from Tanertill. Check them out here: tanertill.bandcamp.com
when he says..... music around :52 mark
you cant make out what he says
he says "I'm still listening to a lot of Indian music. I find something that I cant find anywhere else."
Almost like you're hypnotizing them.
