"So many dreams" is a love story. It's a love story of women who have influenced my life and my children and the art form that I make as an actor. So many dreams has just a beautiful lyricism to it, and the title came easy."

"I was strongly influenced by the L.A. artists of the early eighties. I had a certain desire and wish and a want to paint. I had the money to afford the art supplies, the canvas, the brushes and that first season of "Remington Steele." You know, I had money, so I bought all these wonderful, wonderful art supplies and they just ended up in a cupboard."

"And then around 1987, I started painting. My late wife was we were stricken with cancer, ovarian cancer. And that that's that's a very any any any ailment a sickness like that creates a real rift and fracture in your heart and psyche. And one night I got up and I just started painting. I started painting with my fingers."

"And so I would paint well, she would recover from chemotherapy, and I set up a studio. And so it was born out of that love, that life."

"Yes, these wall of drawings over here, they definitely an inner exploration. They come from they're automatic drawings. They all come from phone calls. My wife, Keely, bought these pads that sit by the phone with her initials, my initials. And soon as I'm on a phone call or I'm doing business and I have a a morning of calls, the pad is there and the drawings just happen. They just show themselves so they have a mystery."

"An expression of joy, really, joy. You know, you make it to please yourself. I make it to comfort myself, to please myself, to try and understand myself a little bit more. To create something that has a power on the wall and will be cherished by other people, my family and beyond."

"They're biographical and the intention. You know, I tried to write the memoirs and it's so boring. It's just having to dig into the head and the heart and and the memory of life. And so these paintings definitely have a history of who I was, where I was when I was. And they have an evolution from the kind of crude gesture back in '87, but to a stylized form now."

Your explanations on how they were all born out of the people in your life that you love, your life’s experiences, where you were in the world - makes looking at them especially meaningful. Your attention to detail , explanations and the picture itself requires me to just to dwell a long time on each and every painting to put my interpretation to it. Great video!

I do a lot at and I tell you what I get the joy out of it even when IM upset or not upset soon as something popped in my head. I just go out in the shed and I do it and I do such amazing arts that I really never seen before. And I can describe what they. Ah, so I love your work too.
