Just another hint for everyone, if you spray the back of the glass black (2 coats) after your last coat of mirror finish has dried you will get even better results. When I worked in the paint department at Home Depot I loved to do demos with this product.

LOL Leah you crack me up, I'm the same way in a DIY store or hardware store, my curiosity gets the best of me, sometimes I am disappointed and sometimes pleasantly surprised! This product intrigues me, might be something for antique restorers who don't want the expense of re-silvering old mirrors, this spray actually gives the glass an older not so bright finish. Pity I don't restore anymore I have no excuse to buy a box of this product lol.

Hi Leah.....yet another great video! Just wanted you to know, I once used this product on my medicine cabinet mirror. For some reason, the mirror had several spots where the mirrored layer had come loose and flaked off on the back (from the moisture, maybe). I found this product and gave it a try. I must say, it covered the spots enough so it looks like a brand new mirror.😊

I've seen a patio door done in squares and painted so as to create a checkerboard effect that was awesome and only tape a bit of paper and the paint was used! Your imagination will set the limits. (I've even seen a misting coat used to effect a sort of sun screen effect on windows to cut glare.

This would be a good option for making stage mirrors. You don't want a plain mirror, because it will reflect back the stage lights too strongly. The way it's usually done is either with non-reflective silver paint, which doesn't look real at all, or by using a real mirror (glass or the cheap flexible plastic sheets) and dulling it by covering it with something like hair spray. Using this, you could make a custom mirror with cardboard, luan, or lexan, and it would be _just_ reflective enough to be a mirror, but not too reflective for on stage. And if it was still too reflective, you could sand it out a little. Best of all, it would be practically indestructible and reusable, which is just what you want.

An Aunt of mine gave me an old rounded beveled mirror that, over the years, has lost about 90 % if its finish. I have been looking at this stuff to spray the inside of an anglepoise lampshade to reflect the light better with an energy bulb, there seem to be better products out there that give the mirror effect on the sprayed surface, think its marketed as chrome in a spray can, but the decent ones on youtube are not available in the UK, lol.

Wow a mirror in a can who would have thought that's very impressive might be useful for certain applications don't know if I've ever seen it of course I don't have a use for a product like this but I do know they are people that do have a use for it and would love to have a can of the mirror and a can thank you very much for that great tip Brian Williams Guthrie Oklahoma

Yet another great video Leah! I used this on my garage door windows, just to get extra privacy. They came out great! Just thought I'd share what I used these cans for :)

If the mirror is on the unpainted side, would that still work? Great idea.

Paint inside the house to reflect IR back into the room. May be fun too?

Glass is great Leah but you need to try it with plastic that way you can have a mirror that is light weight.

Leah, thank you. I want to use a mirror I inherited from my dad but some of the silvering has flaked off in a small spot. I'm hoping to be able to use this mirror paint to make the repair.
