If the customer that owns that Spyder RTL is watching this video, he's now thinking 'That seals it. no one else is going anywhere near my Spyder but Shawn 👍'
Shawn you are the best…the Spyder community is so grateful for your tech talks and advice around the Spyder and its maintenance 👌 Another awesome vlog, thank you. Have a great one 👍
Good info on checking the oil. A quick question, I tend to keep my Spyder around 4k as it is but is it strictly necessary on the SM5 manual? Anyway, great vid as always! Be well Smoaks!
You don't need to keep the RPM's up for the clutch on a SM5 because it's manually controlled, but the RPM's should be above 4K frequently enough to keep the EVAP system flushed..! The electronic purge valve will no open under 4K RPM's to perform the purge function. Thanks John!!
Like I said. YOU DA MAN. The info in your brain would flood the world and that don’t even account for the amount of common sense you possess. Stay safe and keep us dummies charged up👍🏽😎

BMW says to check the oil level within 3 minutes after shutting the bike down.
