My teenage son has Mars in Taurus, he has always been shockingly strong and loved using his strength since toddler hood, but to be helpful, carrying heavy things, breaking up fights at school by picking someone up and physically removing them etc.. Now he's a weight lifter.. And charming as hell 🙄😅 Libra Sun, Venus in Sagg, moon gemini... Totally gets his own way with charm and humour!

Also, Mars in taurus could be very much needed to come in and shake up the comfort zone. I notice this happens when we stay too long somewhere and refuse to budge.. because its too peaceful or too comfortable, it takes the opposite energy literally to come in and cause a stir. Of course it will rub people the wrong way and be very off-putting to people that are set in their ways. This just allows me to see how regardless of how difficult or horrible it is, even the shadow side has its purpose.
I feel like that is the Mars + Uranus handshake in Taurus time, I like permaculture explanations and I've seen Uranus like the rototiller in earth (Taurus) breaking ground so it can receive water and seed... perhaps Mars is a top up of gas to that rototiller 😎

Brilliant analogy of your Grandfather! I resonate with this. Aqua Rising with Venus and Mars in 1st house square 4th Taurus sextile 3rd Aries. Yup! I am known for getting shit done. Yes I;m super charming Venus in 1st but, many feel they wouldn't like to get on wrong side on me because you better be ready for conflict which can work for me most of the time as I've learned to watch I dont go overboard . So thank you, yes I did get lots of jewels out of it. I am in battle shall we say with my Ex son-inlaw regarding his unwillingness to support my Granddaughter. He is Cap Rising soooo.....I need to tread very carefully and I need to think Venus, venus venus all day and every day. haha otherwise an explosive bomb in me could be set off. I get intolerant of his selfish irresponsible lack of financial support for my Granddaughter who is Pisces Sun Aqua Rising, good person, great at studies is in 1st year Veterinarian Diploma in University. Her father who is a high ranking officer in Defense force refuses to go halves, quarters or anything to pay for her 5 year studies. I am Retired and am putting her through so as she doesn't come out with a mortgage from her studies. So I have to really tread softly for her sake. Argh! My Mars sword wants go into battle, but best I be a Venutian Nanna. haha

my Mars is in Taurus in the 10th.... conj Saturn in Gemini.. right on that cusp......... grand trining Pluto/Libra and North Node/Aquarius.... and opposing Neptune/Sag in 4th.... Neptune in Grand trine with Sun/Aries 8th and Moon/Leo 12th... I know it well :) life is interesting....

I think it is even harder to have Mars in Taurus as a woman. Instead of being seen as having executive skills they can be seen as being the "bitchy boss". :)
