Unlimited ammo, the same damage of a tank shot, and can be carried throughout the campaign.
@Callmekasen I hope we get the Covenant remnants back. The Banished vs the Covenant / prophets would be fun to see. I hope the banished don't just replace them entirely in the games.

It's not as prevalent when the ai fights big groups, but on legendary when fighting me they are pretty smart they'll use grenades to force you out of cover, prefire on the sides so when you peak you get hit And if you break an elites shield and don't keep the pressure up they more than likely will run to regen their shield. -doesnt happen too often but I find the red elites tend to do this alot. I've only been playing for a couple of hours but the ai is really smart at times.

The sound balance is good for sure, but the sounds themselves feel kind of boring and soulless The more I hear gameplay sounds, the more I find legacy sounds are the most pleasant and touchy if I may say
Except I can’t tell the difference between a pp and Mangler being shot cause the 3p plasma pistol sounds like a human pistol. The quality is without a doubt there, but they all sound the same like your typical FPS shooter, even Halo 5 had better distinct sounds imo. The bulldog is a top tier offender.

It is 100% possible and people are already doing it. I watched a fight with 10 Elite Blade Masters fight like 50 Brutes and it was hilarious. I also watched Escharum getting beat down by 10 red Hunters.
Though, to be fair, the beauty of Real Time Strategy games is that no one is really that hard to kill. One minute you take out a squad of hunters, the next you're entire army is decimated by thousands of Orcs and trolls led by a bloody Balrog. *Sobs at the memories of playing Battle for Middle Earth*

In a First Person Shooter, like the actual Halo games, however, their an almost invincible mini boss who you need to either A: Empty all your clips, B: Use a Ghost or a turret, or C: Find some weird cheese strategy on UA-cam that the AI would not allow to work.
I'm imagining a rogue squadron of grunts attempting to rebel, and to make an example of them, Atriox sends one of his hunters to wipe them out completely
That's sort of canon, actually. There was a great uprising of Unggoy in the decades before the Covenant encountered humanity. Obviously, the Sanghelli went in with Lek'golo and put it down, but it wasn't the walk in the park they were expecting (they had to start glassing before they surrendered) and the Unggoy ended getting some respect out of it.

The needler, sword, hammer, and skewer were my best friends fighting these guys on heroic. It's risky, but if you can close the gap, the sword is their kryptonite in this game
Honestly, hunters keep getting harder. I can’t even kill one without explosives because they’re too fast to even be shoot in the back anymore and getting close is a death sentence
Needler, it super combines on the hunters armor and blows it off. It’s a shitty weapon against normal enemies but against brute chieftains, bosses, and hunters, it is the true power weapon
I feel like a single hunter could bully a LOT of bosses in the game.

the red hunters are the only thing i found myself to fear in halo ever since i first saw the flood as a child in CE.
Bit of advice, if you’re having trouble fighting them due to a lack of explosives, shoot their arm cannon, it jams it and “stuns” them.

I put almost everything I had into 1 on legendary and it still wasn't enough
