What's up yall! I just want to let you know that I'm reading every comment, and I appreciate all the criticism regarding the "Aryan invasion / migration" theory. As I mentioned in the video, I think I learn as much if not more from the comments than I do from the actual videos when I make these Hinduism reactions, so please do continue to share your thoughts and feedback! I'm considering doing a reaction to a video focused exclusively on Ancient India which will hopefully provide more info on different theories surrounding the Indus Valley civilization and its decline/evolution. If you have any recommendations for educational content that you'd like to see me explore, please do let me know!

Hi just go through the recent discovery about the ancient Indian history you will know that Aryan invasion story is fake and no proof support that however recent excavation shows nothing comes from outside.

We have astronomical data on positioning of stars and other celestial bodies which showed us 14000 years old time line in ramayan scripture. As well as the expendition towards northern stepped which was under ice age during time. So ramayan alone is around 15000-14000 years old . Now about the book Surya Siddhanta which is supposed to be with Germany or UK at the moment. Dates to astronomical data going back to around 34 thousand years ago. We know that african tribes first stepped on indian subcontinent 75 thousand years old (oldest dna of women on indian subcontinent being 75 thousand years old and male dna around 70 thousand). What's surprising that living dna found in tribe senitalese in Indian island of nicobar have never stepped out of that island for 75 thousand years. During British rule, 4 member of tribes were captured and tested. They were vulnerable to flu like common cold because he are used to these flus and disease or viruses but they are not. 2 of them died. Their dna matches the oldest homosepian dna found in subcontinent.
So 35 thousand years old astrological formulas and data doesn't sound like far fetched.

Aryan invasion was not scientifically proven. In India Aryaputhra literally means noble son.

It was a theory given by Indians not Britishers. It was Brahmins who used to claim themselves as Aryans. You can always do a DNA test. Non-Aryans are lactose intolerant. Read some history dude. You are telling myths after myths.

"When most of our ancestors were farmers and reply on there crops. There were times when the yields were not as expected (flood, droughts, storms, etc.). They ofcourse have had things in reserve. But if by chance any calamity occurs for long. They atleast have cow milk so that their children won't sleep hungry. They provide milk for us as a mother and we should treat her as one."

I am an electrical engineer from remotest part of India ..since childhood on diwali/dipawali we worship cows in the form of representation of goddess Lakshmi. Apart from that we respect cows because we feel they are like our mothers .. we grow up drinking their milk .. in Hinduism we relate every living thing to God and worship them for their importance.. we worship rivers as mother Ganga etc, we worship trees etc etc .. but this workship culture is to make ourselves connected to nature and preserve it

I grew up in India in the 60's in an upper middle class family, we have cows in my grandmother's huge bungalow and we loved them as our pets hugging them climbing on them and also drank fresh milk every day. Never thought of hurting them in any way.
Cow is holy for Hindus because of -
1. Hindus are peace loving people and killing any animal is not our basic nature. We consider the right of life of all living animals like we are living as human.
2. Use of Cows with many Hindu gods pictures and their association with them.
3. Good percent of Hindus are vegetarian and who are non vegetarian also don't consume Beef due to their association with God.
4. In Indian society we feed street cows daily and it becomes tradition, no one of us can imagine killing of a cow or just not cow but any living being.
Please provide evidence from Upanishads for each and every line that you have mentioned.
1. Why do Hindus used to eat cows - 200 yrs back?
2. Those are drawn in the last 200 yrs. Please provide such pictures atleast 2000 yrs old.
3. Many Hindus are lacto - vegetarian. Not true many Hindus still consume beef. Cow is not God. India is the biggest exporter of the beef.

I think main point is that after mother milk, the cow milk is given to the children, so cow is like second mother and cow is domesticated animal so they are like pets. Its like eating dogs

Its simple. Cows are to people in India who admire it what domesticated Dogs and cats are to American citizen who admire that pet parenting concept. Cows are not seen as pets but as more like extended family members. Back in the days before dawn of technology a cow meant wealth and its more useful an asset alive than dead. It was like a home refrigerator on all fours. Even if you had no access to food grains one domestic could keep the small family fed to some extent, Cow dung when dried makes for fuel source that can replace rare coal. Worshiping any thing in India like cow or a river is a way of setting up rituals make sure that resource is maintained well, For example In a household with domestic cows in north India the family would ritualistically offer the first bread (roti) made for the day to their cow and its considered good omen or practice to feed your cow first before you feed yourself (Its like saying grace before every family meal the Indian family would offer portion of the food to their cow first before breaking bread). There are also festive days on yearly basis like fathers day mothers day you have a day for the cow and ox where people decorate their cow or ox decorate it and pamper them with treats they like( you will find similar customs in some communities who rear and train horses and elephants. In-fact you have many spas and retirement sanctuaries in India for elephants). The community has volunteers who operate care homes for the old and non productive cows and its encouraged for members of the community to occasionally visit such care homes and offer voluntary service. It also is a system to preserve local breeds from going extinct. Finally you dont find people protesting to uphold right to slaughter dogs and cats and eat its meat in USA or right to slaughter and hunt elephants and eat its meat in Thailand or consume pork in Islamic countries.
So it is not a scared animal, it just used to have some utilities which has gone now. Also 70% of Indians are lactose intolerant, so for majority it was not much of an utility then. Historically cows and ox were eaten in India. Your comparision with other animals is incorrect. In Turkey you can find pork just outside a Mosques, can we say that beefs shops are available outside temples in India. Elephants are not seen as a pet in Thailand.
Dog slaughter is allowed in 44 states of America, again your comparision is wrong.

