The new heavy hand with the turned knight fight if you don’t have anything like meteorite or cheese/round guard is a death sentence… you can hit a total of like 16 pegs
Yeah, it's certainly more consistent than before. Idm the change. I only say its a "nerf" really because HP was good for like the first 3 or 4 fights as pebballs often stacked. The new version, you sort of need to build around a bit more and I feel like the return is fairly minor [I'd generously value +1/+2 as like a 25 gold effect, but you need to pay 25 to activate it]. I'm also not sure if the new one stacks for triplicates and beyond.
I use the beta branch so fought the c20 mole a bit and was saying to a friend it feels so hard i hadnt worked out it was 25+ as most shots are abv The dull pegs on teh wall are part of why i thought he had the biggest buff on c20 but now i think it is Mole and QR
I played a few runs beyond this one (they'll be episodes 254 onwards) and the Mole is actually insane now. At least at C20, they're a menace! tbh I don't like the change. It punishes cleave build too much as well as single target and targeted orbs. I feel like at C20, you have to run a bomb build now.
@TrentonCrow-wv1lg Darkest dungeon is on my mind. I got distracted by a few other things. I still plan to come back and do the back half / 2/3rds of the game when I know I have some time. Same with elden ring, that I keep picking up and dropping. I'll look into menace from the deep.
Hero backpack and as much lighting orbs as you can shove in a sack. A impressive run figured you for a goner a few times 😅
