- We are kicking off this year's mini round of Christmas videos with "Oh Holy Night." Our Patreon community requested this song and we are so glad they did, it's now one of our favorites. Special shout out to Emmett for the musical arrangement!
We filmed our Christmas videos in July while Julianne was still with us and it made our hearts happy to hear her voice and sweet mandolin picking again. She is now back at college, finishing her final year.

Not many people have the combination of such a soaring and clear singing voice as Ellen.
I really enjoy the strength in Ellen’s voice especially when she brings it from a soft beginning.

Oh Holy Night - a new version to the many hundreds of thousands that already exist. Does it really have to be? Yes, it does. Because The Petersens show once again that music does not consist of the stringing together of notes, but of their interpretation. I bow down deeply! Thank you for the joy you bring to the world!
I have only been watching/listening to the Peterson's music video's for 6 to 8 wks (began purely by accident as I'm into Rock music). I received an email from UA-cam (1st time ever) listing the top three music performers I've watching. To no surprise at #1 was the Beatles (my long, long time favorite group), but was surprised to see tied for 2nd was the Peterson's and John Lennon (my favorite Beatle). Making it all the more surprising is the fact I've been watching music video's on UA-cam before Julianne Peterson was born! For the Peterson's to climb into a 2nd place tie in less than 2 months is amazing, and speaks to how much I enjoy listening/watching this amazing group!

Whenever I see a video from this wonderful band, I find myself instinctively clicking "like" even before I've heard a note - I always know it'll be a song I might (or might not) know, but in an arrangement that will take root in my brain for weeks!
Beautiful and interesting how you do this in a non- traditional 4-4 time instead of the usual 6-8. And Katie's fiddle adding a level of intensity to the feeling of this favorite. I've been singing O Holy Night for 50 years but your version is new, bright, and compelling. Thank you!