There are various reasons for worshiping cow, for one legends say that Lord Shiva showed, the Heros of Mahabharatha The Pandavas, the way to Paradise in the form of Cow. Unfortunately the head got stuck in Pashupathinath, Nepal and the back got stuck in Kedarnath, India. So it is said that one has to two places to have complete blessings. The other reason is that Lord Shiva was also handed creativity, He went to create various layers under the earth from the core. So He literally disappeared. Hence there was an imbalance in the Universe, so at the request of Lord Brahma and Vishnu, Lord Shiva re-appeared as ear of Cow. This place is called Gokharnam in Karnataka.

Actually hinduism is a culture in which we worship things that are very important to us we trear cow like a mother , because it is like a mother , first of all if we see the basic character of cow , i pet a cow and a dog i never feel difference between them they are calm , so gentle with human beings most of them , a dog can still be dangerous for you , a street dog but a street cow will always have less probability of being termed as dangerous , secondly cow is like a mother it provides you milk which is necessary for nourishment now many creatures provide milk why only cow its just because cow milk can be consumed on a regular basis , in india goat milk is also consumed but it is not a milk that you can consume daily , second nothing of a cow is waste , for centuries indians made thier home " literally with mud and cow dunk " it may sound strange but just a visit a home ,nobody has fallen ill due to cow dunk , on the contrary it works as a disinfectant, there will never be flies Romaing around your house if you just polish it with cow dunk, secondly the cow dunk is also used as natural manure for crops which is ultimate , also the cow dunk can be made solid , and then burnt to remove flies and mosquitoes , thats how wonderful that creature is and hence it is worshipped
If you are interested in Indian mythology I suggest you also watch ramayan and Mahabharata. Even if you do not believe in hindu gods they are still incredibly good stories

Bro, this is just half correct information. There was no evidence of Aryan migration or invasion. Rather it is the other way around. After the large migration from Africa thousands of years ago, there was a second migration to all over the world from India. That is why you can see so many similarities in the cultures of Ancient India, Egypt, Greece, Romans, Chinese and even southern America. Hello Ray! One important fact we can't understand today: Before advent of chemical fertilizers (urea, Di ammonia phosphate, etc) the only way to fertilize your rice fields was to use cow manure! Even today in hilly regions of Nepal a family can cultivate only as much land in "bighas" as they own cows! A Nepali gurgha i met told me he had to work in India because they couldn't cultivate more than 3 bighas as they owned only 8 cows or some calculation like that! Even western countries needed bat shit imported from caves in certain countries to conduct agriculture until chemical fertilizers were invented! Hence you can understand importance of cow in such an agrarian society ! And why cow represented prosperity! Abd one aspect why it's associated with "Earth and produce of earth" should become clear! Other aspects too exist, the bull was the only way to plough the rice fields in those days!

I was on a bus to Jaipur and was 6 hours drive. There were some foreigners and one of them killed a mosquito and sarcastically said ' are they Holy like the cow. After we became in Talking terms, I asked him....does he know why the cow is holy. No, he answered. I told him

The video was fairly informative, there is a very interesting and fundamental theory of why cows are considered holy or revered among Hindus,
Most of the human population has sometime or other have had milk as a major source of nourishment, particularly after the mother stops weaning the child due to lack of milk production, however the nourishment requirement of the child is substituted by cows milk, this milk nourishment from the cow replaces mother milk , hence it’s akin to be honoured like a mother, additionally the antibodies available in the cows milk are more potent and of larger spectrum of protection compared to human milk . It’s basically reverence to the animal , the provided nourishment and protection from fatal diseases.
Hope this interpretation gives a fair scientific reasoning.

Apart from that cows provide stable source of income (milk, butter etc) and nourishment to an agrarian society.

I dont think there is any Aryan as a separate race anywhere mentioned in any HIndu or Buddhist scripture.
