#grabbed by an herb, in the of summer 2010, during Jupiter’s last transit of Aries. I was in rural China at that time, working and living at a remote field station in Inner Mongolia. The little village next to the field station where I was doing research had a few gardens and they grew many crops and herbs, including stinging nettles and all our food basically came from the garden/farm or a produce truck that came in on Tuesdays. We were served stinging nettles for lunch or dinner very frequently during the time period that Jupiter was transiting Aries. It was my first experience with herbs overall and nettles, and by the time I had thought to ask what the dish was made from, I’d eaten a lot of unusual things in China so I didn’t figure out what they were until 3 dinners in. Honestly I did not care for their flavor as a main dish; kind of a grassy taste 😂 I laughed when that was the first herb mentioned and remembered the Jupiter Aries times of eating large amounts of stinging nettle “soup”. I think I will find some stinging nettle for this transit, too and keep the tradition alive!

Yes I can tell astrologers on social media don’t consider seniors for example saturn returns some are nearing their 3rd and many don’t even refer to the second Saturn return and I think they differ.
Interesting, I met my husband in 2000 and married in 2002. During the 2011 I had a huge career change as a travel nurse in IT with a great increase in income but in 2013 my husband had a stroke so I’ve been home ever since. I am so ready and would love and welcome to have some exciting positive changes in my life. I’ve had very challenging times for a long time
This was a great collaboration. I am currently in your year one course but spent many years as a hobby gardener and had the best little herb patch outside my kitchen door of my Levittown NY home. Ashley is so knowledgeable and I do miss my herbal days. Would enjoy more of these talks.

I read that dandelion seeds can disperse up to 5km. Also that the flower represents the sun, the seedhead represents the moon and the dispersing seeds the stars.

Just started drinking roasted dandelion tea (with chicory) to replace the daily coffee - and did a very basic herbs and the zodiac presentation at a spring community event this moms day weekend 🌻 and discovered Bach Floral remedies via an astrology website I really like making ashwagandha date balls for quick nutritionanal rich snacks
@@SkyHouseHerbs happy to share the recipe: 1.5 cups pitted & chopped dates / 2 tbsp cocoa powder / 0.33 cup ashwagandha powder / 0.66 cup coconut flakes + extra for rolling / 0.25 cup tahini / 2 tbsp vanilla / 0.5 tsp organic orange extract / 1 tsp cinnamon powder / 1 tsp ginger powder / pinch of salt / DIRECTIONS: 1. Soak pitted dates in 2 cups hot water for 30 minutes / 2. Strain dates well (the water can be reserved for cooking sweet rice or oatmeal, mmmmmm oatmeal) / 3. Place the dates and the rest of the ingredients into a food processor. Blend until it firns a consistent paste. / 4. Chill the mixture in the refrigerator for 30 minutes. / 5. @@SkyHouseHerbs happy to share the recipe: 1.5 cups pitted & chopped dates / 2 tbsp cocoa powder / 0.33 cup ashwagandha powder / 0.66 cup coconut flakes + extra for rolling / 0.25 cup tahini / 2 tbsp vanilla / 0.5 tsp organic orange extract / 1 tsp cinnamon powder / 1 tsp ginger powder / pinch of salt / DIRECTIONS: 1. Soak pitted dates in 2 cups hot water for 30 minutes / 2. Strain dates well (the water can be reserved for cooking sweet rice or oatmeal, mmmmmm oatmeal) / 3. Place the dates and the rest of the ingredients into a food processor. Blend until it firns a consistent paste. / 4. Chill the mixture in the refrigerator for 30 minutes. / 5. Roll paste into teaspoon-size balls and roll in coconut. Store those in the fridge and ear within a week.
