My next project, two great grandchildren about that size but granddaughter has very dark hair so not sure how I'm going to do that yet and get brush strokes to give it highlights 🤔. Thanks Clive for another great lesson. 😁

WOW, so beautiful, almost whimsical and it reminds me of watercolor. Super nice job Clive! (I saw a video where you can actually thin down paint so much that you can paint like watercolor, just need to be careful that the ground or substrate will cling to the pigment. So watercolor paper, or increase the absorbancy of canvass with a product called 'watercolor ground'. I think maybe I have figured out how to make that from scratch, but not sure yet.)
Paper is not a problem you can buy a ground with paper base I think not sure how else it would work on canvas have fun experimenting
