Maybe not quite as good as an equinox series, but awfully close. Also, I always used corded headphones with my 600. The cordless that comes with the Elite package are first rate and the small coil seems to work well with the machine. So, overall, definitely worth the money if you want to stay in that range rather than move up to around 1K or more.
