Hi Thomas speed things by selecting multiple cut tick box then select fascia once, will cut all rafters just selecting the rafters

You're absolutely right.. don't know why I didn't do that. Thanks for pointing it out! I'll put a note in the description when I'm back at my desk

@tg-at great job. I use reference planes to cut everything as the cut is exact, not notched back. I also use a standing seam roof to set rafters as I can use the align tool to set out rafter positioning. Copy standing seam and paste aligned same place then change to surface tile type 30mm which gets adjusted in height to align and footprint adjusted to overhang eaves and barge ends. Fascia and gutter attach to standing seam roof, leaving the tile roof to overhang into the gutter. The standing seam roof is set to the structure depth of the rafters. The seams can be set for rafter spacing. Long winded explanation for a simple process. Keep up the great work

Thanks Liam. I would usually do the reference plane cut too. But it does throw up some weird results in Elevations. This glitch may have been fixed in recent versions, I'm still using 22! I'll be teaching in 25 from next week so I might just bite the bullet and start my next project in 25.
