I went here. We originally made our way to this street to eat at a popular fast food place a few shops down. But when I saw this, had to try it and it didn't dissapoint. Love Afghan food. Also loved the authenticity of the eatery. Looked like an old school eatery focused on food quality that delivered. I want to the restaurant today after watching this video, cause I live near by. I want to many restaurants but this one tops them all, the Afghan pilau was so fluffy and meat so tender , the manto was so good, I bought mince meat from their next door grocery and looked up the recipe online to make for tomorrow, my daughter ordered the lamb kofta kebeb with rice, this was delicious. I told my kids this place will be our regular place to eat out. This place is a gem, we also ordered chaplan kebeb.

Afghans cook from their hearts! That makes their food one of the best cuisines in the world! There are some great Afghan restaurants in Toronto and Montreal & they are all family run. Hey Latif, I loved this video and your choice of dishes! I plan to follow your recommendation and try out the restaurant. BTW, I too spent a good few years in Pimlico (lived just off Lupus Street). You must know the Pimlico Tandoori restaurant. If memory serves me right, the owner at the time was called Siraj. Their Lamb vindaloo was the best I have ever eaten. If you could, I would be ever so grateful if would make a video on how we could make a good approximation to that recipe. Many thanks in advance.

I make Peshawari karahi/afghani karahi at home alhamdullah but no pressure cooker.
