Thank you for that answer, as I had the same question. Superb flying: I'm mostly a flat-land pilot, though the South Island of New Zealand is a similar place to yours.
@Ibchuma we had Thermals in March 2013. and almost everything was covered in snow exept some rocks - and the thermals above those kicked ass!! 2013 was a killer season! To good to be true :D
It's a bit of everything, usually. This Easter thought, the wind were completely calm and we mostly relied on thermals. Snow is of course a bad source of thermals , but it creates great contrasts to the non-snowy areas. :-)
Twabourne & Louis LLP I know that most of the times in the alps are small spaces made for plane emergency landings, so you dont have to fly to destination fucked
Lehmann Peters at that speed you have so much energy that you easily can get several hundreds of feet up if you get in to sink. Also we never fly in the mountains without a plan A and B and even plan C to safe landing.
First watched this video 11 years ago when I was in middle school. Now with an ATP and over 4,000 hours I keep coming back. Simply, purely awesome.
Best vid of glider flying I’ve seen, its like watching you guys surf , doing cut-backs, threads, making sections. Simply a joy. Cheers
So awesome! U guys are flying these gliders like fighter jets! ;)
du bisd jo so ein depp😂
Wow, thats some stunning scenery! Cant wait to start my glider training
You've done it, yet again. Beautiful.

beautyful country to fly. Great video
Breathtaking footage!
wow, breathtaking.
I love this video
It's a common term used in aviation, for the aircraft's "never exceed speed". It's marked with a red line on the airspeed indicator. :-)
Another great video - Stunning!
Fantastic video. Definitely on my list of things I'd love to do!
Brilliant, thanks for the video.
Just amazing
Im glad this is back! What happened to your other videos? I miss them!!
Beautiful

Very nice! Thanks.
Veldig bra video! Sondre, arti å se at du også var der :)

Top stuff, great to see a new gliding vid from you! Great choice of music too, love me some Glitch Mob :D
wow I am really amazed by the video. It really inspired me to fly with glider.Thank you :)
stunning!!
really enjoyed watching it :)
Is your lift all ridge/bow wave? I can't imagine thermals in winter over snow...is wind speed high?
Looks definitely FUN! :) Great Video
Awesome video!!

Great video!!!
Great Video and nice song!
What a great vid.....yum yum.
Nice, do you have some heating in your glider 😊
FANTASTISCH !!!!!!!!!!!
So beautiful country! what is the best season to experience wave/ thermals in Norway??
Waves during the winter and thermals between March and August. :-)
Awesome video! Seems you as good conditions as us at Notodden. Video from there coming up in a few days :-)
Great!
Very inspirational....what make of gliders are these? And what model please
I wish if I could fly like this ;] just perfect ;]
I have no glue from soaring, but for me it seems to risky, isn't it?
Hell yeah!
Hey! What happened to your other gliding videos? I think one was titled “minimums”? That one was my favourite
love the snow
Awesome!! (I know I'm 7 years late, thanks youtube algorythm😄)
It's Voss, Norway.
отличный полет!
flying over the head of skiers at 300 km/h with a glider is fuckin priceless. well done mates :D

gogge hey what happened to your other awesome gliding videos?
Very Cool
Great job! What camera did you use? Beside, i guess, a GoPro.
Sick!!
How much does one of those two seaters go for?
50k and beyond £
Janloy Quintero there are older ones not this very expensive
WOW, ein Traum...
EPIC.
It was epic!! :-)
Great video! Is it possible to show it at my club's display at a local recreational fair? We want to encourage some new members
Of course!
Download it and use it as you like :-)
Do somebody know this amazing background music?
Make the world stop
It's "We can make the world stop" by The Glitch Mob.
Damn, I#ve seen at least 3+ glider videos, which are using this song... propably all copying Luca Bertossio
Epic!
What happened to the rest of your videos?!
Nice! How you get such stable shots? Do you film with hand or a standard?
Great video, but where did the incredibly bad home-made electronic sound track come from ;)
How the heck do you emergency land in the mountains?
you just dont :D
rip

Agreed. This is some foolish shit even for experienced glider pilots. Add 50 more feet and you're cool.
Name of song?
Neat! But may a non-glider ask: Red line - what's that?
Cool....
Seilflyving og solo, alt vi trenger. ;D Nice video!
Sorry, way too small a margin for error flying over those ridges. You hit an unexpected sink and you are done for.
Lehmann Peters at that speed you have so much energy that you easily can get several hundreds of feet up if you get in to sink. Also we never fly in the mountains without a plan A and B and even plan C to safe landing.
The Glitch Mob - We Can Make The World Stop
Dat Epic Shit! :D
2020 hahaha
tutte tourer
turn off the pish music first
More stupid music. Just show us the flight. Out and back!
