Electronic Art! Hows the PSX DVR & Little one doing ? Hope both are doing great! Always a pleasure to watch another Pro do the magic. You're to modest Andrew! that was a very clean install indeed. You & I both know it has been done worse in the past & I'm sure in the present 🖖
Hi! Yes, little ones are doing very well, thank you for asking. The PSX is waiting on me getting the burner laser replaced - I have the parts, I just need to get around to doing it :)
You have it down to a fine art everything looks amazing 👌 Andrew It’s always a treat to see you and hope you and family had a great Xmas and all the best for 2024 😊
Love your vids I really wanna try these kinds of mods at some point it just looks so intimidating I have a fully working psx that I wanna get chipped so I can play my pal collection on it
They're not too bad the fat ones if you have a small iron tip, a steady hand and some way of magnifying the board. The CXD9000x machines are the nightmare ones needing direct connection to the DSP like this one :)
Hi mate, back to UA-cam yes but don't think I'll be going back to repairs - at least on the modern stuff, I just can't get the motivation for it anymore. If I do return to the fold, it'll likely be for mods / retro repairs only I think. I still enjoy working on that sort of stuff. Modern gear, the parts are ridiculously priced, sources dodgy if you can't get them from a reputable component supplier like Mouser and service prices are a race to the bottom. That and I blame the stress of the last time out for a big part of the health issue I'm currently working through - I'm probably lucky that I'm not in a box to be honest. Nothing is worth that.
Sorry mate, didn't realise how serious it is what you went through, I can't imagine. You are right mate, nothing is worth it, especially when your health takes a hit. You have to be strong and be with your family mate. Take care fella, love the vids, thanks for your entertainment through the years...Spats
Hey bro whats up I have a question? My PS4 pro F6202 fuse keeps going out I already replaced it two times do you have any idea what is causing that issue
hey man I started messing around replacing stickboxes from gamecube controllers to play smash with my og controller, you get there eventually, this is one of the easy mods, the hard ones which I dont mess with are the nintendo switch mod chips, those are really hard and super easy to mess.
That has to be the neatest mod install I've ever seen 👍
Thank you! :-)
One of the cleanest installs I've seen, awesome job!
Thanks very much! 👍
That is some clean wire management! nice to see you uploading again

Welcome Back!
Thank you! 👍
Lovely install! What glue are you using there? Been on a bit of a mission trying lots of different glues, never quite happy with the results.
Thank you! It's Loctite Precision Super Glue. I'd highly recommend :)
Welcome back!!
Thank you! 👍
Hi, Paul, I'm not talking about deassembly, but is this for educational purpose only?! I don't know. Namastè.
absolutely amazing work bro!
hey quick question - why a version 4 modchip instead of the 5?
Cheers mate - this was an old one I had kicking around in a drawer - it's part of an experiment for a future video.
@@AndrewPaul I hear you. thanks
That looks fun and everything or you can just use free mcboot. Is all that super glue good for the pcb or components?
It's a thin layer on top of the wire jackets. These can easily peel back and remove if needed without any marking or damage to the motherboard.
Good nice !!!
Thanks! 👍
Wire management is Excellent
Thank you :)
Very nice mate, is this you back?. If so, got a Ps4 work to get done on it mate.
Can you let me know.
Cheers bud.

Where can I get a chipmod to play an japanese imported game
Hey bro whats up I have a question?
My PS4 pro F6202 fuse keeps going out I already replaced it two times do you have any idea what is causing that issue
Could be a capacitor along the fuse's trace line use a tester and check each one for any irregularities
When I've seen this, it's typically down to the feed mechanism motor starting to fail. Change the motor and the fuse. Should be fine afterwards.
Okay thanks bro I'll try that and let you know... keep up the good work
@@thecopenhagenking1995 awesome thanks for the help bro I'll definitely test those and see the results 👍🏾
Hi Andrew, is there a way of being able to get in contact with you please?
Yes, you can email me at ytandrewpaul@outlook.com
Is there a way where i can talk to you , i wanna solve my problem
What glue gun is that ? it's super fine/thin...
Hi, it's not a gun in this instance, it's a tube of Loctite "Precision" Super glue... It has a super fine tip on the bottle :)
How much do you charge?
I wish i could do, all that you do😢
If I can do it, you can too! :)
I'll happily pop a tips video up if that would help?

Super glue |!!! Would it not have been better using solder mask in case it needs removing in the future ? '🧐
Where'd you get the Modbo 4 from?
