- Today we're going to take a look at the upcoming very long transit of Mars through Gemini. I'll probably do a few talks on this transit because Mars will be in the sign of Gemini from late this month of August through March of 2023.

As a Mars in Gemini native, a helpful motto for me has been “you may not get to win, but you can choose how to lose”. I think about that every day.

I also have Mars in Gemini. But Mercury and Venus are in Gemini too 😅😅 So they’re actually helpful in keeping Mars less aggressive in communication. I never have the problem of words slipping unintentionall 😂

I’ve been handling mint all day, it has spread widely on my flower bed so I had to remove a lot of it, so I’m drying mint and I put it in a vase here and there and our home smells like mint all over 💚 AND I started a flamenco course, and isn’t it very Mars in Gemini with all the rhythmic clapping and hand and feet expression and I’m loving it💃🔥 Gemini is my 6th house, dancing might help…😅

Fun info about the plant connection. I pulled a sprig of rosemary and found my peppermint oils in the cabinet. I have Jupiter in Gemini....I think it's gonna be fun for a while
blue vervain is the only herb that is really new to me, so i'm grateful for that talk. i love mint so much, but my gerd issues make it so that i'm not really supposed to use her anymore. which is just.. heartbreaking really. she's also the herb i use to cut the bitterness in other herbal tea blends i make. so now i'm having to relearn how to drink tea all over again. i adore rosemary, and will run my hands through her and then massage the oils into my scalp. it's a wonderful way to get that hair benefit. thank you for this, i'm super excited about the plant talks coming up. i'm grateful that you offer tuition assistance bc i'm unemployed and working on a disability claim, so i wouldn't be able to make use of this without that kind of offering.

This is so interesting. I have natal Mars in Gemini on IC square moon/ Pluto/Uranus. I have constant high tension in my back/ neck and my job means I’m on computer all day. It’s hard living with this. Everything Acyuta says about it is correct. Ashleys advice sounds great ❤️

Last night I decided to drink some peppermint tea at work remembering watching this and then didn't think anything else about it. My dreams last night were so intense about mint and swans but it was like the mint was screaming at me. Weird experince wil probably stick to drinking the tea in the early afternoon rather than late at night!

As I am a virgo rising with Saturn, Mars and Venus in Gemini I must say: holy sh.... dont know what to expect from this long term visit of Mars in my 10th house. For a periode of time, several years, I was absolutely obsessed with rosemary... Could eat big amounts finely chopped in a good olive oil 😋... That obsession has now gone away. But I still LOVE fresh herbs. Nice episode, love to hear more about herbs 🙏 I am now inspired to go back to oat meal in the morning 😊

It's taking place in my second house also where I have chiron. Also just been nervous about what is happening in the world around me. But I have hope and these videos and my studies give me that hope. Thank you. I've had Blue Vervain come to me a few times. I def am going to finally try it. It sounds like my Capricorn stellium where my natal Nercury also is could use this ☺️ I am my worst critic. But I am working through that! Also Ashley i was wondering if milkey oats and or oats were ok to take if you have celiac? A lady at the farmers market said i could but it makes me nervous. I react to oats and oat milk. Celiacs can react to oats and i also have an extreme latex allergy with most foods that are related to it. Thank you for your help.

The way you describe the milky sheen makes me think of the softness of light that reflects back through the depth of a medium rather than from a harder surface, and in the former you can also have reflected back I believe, not only the surface colour, but also simultaneously the reflection/refraction, who knows the science..., of the complementary colour, and an intriguing light. Also silica content may be helping light reflection through the plant tissues. And what then in this of Mars in Gemini retrograde??

Yes, kids that are eating solid food can take all of these herbs in modified doses. My girls started drinking nettle and Oatstraw tea at around 10 months old. I like Vega protein with greens 💚

I believe the plants work even by close proximity. There are more than just chemicals at play here. And yes, baking in bread counts!

Hi both. Question re blue verveine. I ordered some 'blue verveine tincture ' and what arrived is called blue verveine: verbena oficionalis. From what I am reading that's common verveine, not blue ( hastata). Are they interchangeable or would you suggest I try to get a refund?

Fantastic info and class. Question: can I ingest/use any type of oil in food or does it have to be food grade?
These are not essential oils which are different medicines and can be very damaging to the microbiome of the gut when taken internally. As an herbalist I’d recommend using the dried herbs as a tea or as a tincture. Hope that helps!
