This was sung to me when I became a member of Unity of Indianapolis. I cried so much! I am now the Minister there and we sing this to all the new members. It's our tradition.

To me it's one of the most meaningful songs out there. This version is enchanting, I've been listening to it over and over again.

The song was written by Libby Roderick in 1988, and originally recorded in 1990 on the CD If You See a Dream.

This was the song in the celebration of our marriage in Halifax, NS --- Pride service July 24, 2010. Always brings me back to that joyful day before marriage was legal for us here in the US.

I am part of an LGBTQ2+ and allies choir in Ottawa and we sang it last night. It was magical. I think a lot of people (including me!) chocked up. Congrats on your wedding!

In my church, we always designate one hymn as our "hymn of the month", and it gets placed in every service for that month (we sing 3-4 hymns every Sunday). This hymn was our hymn of the month for June, and it has quickly become my favourite. It's just so beautiful and powerful.

This is so beautiful and perfect for my partner's funeral. Three of us will be singing it, and your video is helping tremendously to be able to practice when we can't get together.
It was one of my partner's favorite songs. A friend gave her the Shania Knoll cassette when she had an epileptic seizure that lasted 4 days and had to live in a nursing home for 10 1/2 years.

How interesting Susan! That is the song we used to sing at the beginning of every 'Sunday evening for a change' at Temple. It's over 7 yrs now since the sessions stopped but haven't forgotten the song...
