More of these please! So nice to watch! Thanks!
I really enjoyed watching that, thank you for sharing it.
I had memories of watching this when I was a kid, but I was starting to think I had imagined it! All I could remember was the actress who played the farmer's wife in Worzel Gummidge ( Megs Jenkins) was in it, I wouldn't have known who John Mills was when I was a kid. Thank you for sharing this.
wow i never thought id see this again, i used to watch this with my late father. My maternal grandparents were in a few episodes as extras so i remember the excitement when it would come onto our TV each week much like the same feeling when i found these 2 episodes here. If you have any more id be incredibly grateful if you could post them please? There are some brilliant other memories on your channel too. Its good to know they still exist but frustrating they have never been released on DVD etc
Thankyou so much for all your posts long may you continue. Thanks again

There's only one word to describe this....proper....
Blimey! Its a young Roy Cropper 😮😂
It sure is🤣🤣🤣
That's nice. Thank you!
Saw this recently. Very nice film❤
It's not a film it's a sitcom.
@@chriswatkin5476 "I actually mistook this for a different drama with these actors also in it, where the husband plans a day trip to blackpool and tries to hide it from his wife. That was very good and seemed like a little film. Your comment prompted me to recheck this one, and I hadn't seen it at all. Thanks😊
@@franceslynch8815 I think you are talking about ..... For The Love Of Ada, but not same actors.
@@irenemorley75
I am, and I discovered that afterwards also.
I loved that drama. Thanks very much🧡
@@franceslynch8815 I love it too, you are more than welcome🤗
Don't know this show, but I did have a good laugh, thanks😊
What was there to laugh about? John Mills really lowered himself, making this awful dirge
@@jacqueline8559 Stop being a kill joy, you are watching it🙄
Megs Jenkins and John Mills together again after ' the history of mister Polly '.
Old fashioned comedy; very funny.
I’ve just realised why the neighbour looked familiar.
Play Away with Derrick Griffiths and Brian Cant, etc. She was also in Block something or other I just can’t remember the proper name.
Very funny great actors
Didn’t Norman play Roy cropper in coronation street
yes he still does .
" Aye by gum, you could leave y' front door open, & not give a hoot "🦉
Only because no one had anything worth pinching.
imagine Roy leading a social gathering
He left his front door wide open.
Please upload all episodes marvelous
Great ending
By popular request? Don't wait for people to request it... if you've got 'em, upload 'em :)
Be nice and say please and thank you.
It's nice to be important but it's more important to be nice. Thank you.
Is that roy cropper lol xx 😂
Roy Cropper!!!!!!
Megs Jenkins ?
Selwyn Froggit's mum! Can't believe I never saw this when it came out, I was an avid watcher of sitcoms as a child. It's not that bad by the standards of the day either, though I presume Sir John Mills had a large tax bill to pay the year he made it.
lol
Mention of Vale
actually, the way albert is acting in the kitchen, nowadays would that be classed as the start of dementia of sorts?
Now in England it's all illegal boat people, drugs, knife crime, prostitutes, gangs, crime, riots, massive homelessness, looting shops, kids carrying knives on the streets, muggings. What happened to peace and quiet and tea and scones and lovely picnics in the park or a day out at the sea side?.. It's very sad to see England in such a sad state.
To be fair most of England is still pretty nice but I agree, the bad stuff is increasing, and the government seem to be dead set on encouraging the decline as quickly as possible.
Yes & the once beautiful English countryside has become infested with 6ft stinging nettles, Japanese knotweed & other invasive foreign growths, not to mention the putrid smelling illegally planted roses of a repellent hue which give off a noxious gas whenever a decent English person approaches. In my town, which is near extinct, one has to wear a hazmat suit just to pick a dandelion.
I am so sorry things are the 💩 in England right now. It's like everyone has gone kra-kra @ the same time. Same here in the states.😔

Always been Drugs/ knife crime/ prostitutes/ riots/ looting shops, England has some beautiful places to go in the country side, I go away and book cottages to stay in twice or three times a year.
