      Yes this like I said vermicelli/fideo (not the rice flour based version!!!) a pasta which is first "toasted" in butter in a pan

      Thank you! Just want to better understand things: You said it was rice vermicelli on your first comment, but said this type doesn't use rice flour. I assume it's wheat flour? Can you still call it rice vermicelli if it doesn't use rice flour?

      Pardon I made (midnight) a mistake. Yes I meant non rice vermicelli at first as well. Sorry for confusing you.🤗🤗🤗
      It is called tel sehriye and is made of hard wheat semolina. (No eggs, no rice flour; always shortened pieces). Vermicelli are an Italian lonh thin pasta shape, nearly forgotten there.
      But popular as rice vermicelli in lots of Asian etc. countries nowadays
