Fern, my white Boxer dog, is an accredited service dog under the 1992 DD act. She holds special access rights to be allowed to enter places most dogs cannot. This includes National Parks such as Chiltern Mt Piolet NP where Reedy Creek is located. Unless your dog is an accredited service animal they are not allowed to enter NP.

I have cumulative, debilitating Canine PTSD from a number of tragic events in my life and I choke up (in a good way) every time I watch an older video with Grizz in it and say a few words to him in my heart (often out loud, actually). Dog is just God spelt backwards. You were blessed with a Great Dog.
I lost a dog to poison when I was a boy, it's something that stays with you.

Chris dogs and cats sneak into our hearts, when we're not looking, but it does hurt when they move on. I got teary and had a sob when my 15 year cat passed away, so it's not weak to love, hope you are getting ready to get another pet
Hey mate so so so sorry!!! to hear of the passing of grizzly. he has been apart of you vlogs for a long time and brought a lot joy to your vlogs. 1080 is a horrible way to mange pest. I am hunter myself and been so for 5 years of controlling foxes dogs and cats with just a rifle and shot far more. 1080 is not even working half the time. we lost a blue heeler pup of 9 months old because of the miss use of 1080. chin up mate and keep on Digging, Gold Digger.

Vo-Gus I love watching your videos, but I even love more the relationship you have with your pooch. I'm sorry to hear about Grizzly as we also have lost rescue pooches to poison. Specifically here it is usually rat poison that the ground snuffing pooches will pick up. I had not realized that Grizzly had passed, but I wanted to take a minute to note his passing as every pooch deserves remembrance. I have three rescues of my own (2 chow chows and 1 German Shepherd) and they are important members of our family. I recently watch the video with the new pup, so I'm very happy to see that the love you have with Grizzly will carry on with your future family members! Keep up the great videos and maybe when I'm retired, I'll pay a visit down under!

Each took a piece of my soul with them. I know the emptiness you feel when they're suddenly not at your side any more. My heart goes out to you. Mate, the puppy pic got me. Grizz was such a good boy, missed by all. I think most of us shed some tears that day. I was on the river the next day and could not get you two out of my thoughts. First time here, this showed up in my feed. $18 would not be worth my time and effort. But I assume it is the thrill of the hunt. You put on one fine step by step video and did a good job in doing so. I am so sorry about your dog dying. I have copd and rarely leave the house so it would not be fair for me to own a dog to keep inside weeks at a time. Twice a year I get to babysit my nieces 45lb Australian German shepherd. He is strong enough to pull me out of a chair if we play tug of war with a rope. Yet he still wants to jump up on my lap as if he's a small puppy. I put a sheet on the couch and when I lay down to watch tv he jumps behind my legs. He's the perfect bottle warmer.

Another important milestone for you Chris. It was strange seeing Grizzly again but good. I agree with you on the 1080 issue. We always should take care of animals and we need to have a positive solution not just be against something. Un fortunately, shooters are often vilified and made the easy scapegoat for the bad behaviour of criminals who do not obey the law and are not affected by the decisions of politicians. The minute I saw the beard, I knew I would see Grizzly. Had to get the tissues out. Protected my neighbor's pup yesterday from a toadstool mushroom she pulled out of the ground by the apple trees. Traded her an old mouldy apple for it. She's 12 weeks old and I get to scratch her behind the ears every day. My thoughts are with you and Zoe.
Sitting here at work drinking a beer I miss him too and my boy is in Vermont while I am in Oregon its hard but know he is well taken care of

Love your show mate. I lost my girl to cancer about 14 years ago. She was almost 6 years old. I still miss her today. I belie we should be using the gene editing tool CRISPR cas9 for pest control in this country. It's painless and it doesn't affect other animals. CSIRO are looking into it. It will work on invasive plant's as well. Keep up the great work mate. All the best.
