I am fifty years old, and I have been a Disney Freak for my entire life. I learned the little English, I speak from reading Leonard Maltin's The Disney Films with a dictionary in the early eighties. I am not able to watch their output anymore. It hurts. It is the quality of the writing, direction and yes, the editing. The movies are too large and complicated and too unfocused. They have become very insistent on narrow political signalling and a specific type of tension-defeating humour. They produce subpar animation and bad CGI. Granted, I like traditional animation better, but their recent productions are awful in any case. I can watch and enjoy earlier "flops" like The Black Cauldron, Return to Oz, Home on the Range, The 13th Warrior and Dinosaurs. I can enjoy Victory through Air Power, Chicken Little, Song of the South, The Million Dollar Duck, all the DVD sequels and everything else. But I cannot watch their new stuff. I have tried and tried these last ten years. It is terrible. Perhaps it's my Autism, but it feels like losing a loved one.
Idk about some art style decisions but the animation has never looked bad. Look at Encanto which I think was really good. They still have the capability which makes their subpar output super confusing
Disney has almost always been a producer focused company, not a director focused company. That's why their movies have historically had the same feel. But they also put emphasis on preproduction; fixing everything in post has led to the current budget bloat. And, perhaps, their current producers are out of touch, or playing things too safe.

Audiences are not superhero nor CGI fatigue. They are tired and frustrated of weak story and political correctness.
Exactly!
Thank you to the UA-cam algorithm for this video. Deserves a lot more recognition. Good work!
Glad you liked it man, that is super encouraging
