It will be tough, but there will always be a Ukraine and Ukrainian people. Despite the many people killed during the war, the Kremlin will never be able to conquer and hold the land and citizens they're trying to annex.
The Russian military is already slowly re-building Mariupol, and destroying evidence of their war crimes, as part of the "Special Military Operation" and Russification of Eastern Ukraine.
The Ukrainian government and people will never peacefully surrender their territory and citizens to Russia. Even if it the war expands to include Russian cities, the Kremlin and its Russian citizens will pay a heavy cost for invading a nation that never attacked them.
I would rather fight with dignity on my feet that live with shame on my knees.

Something important to know, for all who are interested in history and/or support Ukraine:
Rus' ought not to be confused with modern “Russia”, which derives its name from the Rus' but historically is a completely different state, which almost all its existence was at war with the Rus'.
Just like the Holy Roman Empire was actually Germany, “Russia” is actually Muscovy, despite their best attempts to convince everybody otherwise.
Its name “Russia" received only around 1721, when Peter I simply changed Muscovy’s name into the “All Russian Empire” (Russia originates from Rosia, name used by the Greek Orthodox Clergy in regards to Rus')
Under the reign of Cathrine II Muscovites where even punished for continuing to identify as Muscovites, and were forced to call themselves Russian.
Lands that Russia (Muscovy) claims were part of the original Rus', but actually weren't, are Novgorod, Suzdal, and Ryazan, since in historical texts of XI-XII centuries they are mentioned as separate entities from Rus'. They can be considered parts of extended Rus', although their culture was distinct from main Rus'.
In 1493, Muscovite duke Ivan III appointed himself to be the Great Ruler of All Rus'. No other kings acknowledged that. From that point on Muscovy started to make false claims on Rus' ownership.
“Russia” is an offshoot of Ukraine and not the other way round, despite what Soviet and Russian (Muscovite) historians have been trying to say for years. A Slavicised Finnic, then later, Mongolized offshoot. Kyiv was a developed cultured capital when Moscow was just another swamp village.
Germany used to call itself the Holy Roman Empire, that didn’t mean they became the Romans, and all of a sudden had a right to claim whole of Italy and its history, but yet, that’s exactly what Russia (Muscovy) did in regards to Rus'-Ukraine, which is a horrible injustice!

We have given them over 110 billion in cash and weapons in less than a year and they are still losing. That's more money than The Marshall Plan after WW2 when adjusted for inflation. He's the guy who just got fired in a corruption scandal after it became known that he had:

(2) bought a brand new mansion with stolen US tax dollars
(3) bought a brand new $100,000 Porsche Taycan sports car with stolen US tax dollars

1917-1933 - military occupation of Cuba, economic protectorate.
1917-1918 - participation in the 1st World War.
1918-1922 - intervention in Russia. In total, 14 states participated in it.

1998 - Sudan. The Americans destroy a pharmaceutical plant with missiles, claiming that it produces nerve gas.
1999 - Ignoring the norms of international law, bypassing the UN and the Security Council, the United States launched a 78-day aerial bombing campaign by NATO forces against the sovereign state of Yugoslavia.

Difference is: Ghost of kiev was mosty media invented. And the ghost is even in some sense real. Not as a single person of course, that was just a product of the chaos and fog of war in the beginning. But russia did in fact loose those planes.

Btw, regarding the "lie" about the ghost of kiev: Propaganda is used by both sides. Remember the LKW that allegedly detonated on the kerch bridge? Where russia published an image where apparently it was obvious that a bomb was in the LKW? Yeah that was also total bullshit. The LKW on the livestream video had more wheels. It didnt explain why russia would investigate every vehicle accessing the bridge, and then allow a obvious bomb truck etc. So both sides spread propaganda.

You probably should, since we have given Ukraine more in just 2022 than we did to all of post-WW2 Europe with The Marshall Plan when adjusted for inflation (103 billion). You'll be happy to know that Zelenky's good friend - Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Kyrylo Tymoshenko - has really appreciated your generosity. So far he has:
(1) *got caught stealing a brand new $60,000 Chevy Tahoe that was given for "humanitarian aid" to transport refugees*
(2) *moved into a gigantic new 13,000 square foot mansion*
(3) *purchased a brand new $100,000 Porsche Taycan sports car*
And guess what? He's not the only one. He's just one of many of these corrupt Ukrainian politicians who are running a huge multi-billion dollar grift on the US taxpayer. And this information is readily available online. Feel free to look it up yourself.
